This might be the nicest target I've been to. Super updated, guessing it's pretty new. Everything is on one floor so could easily find what you're looking for. I noticed there aren't many things there, compared to some targets, so just be aware. I would definitely check the website first and maybe call in to make sure the item is available? Had an issue where I bought something on the website but turned out they didn't have that specific item at this target. Luckily guest services was really helpful! They offered me a gift card for my troubles. Overall, friendly employees + newer, modern looking store = awesome!! read more

I stopped by this new Target on my drive up to wine country. It's not huge, but had everything I needed - food, drinks, lawn games, bikinis. After filling my basket to the brim, I needed to run to the ladies room. I asked one of the employees if he could hang onto my loot, and when I came back, he'd already rang everything up so I just needed to pay! What a guy. read more

I love Target, and I love that there is one in this area now! However, this location is not up to the same standards as other local Target stores. They are pretty poorly stocked, with several key items always missing from the shelves. Also, the customer service in this store sucks. I asked a worker where the wine was and they told me that they're under 21 so they "know nothing about wine"... I mean I'm not asking you to drink it or even for recommendations! I'm just asking for direction on where the wine is located inside their store. There have been several times when there has just been one checker with a super long line, no one to help at self-checkout. I love the Target brand, but this location needs help ASAP read more

Selection was great and prices low however... - The cashier neglected to take the security alarm device off of the bottle of alcohol that I purchased so I had to drive all the way back to the store 30 minutes wasted on a Sunday afternoon and they didn't even apologize or offer me any kind of discount or coupon for my trouble and irritation. - on top of that once I got home and started to put my groceries away I noticed they had missed the one dollar off coupon that was on the navel oranges bag it was only good for today at the checkout. - so any money they saved was negated in gas time and effort and irritation. I even downloaded the app which I will be deleting the target app very soon You have to train your staff so they catch these things or it undermines all the incredible work they've done to build a store with great variety and bargains. read more

This store is a complete joke. It's about the size of a small supermarket instead of a regular Target. I saw a sale online for an older model phone, which happened to be only available in store here. Since I was taking a day trip to the Bay Area from out of town, I figured I would swing by here to get it. I came by, but they would not let me pick up my phone because my driver's license was lost. In spite of this, I had several credit cards and even a Costco card (with a picture) to my name, and they still refused. The man at the mobile department said I could come back later if I found my license, which I eventually located. After I found my license, I wasn't really planning to go back in that direction, so I called the mobile department extension here during their posted business hours. Twice, no answer, so I called the main line to ask if they could do a merchandise transfer. They told me that only corporate could handle that. So I decided to go out of my way a last time (of course, during their business hours) to try to get the phone. I arrived and found someone near the mobile department, so I asked to pick up my order. He said to go to the front customer desk, so I went there and explained what happened. Despite that I had an order number in the system, they could not find it in theirs. They got a manager to investigate further, but then they came back nearly 25 minutes later only to tell me that the person running the mobile department was gone for the day (even though the mobile department was listed as open when I arrived). I explained that I lived out of the area and asked if there was any possible way to get it at that point in time. They told me I could come back tomorrow, but that completely missed the point. So I left, having driven out of my way for absolutely nothing. Honestly, they could have just told that to me the second I walked into the store. I ended up calling the "Target Tech" line at corporate to see if I could get it shipped to my local Target (seems pretty simple, right?). At first, they told me to call the store to see if I could get it at my local store, but I indicated that the store said to call corporate. They gave me a different Target phone number to contact, which was supposed to be the Target Tech mobile inventory department (I think). I called that number, and it was the wrong number. So I called Target Tech back, and told them they gave me the wrong number. They said they didn't know the phone number then. So I got the Target customer support number from them, which worked. When I explained my situation, they said that they couldn't move mobile inventory because it's a separate division of the main Target merchandise. At this point, I have completely given up on Target Tech. Their deals are in fact too good to be true, because they are nearly impossible to get. Target Tech is a complete circus and, to be frank, is appalling at best. Since I gave up with Target Tech, I bought a phone at Costco mobile, which had a much smaller deal (still better than nothing). At least it went smoothly and was actually staffed during posted business hours. I know that I will never use Target Tech for buying phones again! read more

I would call this Target-light, compared to the Super Target concept. That is not a criticism, just a description. Target has done a nice job of offering a scaled-down selection for this community, in a relatively small footprint. Clothing, electronics, school supplies, greeting cards and groceries. Plenty of grocery items in an area that desperately needs them. Prices weren't bad, there are good selections of organic choices, yes, even fresh fruits & veggies. There is no garden center and I didn't see any shoes. The store is clean, people working here seemed friendly. Most of the check-out lanes are self check-out. A welcome addition, for sure! read more

The grocery department in this Target is horrible. Very poor selection of fresh fruits & vegetables. This neighborhood deserves better.

This place is a mini Target. It's more like a Walgreens on steroids than an actual Target. I was thrown off when we walked in. From the front of the store, you can see the end of the store. Items are limited due to space. But it does have a decent food selection. Don't expect to get any toys here. There's only one aisle of toys. But I guess this is ok if you don't want your kids lingering and begging for more toys. It's a very clean store. When we walked in, we noticed a lot of employees restocking and making sure everything was in its correct spot. It is located in a perfect spot right off the freeway. Considering Marin only has 3 Targets, this seems like a good one right before the Golden Gate Bridge. read more

The two security team members (Jerome & his associate whose name I didn't catch) went ABOVE & BEYOND to help my jump-start my vehicle! My goal was not be forced to write a negative yelp review. But after looking for a contact page to reach out the district manager for 20 mins, this appears to be my only alternative. First of all. Love that there is a target now. It is long over due! However there are a few things that management should address. The store is very poorly stocked. I will chalk that up to being new and needed to learn what is needed. But when i brought up the fact that the store was out of a particular item, i walked up three red coats and they seemed annoyed i asked a question. Then they proceeded to tell me that the store is over buget so they are aware of the store being out of a lot. Thats really not am ok way to handle it. The bathroom was filthy. A dirty mop was used so the musty smell permeated terribly. It had been a few days since it had been cleaned amd there was trash on the floor on it was only 10am and not busy. Get it together Target. I love this Target! I should say, I love the employees at this Target. The few times I have gone in, I have been asked by each employee I come across if I need anything. Twice now, while juggling multiple items, someone has asked if I needed a cart, both times I said no, yet they stopped what they were doing and ran to get me a cart. I was very impressed. The employees I have encountered have had smiles on their faces and have been extremely pleasant. After one of my visits a while back, I sent an e-mail to the CEO (on a Sunday afternoon), just to tell him what a lovely experience I had and he wrote back immediately and said he was happy to hear it and would pass it on to the store manager. read more

This Target is such a disappointment, especially the grocery section. So many expired products on the shelf, from yogurt to milk to moldy produce to granola bars...some items expired months, not even weeks ago. Both my husband and I have pointed it out to staff there and I once called the corporate office to complain. It doesn't seem to have gotten any better. And, they seem to have problems restocking items as well. Between being expired or just plain out of something I need, I know there's less than a 50% chance of actually getting what I need there. They tend to rely heavily on self-check out and usually only have the customer service desk open if you want an actual cashier. That counter isn't set up with a conveyer, which makes it hard if you have more than a few items. Please, Target...we need you. Get it together. read more

This is one of the worst Target's I have been in. The customer services is poor (I've witnessed a couple times them ignoring customers), you can never find anyone to help and though it is a city Target (smaller number of choices) most items are always out of stock. I only go here if I don't have a choice. Otherwise, I head up to the San Rafael store which us much better managed and the associates are helpful and nice. read more
