(3.5 stars) I came for lunch and decided to get wings and salad. The salad was a salad, so it was just what I wanted. Nice fresh ingredients. Decent size (though too small for $19, but I digress). And it wasn't too heavily dressed, which I appreciate. I hate it when my salad is absolutely swimming in dressing. The wings were ok. A bit overcooked in my opinion. But they had a nice crunch on the outside...a bit dry on the inside. In my experience, it's hard for a restaurant to get wings right for some reason. But I did enjoy them. $20 for 6 wings is wiiiiild, though. But I'd also say that pricing is on brand for touristy Ocean Drive. Surprisingly, the fries were phenomenal lol thin cut McDonalds-type fries, cooked perfectly with a dusting of seasoning. Nice crunch, soft on the inside, nice and hot. They got the fries exactly how I like them. The service was very friendly and accommodating. From the young lady who sat me to the woman who kept refilling my water and Jacinta, my server--all provided excellent service with a smile. Jacinta has a knack for making you feel at home and loved lol she was great. Kanoli is known for Italian food and ordinarily I'd order based on what a place is known for, but I'm getting over a cold so didn't want cheese or noodles. Yes, there are lots of other options, but I decided to go on the lighter side and not sleep away the whole afternoon Massive plus that you get a 12% discount if you're staying in the hotel it's connected to, Hotel Ocean. It's right on the road overlooking the grassy area where the beach is. Service was very quick. Overall the food was ok but definitely pricey for the level of quality. The mussels were ok, the lobster bisque had big clumps of lobster in it, the crab cakes had a lot of filling in them and were a touch overcook which is not my favorite. This cost was majorly off putting because I would've expected significantly better quality. But if you want something decent near the beach, this isn't a bad option. read more

We came in on a Monday night for the wonderful flamenco dancer and guitarist. They played for several hours. Our servers were so sweet. We got the mussels which were delicious. We got caipirinhas. The "small" cocktail is huge. I think all their cocktails come in the same format. read more

Tried this place for the first time Saturday. From the beginning there was little eye contact and I didn't feel welcome. It took 4 minutes to receive water and 14 minutes before we were given menus. The food was 6-7. read more

I actually took the bacon, lettuce, tomato from the two eggs meal and ate it with the French toast as a BLT. It was much better that way. Chicken and waffles were okay. Good service. I wish I checked Yelp first... Enjoying my walk on Ocean Dr, I noticed 2 musicians/singers setting up to play in the restaurant patio. Long story short, the guy "drumming" wasn't really playing the conga drums...just an illusion!!! Food was really delicious, but wayyyyyy too expensive! I ordered the Penne Vodka with Chicken ($30), delicious but pricey. Also, expect an 18% service charge to be added on the bill! Yikes!! Drinks were very sweet and strong! Show up with a buzz, have the expensive hooka, drop a days pay on a seafood steak platter for two and pretend you're literally anywhere but the United States as you watch a fire eating belly dancer move to Cuban techno music. We ordered the Super Champagne Mojito, which is definitely enough for 2-3 people, and Nachos Machos, which had a good portion size too. They also offer hookah. Italian food at its worst as a new yorker visiting south beach. I came here only because a friend lived in the area and she warned me before hitting this place how touristy it was and might not be that good, but the reviews looked ok. I had the caeser salad with grilled chicken. It was ok, kinda hard to fuck that up. Salad and chicken seemed fresh, dressing was tangy and it had fresh slivers of parmesan. However no croutons and no lemon. My friend had linguine with shrimp. Looked eh, but I can tell the shrimp were not fresh. No tail on shell is a dead giveaway. I gave it a taste and the pasta was overcooked and the dish was bathed in a heavy white sauce broth, almost soup. Dinner didnt even come with a bread basket. Come on. read more

We stopped here late and had a couple of apps and churrasco steak. The first app was crab cake and it was a lot of breading flavor on the crab cake was ok. Was your typical deep fried basic crab cake. We also had the mussels and they were good quality mussels. The broth was a little watered down but they were good. The steak was excellent they cooked it well it wasn't as tuff as some of the other churrasco steaks I have had. It came with rice and black beans which had good flavor. The outdoor upper patio has hookah so if that's not your thing make sure you are aware. We sat there not knowing and the smoke from the hookah was making me nauseous since so many people were doing it. We were surrounded by three tables smoking hookah. Atmosphere was a 3 with the smoke.
