Really it was just ok. Good services and food tasted ok, just not that hot and fresh - like my waffle was premade and heated. I had the waffle with chocolate and bananas, my fiancé had eggs. It was a slow (coldish) week, so it might be different when they have more people coming in. Not right by the beach, but only a block off and near a Walgreens. Located in a great area where there is a good amount of shopping, I stopped here for a quick bite. We walked here for breakfast last Friday morning. The Resturant wasn't too busy and it was being run by two ladies. We were seated quickly. I ordered a mango, banana, and pineapple smoothie and the florentine Benedict. My date ordered a peanut butter and banana smoothie and the Italian omelette. Our smoothies came out first and they were so good! They weren't too sweet, which was perfect! Our food came out next. The Florentine Benedict ended up being a salmon Benedict (instead of spinach). Overall the food was really good. The potatoes were garlic heavy, so just a FYI. The only reason I took a star off was because no one ever came back to check on us or bring us the check. We had to go to the front of the restaurant and ask for the check ourselves. Overall, the food and ambiance was great. I'd come back here again. read more

This little gem turned out to be the perfect brunch vibe. The food was good, service was great, and the mimosas were refreshingly satisfying. Ordered the three egg breakfast that offers a large portion of food coming with sausage and bacon, three eggs to order, delicious potatoes, and toast. Ate here over the Memorial Day weekend for brunch with a large group (~10 people). Luckily they had plenty of room for us so we were able to easily be serviced here. Had a good number of menu options to choose from. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and a few of us did the mimosa pitcher option, not the bottomless - it ended up being more cost effective for us in the end and we could change the juice options we wanted. We all felt our food was tasty, good portion size and came out in good timing. First impression is that the staff was so friendly and attentive! My next favorite thing was the BACON! I don't care what you order, let it have some bacon! We order a bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant and it was so good -- because again, that bacon was really good. Thick enough to know it's real, thin enough to chew. The potatoes weren't my favorite, it was too much rosemary used that day, but I loved that they were seasoned at all. I ordered lemonade, which was good, but the strawberry lemonade I left with was even better. The orange juice and sprite were a little flat, but that's ok. They have great items on the menu so I would definitely recommend coming back and I'll be back to try more things. read more

It came with so much fresh avocado spread on it and had a great flavor. My boyfriend ordered the french toast, which was the best I've had in a while! We added the home fries, which is a must! Home Tacos, 2 for also about $20, were small and so so in taste. Baked burrito, also $22-ish, was large, but mostly rice and unremarkable in taste. GLOWS: -Service is effective and efficient - The food is actually good- they have an expansive menu and it was all great. - Outdoor seating that is covered with a nice view of the street (not the most updated set up but it does the trick) -Champagne bottle that comes with the "pitcher of mimosa" that way you can control how strong you make them. -No reservations, but we were able to be seated easily on a Sunday. I also had a peanut butter and banana milkshake which was pretty tasty. Ambiance: We sat outside which is right on the street. It is a very busy street, which isn't the restaurants fault, but nonetheless was not a great experience. Lots of cars and motorcycles stopping at the stoplight in front of the restaurant blasting music. Had one person walk up to us on the sidewalk and ask everyone for money. Service: Server had a weird vibe towards us. He was not rude, nor was the food bad/late, but he made us uncomfortable. My wife ordered an ice cream sundae for dinner, which is admittedly out of the ordinary, but I don't think too crazy to do at a diner. He was flabbergasted and had to go into the back to make sure he could do it. My ordering a milkshake with dinner also seemed to throw him off. I had finished 2/3rds of my burger when we asked for the check and a box to take home the remainder. He questioned why I didn't finish it, which was also off putting. This place was a bit of a happy find considering how touristy most establishments on the beach can be (which usually means mediocre food and lackluster service at high prices), and though the quality of our drinks wasn't the best, causing this place to teeter between 3 and 4 stars, the food and service were both good, so I'll round up to 4. We were looking for a place to grab a sandwich and maybe a beverage on a Sunday and we came here, again, kind of expecting a place aimed at tourists. We were welcomed to sit anywhere and we chose a high top for 2 on the front patio, overlooking the adjacent sidewalk and street. Our server was there right away with menus and to offer waters. I ordered a strawberry daiquiri and my husband a pina colada and we both ordered club sandwiches with fries. My drink was delivered rather quickly, with his coming more than a few minutes later. Though our slushy drinks were served in fairly large plastic "glasses", they were definitely the low point of our experience here. Both of them lacked flavor and contained seemingly little alcohol. They were $12 and I guess they were tying to give a good sized beverage for the $$, but personally I'd have preferred a smaller drink of better quality with more concentrated flavor. Partway through our meals, his pina colada had separated with clear liquid at the bottom 1/2 and white foamy stuff filling the top part of the glass. He didn't bother finishing it. Our club sandwiches and fries were good and flavorful and though the packets of ketchup they served was an off-brand I'd never heard of before, it tasted fine. Our sandwiches with fries were $12.50 each - more than reasonable. For us the star on this day was the service, which was much more attentive than one usually experiences on the beach. Our total bill for 2 cocktails, 2 sandwiches with fries, service charge, sales tax and "beach tax" came to $62.10. read more
