I had to return an electronic item that was not compatible with my device. The returns counter is conveniently located in the front of the store and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I drove to this Target from West Reno to use my gift card. The parking lot is easy to navigate with plenty of spaces. The store is super clean with a big selection of things. I enjoyed looking through the ladies clothing section and ended up selecting a blue jean dress that I love along with many other items I either did or did not need. I chatted with the engaging cashier as I was checking out and totally forgot to use my gift card! As I was leaving I glanced over and saw the customer service desk and thought I'm going to give it a try. Rafael assisted me with a smile on his face as he did a total return and then a new purchase using my gift card to pay. Saturday night. Poorly stocked and messy, empty and low stocked shelves seem to be everywhere you turn. Target used to look good almost all the time. Embarrassing store condition and experience as a stockholder and former retailer. A few team members wandering, talking and straightening not much urgency to take care of their location. I wasn't going to leave a review but this is the 3rd time this has happened to me. I usually order pick up groceries since I'm always busy. It's honestly super convenient. However, I've had some bad luck with any produce items. I usually will not get any produce when I order cause whoever is picking the order never reads dates. But this time I was grossed out... I had plans for dinner and picked up my order and the asparagus was 2 weeks expired... I get a few days but 2 weeks? Yikes... you'd think they would pay attention a bit more in the produce section. It's not that big of a department.. Anyways, like I've said this has happened 3 times to me very annoying.. I only notice when I get home, then have to leave again to go get the right stuff. WORST starbucks experience EVER... I was with my grandpa who served in the military, we went to get two caramel frappe's. the server was tall with dark hair, her name was Mariyah, she was SUPER rude and disrespectful to my grandpa who has hearing problems... A Five Star shopping experience with my doggie Olivia Cocobean today at Target in Sparks. How can you not love target. It has everything. Food, clothing, home decor, toys, electronics and a beautiful garden section. Today my doggie Olivia Cocobean and I, came to shop for food and home supplies. The store is beautifully lit, so many items to choose from. One of our favorite sections is the 5.00 and under section when you just walk in the store. There are so many fun things to buy. My father just moved up to Reno and I was out picking up things for his home. As is typical with Target everything is locked up, you can push buttons and nobody comes. I went in three employees and nobody could help me finally I asked two employees to call somebody Finally, a nice kid came by, but he did not have the keys to open the cabinet in question when the manager did show up, I was on trial. He asked me who I talk to what I didn't get me names and I said I didn't know who the hell I talk to, but what I can tell you is I have never been treated the way I was treated this evening. Just shop Amazon Save yourself the agony of waiting forever for someone to show up and be rude I am calling the regional manager tomorrow. I am told that Larry is not in. This is the kind of difficult rating to do because parts of the store are definitely a five star which you'll be able to tell by my pictures what is my favorite part of the store which is the makeup department they have got name brands high-end low end they've got everything and that I just love I can spend hours in the makeup department. In my opinion they are a little on the pricey side I mean I saw a basically grown-up sippy cup for $45! But the store is clean the staff is more interested in their friends and chatting then helping people and of course they have that lovely self-service checkout with them staring at you like you're going to steal but you're actually just doing their job anyway that's a whole other topic LOL. It is a little disappointing that they take out their cafeteria little thing because like last year they had Nathan's Hot dogs Pizza just little snacky things that were great to have walking around the store to munch on. Love this Target location! Especially since the remodel. The location is conveniently located near the Legends Mall and close to the freeway. They have a wonderful selection of items and I love the expanded self-checkout area. I rarely ever have to wait in line too long when leaving and it's always been a pleasant experience. The staff are always friendly and kind - minor exception for those who do the pickup orders because there's been a number of times I have almost been run over by them not paying attention when pushing their carts around the store. The store is always kept clean and is laid out well. I find myself frequenting the toddler section of the store most and they always have such a great selection of clothing for them at great prices! From there I usually head over to the toys to see what's in stock and again, this part is really laid out well. Everything is organized for the most part and easy to find. read more

Stopped by Target yesterday to pick up a few items for the house. During my visit I remembered my favorite skin care brand Good Molecules just released their products in target stores so I attempted to look for the brand in the skin care section and it was just being restocked. Love Good Molecules because they are affordable products but work so good for my highly sensitive skin. I asked the attendant, Abigail, if she had the pimple patches and wasn't sure so she searched it but couldn't find it. No worries though! I was just glad to know the products are available in store. We drive about the same amount of time between this target and south reno so we often come to this location especially if we are in the area. I would normally give this location 5/5 stars as before this review, we always had ease of finding and purchasing things we need either in store or through their app. My husband bought a couple of Apple accessories on the the target app and chose pick to drive up pick up option as he recent bought a new phone. We received a notification it was ready for pick up and as we were in the area, we decided to park at the drive up location. Wait time was not long as we received the bag but as soon as my husband opened the bag he new one of the items were wrong. My husband waited until the employee completed the task of delivering purchased items to other customers and he brought the discrepancy up. He advised us to go to customer service for further assistance. We approached the customer service line inside and noticed a long line but again the wait time wasn't long. Another employee helped us and requested her coworker to find the correct item who gave an attitude to her like he was hesitant to do the task. After she kept saying please can you do it, her coworker finally decided to go. A few minutes later he came back to customer service and as he was walking back he said out loud for everyone, "I couldn't find sh*t". This gave the impression of he didn't want to help, so my husband offered to look for it himself. We ended up not finding the item although the app said there was 6 in stock; we were empathetic it was probably in the back room waiting to be placed on the shelves. Again, we usually don't receive that kind of service at target, as it's usually organized and employees are happy to help; who knows, maybe they were short staffed or that employer was having a bad day. But that feeling of being the customer requesting assistance from an employee who is hesitant to do a simple task, leaves a lasting impression. My husband received an email about the item and he made sure to complete it in response to the experience. Needless to say, my husband went ahead and paid the extra $2 to not take a chance and ordered the accessory on Amazon. Sometimes it's worth to pay more to minimize the inconvenience. read more

This is one of two targets in our area. The selection is pretty good and it's conveniently located off the highway by the Legends outlets. I came in for a specific blender that said it was in stock in the app, but unfortunately the blender/small appliance aisle was a mess. Lots of blenders were out of place and the pricing didn't match up with display models by it. I ended up purchasing a different blender that was comparable with the one I came in for. Even though my favorite of the are Targets is in Carson, out of the ones here in Reno/Sparks, I prefer this one. I find that the employees here, for the most part, are very nice and the store is usually clean but they also often have an issue with keeping the shelves stocked. Today, we utilized their curbside pickup feature and it was a smooth and efficient experience. We shopped and paid for our items through the app before even leaving the house. We were on our way to the store when we received a notification that our order was ready. On arrival, we parked in the pickup area and let them know in the app that we were there. It was barely 5 minutes later when the employees came out with our order. She greeted us at the car, verified our code in the app, and placed our bag in the backseat for us through the window. ZERO contact. It was perfect. Kudos to Target for stepping their game up with this contactless option. It saved us a huge amount of time and was way safer than going through the store with (most) people not wearing masks and/or social distancing. read more

I came in for Taylor Swift's vinyl and to get a free bear. First, they had no Taylor Swift Anthology vinyl when I came in 30 minutes after doors had opened and I saw no one holding one or anyone with it in their cart. Also, I had arrived early and was waiting for the "Collective Christmas Bear" that I saw was advertised for Target Circle members. We had asked 5 people working that morning and none of them had any idea what we were talking about. I quote the cashier when she said, "I'm not aware of that and our manager didn't alert us, so I have no idea." Why advertise something if you're not going to have it? Lastly, half of the things that were on "sale" were the original prices before they were raised up. Not a great Black Friday experience and am not looking into going to Target anytime soon. read more

How are you gonna be this big of a company, and have multiple department lines, and not have anyone pick up the phone? I called twice for the Starbucks department, and the call dropped immediately for that option. Then I called back trying to reach the food and drinks department, since that's the second closes option, and the call just rang. Lastly, I called the "all others" option and again it rung for longer than you would imagine. So, really, what's the point of having department options if you don't even have people to man the lines. I usually go to this target and I have heard conversations about employees talking trash about their coworkers but today was not what I was expecting. Today I went in around 9:45pm for some quick purchases and there was a bunch of ladies at the front, a white woman with blonde hair and other women with brown hair. I needed assistance but the lady with the blonde hair walked past me while I was asking for help. I think her name tag said Justina? Or maybe Justine? By this time I was waiting she went back to talk to these ladies who clearly were working and uninterested. She started talking about how Hispanic people that work at target shouldn't be able to have a job here. I was shocked when I heard this. She kept going about how they are disrespectful, In my opinion it seems like she is the problem based on how she acts at work. A person like this should not be talking considering her work ethic and how she talks about others. She was also talking to a manager? And the manager didn't seem to care and went along with the conversation. She had glasses and was white as well. Next time I will certainly speak up for those employees! With Walmart taking over every empty spot in town, the only other alternative to an affordable department store that carries everything is Target. Parking is easy and the store is well laid out. The clothing are modern and you don't feel as you get a "Walmart" quality. The elections section is a bit small and pricy, and the food section is also on the more expensive side. For instance, I've shopped at a few Walmart stores over the years, maybe half a dozen times. I just don't like Walmart. Unfortunately, the Sparks Target store is not conveniently located for me (it's ten miles away) but I still shop there occasionally. I can usually find plenty of things I want and need. Visiting Target yesterday, I felt SAFE. Target was the first retail store I've been in since our lives have all been flipped on edge (which was four full months ago). As it stands now on 7-20-2020 (because I trust someone will be reading this into the future), everything about my visit was COVID safe. The entrance was plastered with signage stating MASKS and social distancing REQUIRED. I observed 100% compliance, including staff and children under age 9. There were signs posted on what seemed to be nearly every aisle or end-cap, stating the same information, and not only that, the overhead PA system broadcast the same. Beyond that, Target was the same ol' same Target. We browsed up and down the aisles aimlessly, looking at everything we don't need but find wonderful. There were noticeable shortages of many items, half empty shelves and such which is really weird to the overstock of everything in American society. We should all be learning to do with less. One item I did want though, was more Covid masks. I found the display empty which was disappointing. I'd bet they restock with the next shipment though.
