My husband and I came here after the holidays looking for storage for our Christmas gifts. We found an underbed storage container that will fit our needs. We were able to get in and out quickly. I highly recommend Target, especially going at night when it's not as crowded.

I have mixed feelings about target I have lived in the area for over a year and this target is great and always very clean. It is a plus that Starbucks is here to keep my wife hydrated. Which brings me to my problem it has almost everything my wife needs and wants. Thank you for always being so convenient.

Staff is ignorant, if you happen to feed your family with wic. Don't come here. The guy didn't even scan the check and was telling me everything I had was unwicable. I ALWAYS COME TO THIS LOCATION. I get the same stuff almost every time. And it clearly marked. He refused to scan my items to check. Last day to use. I guess I won't be feeding my family tonight. I don't know if the color of my skin had anything to do with it. Top it off on my way in I saw someone drinking in the parking lot with his son In the front seat.

I'm not too big on zombies or playing out zombie apocalypse scenarios (though I'll admit that if The Walking Dead does anything to hurt Daryl I'll flip my f*cking sh*t), but this would be THE place to stock up... and not just because it's Target and the greatest store ever, but for many reasons, of which I'll do my best to outline below. ** Parking lot was surprisingly easy to maneuver on a Friday afternoon. Almost had a deserted look to it. The Target by where I live on a Friday afternoon is not unlike the 7th cirlce of hell, so my first visit to this Wheeling location was pretty much a walk in the clouds. ** Not a super Target because they don't have the deli area and all that jazz, but it's got to be bigger than other regular Targets because they have so much more stock than regular Targets -- on everything! Cleaners, food, sales, PET SUPPLIES. At least double to triple the variety and quantity of each product than the other area Targets. ** They don't have the same sale items as the Target in my area, but their clearance items appeared to be of much better quality. They weren't all vitamin bottles that had been previously purchased, opened, returned and repacked and at a really lame 20% off sale (which is bullshit, btw). They actually had some decent stuff out there, though most was still out of my price range, at least it wasn't stuff that I'd feel like the FDA would scoff at me buying. ** Because this Target appears to have a bit more space, the apparel sections aren't all backed up ass to ass. Here, you can actually take a cart through. ** Not at all busy on the inside either. I actually saw a surplus of employees in the store, so much so that they'd wait by the register area and anytime they saw more than two people waiting to check out at any register, they'd open the next register and move the following customers through. ** Bonus points for their $1 spot carrying creepy crawly books for kids on ticks, bed bugs and other blood-sucking, infestation-type species (see photos). I totally blew $3 to have those as 2013 keepsakes. THIS is how a Target should be (but with more sales on cat food and litter items, of course). When the next Outbreak-type scenario occurs, I know where I'll be headed to stock up goods.

Went to Target to pick up some snow pants and a sled. Target had neither. In Chicago. In February. Will be my last time.

The owner, Charlie is very personable, knowledgeable and helpful (without being pushy or overbearing). He answered all our questions patiently- even when we explained that we were just starting our search and were not sure what exactly we wanted. After graciously letting us lay down (we actually want a couch that we can use to double down as an extra sleeping space without being a pullout), Charlie let me take my time trying a specific couch my husband was interested in (but I actually was not comfortable on). Charlie always walked away when he felt we needed time to discuss things in private and it was much appreciated. That is the epitome of outstanding customer service. I then decided to try a few recliner chairs to see if that would be a better fit, but I guess I am a hard sell. Let me say this- Luxilon has a great selection of in stock sofas and chairs (among other furniture), and they do custom orders as well. I was just overwhelmed and needed to take a break and re-assess what I truly want and need before bothering them again. We saw so many great items, we ended up purchasing a small, inexpensive accent table which was a great price and very well made. It was an item we didn't even intend on buying, but it was a great deal and a very unusual and practical piece that will fit under my existing chair AND sofa allowing me to eat a meal/use a computer/write a letter, etc... My husband also was able to buy a couple of lift thingys for some existing chairs which we own. Charlie is also providing help in installing these for us and he is going above and beyond in doing so. I like this business a lot because it reminds me of how I used to run my store when I was a manager- straight forward, excellent customer service combined with great pricing for quality merchandise.

The contract is full of penalties for the customer if we are not at home when they deliver. They promised delivery on the 11th. It's now the 24th, and no one has called us, no updates, no explanation. It seems they can delay as long as they want and break their commitments, while we are expected to sit at home and wait for weeks. On top of that, if we leave and miss their random delivery attempt, we risk getting fined - even though they already missed their promised date by two weeks. This is unacceptable. Payment should only be collected upon delivery, not in advance for this "great" furniture shop ! Never again with this store, and I would not recommend it to anyone !!!

We searched online for over a month, visited five or six furniture shops, and even made a special trip to Chicago's Chinatown to try to find something unique. Our greatest setback was the lack of quality in the pieces we saw. My husband stumbled on a local listing for a gorgeous crimson nightstand from M&E that was priced to sell. I love restored furniture and creative vintage flips. We drove thirty minutes to pick up the piece. The owner's inventory was stunning; beautiful and vibrantly colored vintage furniture that was carefully restored. They are extremely open and friendly people who are passionate about what they do. Their prices were more than fair. We were hooked. We asked them to keep us in mind for another nightstand. Not only did they keep in touch, but they found one! They re-did it to our liking and set an appointment for us to come by and get it. Then, my husband spotted another one that he loved more. They graciously offered to repaint it to our liking (at no extra cost, though we offered) and sell us that one instead of the one they had prepared for us. With a generous spirit like that, they should be in business for a long time!

Smithe before, and the woman who helped explained their setup. They have green stickers on some items, and those items are part of their stock program. Those items are quickly manufactured with little to no customization (they might offer it in a couple different colors from which you can choose). The other items, which I believe have a red sticker, are items that you can put your own spin on. They had some great items from both the stock and custom group; far too many things caught my eye! They're requiring masks of everyone, of course, since we're still deep in the midst of a pandemic. Although the woman who helped me couldn't seem to pinch her mask to her nose to keep it in place; it constantly was falling below her nose. They do have hand sanitizer right at the entrance, and they had masks laid out for customers to use if they came in without them. I'll be back to eventually place an order, and hopefully will remember to post an update!
