Oh, Target. Why do I keep going through your doors to just "look around"? I foolishly think I can just buy 2 or 3 things and be on my way, but that never happens. I usually leave with a cart full of items and a little less money in my bank account. I frequent the Sparks Target quite often and have a good experience almost every time. It's almost always busy, and the aisles are in different stages of organization, but the employees are pretty friendly and do what they can to keep up the messy shoppers. Their return policy is pretty decent, even with online orders, and picking up ordered items is a breeze. Bathrooms are generally clean and stocked as well. The main question I always seem to have when I'm waiting in line to pay for all the treasures I've found is "Where are all the checkers?!?" It doesn't seem to matter what day or time I'm shopping, it always feels like they need another 2 or 3 lines open. I see stockers. I see customer service. I see supervisors. I went there this morning to get a consumer cellular plan because consumer cellular advertises they are in Target. No one is in the phone department. I finally found someone and asked if she knew who was in charge of the phone section and she said it was her area. I told here I wanted to set up a consumer cellular plan and her answer was that they had not trained her for that. A very nice person who wanted to help me but had not been trained to do so. Why would the store put some in charge of a section that has not been trained in working that section? She did tell me that Walmart was also a consumer cellular store, so I went there. read more

They have hundreds of woman swim suits but only three for men. Are men just not allowed to swim? Did you not think to order more? And no ice? Nothing in the swim aisle? Target CEOs, why are you so quick to push past the current season? Take your time, order things and have them in stock for the current season. It isn't even August yet but it's like Summer is just done now. It isn't and you are missing out on sales. Target does this with fall, Christmas and all other seasons...It's getting ridiculous. As far as Target goes, I am biased. My nostalgia-filled, childhood memories formed during the grand opening of the Target on Topsy Lane in Carson (inextricably linked in my mind with the spectacular purchase of my very fist pack of Pokemon cards) simply will not let me dislike one of their stores. Since relocating to the North end of town I have been to this store a shocking amount of times and I absolutely love it! While the services and sales offered at this store are no different than the ones at any other Target, this store sells liquor, which is fun. The store is laid out very smartly and I have not ever needed to ever ask anyone where something is because it is all pretty easy to find. The staff are great though. The times I have needed something from one of them they have all been very helpful too. This is a store that I actually enjoy going to. read more

This is the closest Target to my home so I don't like to take the extra 15-20 minutes it takes to get to the other target or any other store that I can find my specific items at. Might be staffing shortage or might be a particular pharmacist but you can wait in line 20 minutes, be told he'll be with you in a minute and then be told he won't get to you until after the lunch break. Pharmacist is rude and ignores people standing in line. Avoid this pharmacy if you can! Plus they are closed on weekends now. CVS is an ok place, It's this location. read more

I'm all for covid safety..they have signs saying stay six feet apart that no one was listening to and a few people weren't even masked up, but today I had a sales woman tell me not to try a dress on. With my mask on? There was no sign stating this. I would've liked to know this ahead of time. I realize in the morning every one needs to get going but to have no help at the front end and the majority in the Starbucks line is a bad look. Maybe employee coffee order time should be before you open. The one cashier when asked "is everyone on break?" Her reply "YUP". Wow. When I asked the employees in line 2 of them turned away said nothing. I finally asked for help from a young lady with cool eye makeup. She was the only one that did anything. I get it it's early, you're young but you are there to do a job. And in the middle of a remodel you should be helping more and standing around talking less. read more

This is our go to Target as it is the closest one to us. I usually only come here if something I'm looking for is on sale or we are looking for a birthday present. The store is clean overall and we usually find what we are looking for. I usually only shop the clearance section of the clothes because some of their items are over priced for the quality of the product. In the far back corner is their seasonal section. And they are on top of changing it to match the season. We do 80% of our back to school shopping here, we always check out the holiday decorations. They also have a section that is all local sports apparel and gear. UNR, 49ers, Raiders, SF Giants, and A's. read more

Yea, I'm a fan. This is one of the few "big box stores" where I will shop on a regular basis. Not necessarily THIS target, but Target in general. I often stop at this location when on my way home from Fernley. It is actually easier to get into than my usual Target on South Virginia. The store is well laid out and actually seems to have some logic to what items are where. I vey seldom have difficulty finding what I need, and if I do, staff is always helpful for those of us who can be locationally challenged. What else is there to say - they carry decent products at a decent price (both store and name brand), it is open and does not feel cramped and crowded, shelves are usually kept in order without random items strewn about, and the check-out people are very cordial. I will continue to support them because of their inclusive corporate policies both for their employees and their customers. read more

This review is mainly about our interaction with Ashley, but also because every time we shop at this target, it is clean and the personnel is friendly. Ashley was extremely proficient in rectifying a situation we had with getting the wrong nursing chair for my pregnant sister. We drove it all the way to Auburn before realizing it, and Ashley was instrumental in allowing for the return of that chair, and also delivery of the correct one to Auburn. Is it weird to leave a Yelp review for Target? I mean, a Target is a Target is a Target. They're all the same, right? Let me preface the rest of my review with a disclaimer: I love me some Target. It's my go to happy adulting place that makes running errands and buying mundane things like laundry detergent and toothpaste a tiny bit more exciting. Maybe it's the in-store Starbucks...a boost of caffeine and sugar always helps improve the mood, or maybe it's the trendy, affordable, and ever-changing array of home goods. Whatever it is, it's always fun to stroll around the aisles and check out what's new. And not to sound judgemental, but the crowds at Target seem to be a bit more refined than the other big box retailer who shall not be named. What makes the Legends location superior to the Reno store? Well, for one they seem a bit more organized overall, and if that is not enough they also happen to sell alcohol. I don't think there is much to write about the Sparks Target. They added a grocery section which offers a limited array of things for the pantry. But if you are looking for specific ingredients like spices or veggies, stick to smiths, Safeway, or Walmart. Their pharmacy is fantastic. I am sad to say, and it makes me sound like a drug addict, but I visit this pharmacy nearly every day. They know me, my wife, and kids by name. Not just one attendant, but all of the pharmacists and techs know us. They usually have our meds ready and waiting for us before we even get to the counter. This pharmacy has great hours and great people. The only bummer for me is they have no selection for bigger guys. I am just saying, XXL is significantly different than XXL "athletic fit". NOT THE SAME THING! Target in Sparks is worth the trip. read more

All good things here. I haven't had the need to enlist the help of the staff (other than check out), but there does seem to be plenty around should I need this in the future. Typical layout as all the other Target Stores. There is a Starbucks/Pizza Hut concession area at one end with the customer service area at the other. I'm not a fan of trying to get into the parking lot especially on the weekends, as the Legends brings in a lot of traffic. I'd rather drive across town to the other Target. read more

This review targets (pardon the pun) Target Mobile, located within the electronics department. Went there on a Saturday and found two black-shirted employees, Frederick, the 'manager' of that location and his sidekick, Chris, a very nervous and quiescent individual who did not know the name of his company or boss. Curious. Frederick was very much uninterested in listening to a customer's needs and interrupted 7 times in about 2 minutes. He was, and probably is, very confrontational and made a point of boasting about his time in the military. Note: I, too, served in uniform. After walking away from him, Silent Chris was asked about the name of the Target Mobile subcontractor, the actual company which rents out space in these store. He had no idea. When asked who the regional manager was, he said, "Don't know." Very helpful, indeed. When Target's main (alleged) customer service number was called, a CSR name "Mike" hung up when asked the name of the subcontractor. While Target has a somewhat deserved better reputation than other box stores, this does not mean that all is wonderful in retail land. There is no monopoly on sleaziness, and Target has its share. For the record: MARKET FORCE is the name of the Target Mobile subcontractor, which is headquartered in Colorado. read more

Called to see if they had a set of sheets in stock during business hours and no one answered the phone in any department nor customer service. Called Target Corporation, they had no idea if the sheets were in any store, they thought they weren't and had no clue when they would be. They also didn't care that no one in the store answered the phones! Real impressive way to run a business and lacking in training big time! Guess they don't need any business!!! This place is absolute garbage, always messy, carpet at the front is always filled with scattered trash, the employees are super unfriendly and don't pay attention to the customers for the most part. This is my favorite Target in the area as well as my favorite of these types of department stores (like Target, Walmart, Kmart, etc). The workers have always been helpful. The store is clean and well-organized. I also love their selections including their dollar aisles and their clothing and housewares styles. This is a convenient location and set enough away from the hustle and bustle of the Legends Outlet Mall to avoid most of the traffic. Their grocery section isn't quite as extensive as for example: most of the Walmarts in town, but there is definitely enough for one-stop shopping as long as you are not stocking up or looking for fresh (not in the freezer section) meats. I do not go here specifically to buy any groceries, but have several times been able to pick up a few needed items and/or pick up something I can throw together for a quick dinner. read more

I decided to give the Sparks Target another try a few weeks ago as I just didn't have the time to drive over to the Reno location. I was sticking to my list and was looking for a specific item in cosmetics where I met a friendly & lovely employee, Kaiberly. Kaiberly was working in cosmetics which was so appropriate as she was rockin gorgeous winged eyeliner! I asked her where I could locate my item I was searching for and she knew exactly where it was. We talked briefly about a common interest and I found her so above and beyond just "good" customer service with her knowledge of products, her friendly, outgoing and professional demeanor. She was absolutely wonderful! I felt so strongly about my interaction with her, that I filled out a comment card at guest services. I hope she gets some recognition from Target for that! Another huge improvement at the Sparks location is Guest Services. The customer service at the counter has been fantastic. I had to return an item and Mercedes processed my return. She was really great, friendly & efficient. I've seen her a few times since and have found her exceptional and delightful. I've also interacted with Brandon at the customer service counter. I had to return some wallpaper I purchased online which was all wrong. Different lot numbers made everything mismatched. Brandon miraculously found the correct lot numbers which happened to be in stock. Would be wonderful if all of the employees showed so much genuine care and willingness to be helpful like Kaiberly, Mercedes and Brandon. These employees are wonderful. I no longer feel the need to go to the Reno Target. The only reason I didn't rate the Sparks location 5 stars is because nearly every time I've gone to the Sparks Target, even just for a few things - it seems like there's not enough checkers available. Maybe it's just the days I've gone but lines seem longer and not enough checkers unless you want to do self checkout. Not as bad as Walmart (gasp! Nothing is as bad as Walmart lines!) but still, front store management should check out the front more often and allow for more checkers when lines are 5 people deep. read more

The store is clean and the staff are friendly. However, I do have a few concerns. One of my concerns with the store are that they are poorly stocked. Another is that their clothes, while cheap in quality, are not very cheap in price. $25+ for a shirt, thinner than tissue paper? Ridiculous. Their clothes shrink (you can tell by looking at the cheap fabric they use on the label) and the sizing is way off and not at all flattering, unless you happen to look exactly like the models who are shown in the clothing. Even then, you'll probably need the help of photoshop (they most likely did). If you want the same quality, go to Rue21 or Styles, if either of them are even open still. Thankfully, I tried on the clothing before buying it. While they have many cute home decor stuff on the website, in store they are lacking in quantity. I'm not stupid enough to think they would or should have every single item that is on their website, in their store as well but, there were several empty shelves! Really disappointing. Having said all that, I will probably give it another try. It could have been an off day and a shipment of more products could be on their way tomorrow or the next day. I will definitely just skip the clothing department from now on. As of right now, this will definitely not be a Target I go to often, which is a shame since I live only 2 or more miles away, and normally love Target. read more

NEVER Order Online/In-Store Pick-up!! After searching for an Oculus Quest 2 for my son's birthday (today) I found two available at this location on E. Lincoln. I drove from Carson City because they were completely out here. When I got there 30 min later the young man at the pick-up counter said I had to wait to get a confirmed email to pick it up. I waited and instead received a cancellation email from target? When I came and spoke to Beth, then Ashley (Mngr.) I got nothing but excuses, Ashley basically stated they get thousands of orders per week, and she didn't know why it got cancelled? She wanted me to pay for the unit they had at the counter! I told her I would absolutely not pay another $323 becauseI wasn't sure if they put the other $323 back in my account, after they cancelled my order. No apology No resolution, Nothing!!! I will never shop target gain. What a terrible experience for my son on his b-day. Now I have to call my bank to resolve this and hopefully get reimbursed within a week. read more

Starbucks does not open right away. At 8am they are doing inventory and cleaning the area. So, if you get of work at 730am don't go here for an immediate fix while you run some errands. Plus side. They had a collectible release today and they gave vouchers to the people in line to guarantee the purchase of the item and to minimize casualties and confrontation. It's a civil way to work the system. I like it better than what they used to do. The place is huge and can cause a lot of problems for those who have waited and don't receive the item. Of course I didn't get one, but I really like the idea. Wish I got off work an hour earlier. Also, they always have deals to get gift cards or to save money on your favorite products. The place is clean and well organized for the most part. I recommend this place. read more

This is the best Target in the area and it's dangerously close to my house. I appreciate that they open earlier than other department stores and also that they aren't open 24 hours like Walmart. We've got enough 24 hour shopping in this town. The store is well laid out, clean and carries a decent variety of whatever you might need. Housewares, home products, shoes, clothing, light automotive etc. The store brands like the Merona clothing are great quality. If I forgot something I can be there and back home within 15 minutes.They cashiers are quick, friendly and there is rarely a very long line. The check stand areas are also nice and wide and easy to navigate through with a cart. This store has a nice extended grocery area with a great selection of meat, produce and other items. Not exactly a full grocery store but far more than just a convince store size selection. They also carry wine unlike the south Reno Target (last time I checked that is) The Starbucks inside is a nice addition and there is a fairly large seating area adjacent to it. They also have a quick pick up prepared food area too. I've never tried anything but the coffee but it all smells good and looks to be very convenient. The pricing at Target can be higher on the same products elsewhere but it is a very nice store to shop in and it's a pleasant experience. I shop here frequently for household basics and kids' clothes. Yesterday I went to 2 different pet stores looking for a dog slip lead, and neither one had it, so I ended up ordering on Amazon. Today my shower curtain rod broke, so I ran to Target for a new one. I found a nice quality rod right away for a reasonable price. I decided to go to the small pet supplies department, and lo and behold, I found the exact lead I wanted! I love using the Cartwheel app, and the red card for discounts. I like many people live in an apartment with a coin operated machine. I got change back, my own money, and asked for quarters in a roll of ten. I was told they couldn't do that because he didn't have anyone and to go to guest services. The guy told me they couldn't give quarters back as change because it's store policy they only get so many. Worst fucking target in Nevada tbh. Went in to grab storage containers. Not of the boxes they had left had matching lids are really any lids that fit at all. More than half their isles are always empty. I usually like cross referencing the app to actual see what I can get at this location and it also says they have what I want but you go in to the store and it's always a different story. When walking the the store looks clean. There is no debris on the floor. The shelves are organized in stocks. When going here I was looking for a specific product. The product was supposed to be put out on the shelves (which it was Street dated for). When asking for assistance from someone who works there they could not give me any information on when the product is being put out or where the product is at that particular moment. I went as far to get the DCPI number and all of the information leaving behind that product. After I left I came back about an hour later. The product that I have been waiting for was put out after I left but gone before I got back. When speaking to the manager at this time she was extremely rude. Nothing like a manager should be. She was very unprofessional. My overall experience when walking in the store for the past three weeks trying to get this product I would say would be a one star. I did not like how the staff treated me. As well as not being prepared on knowing where their product is and when they're going to put it out. read more

This Target is the BOMB! Way better than the Reno location because the Reno location is way too cluttered. The sparks location is in a good area and I feel safe going here by myself to shop. All the aisles are neat and tidy, and the bathrooms are clean. While the prices are a little more expensive than others their products are nicer than their competitors. I also love that they have a grocery section now, so nice! Also, what's not to love about shopping with a grande java chip frap ;) I love the pharmacy here as well. The pharmacist and pharm techs are always so polite and helpful. read more
