I went into this Paper Source hoping to get some nice stationery. I left this store with not only some beautiful butterfly envelopes and matching paper, but also a nice skip in my step! Upon coming into the store, I was quickly greeted by a sales associate who asked if I needed anything. I kept to myself looking at the cards and papers, but listening to other customers interact with the employees, I could tell the staff was very friendly. Of course, I quickly found out for myself the cheerfulness of the staff when I went to check out. The sales associate was super patient when I got distracted mid-purchase by another patron's basset hound dog, and she gave me a compliment me on my leggings that sparked a fun chat about plus-sized jeans. I found the selection at this Paper Source to be stupendous and inspiring. Being on a budget, I couldn't buy just everything in the store, but I definitely intend to set aside a few dollars for a future gift purchase! Overall, I really liked this store! read more

They have the cutest collection of everything you name it. Great gift ideas, party decorations, best collections of gift wraps . Every-time I go in I can't come out . Lol.. also they have a craft table for the little ones. So you can shop without distraction. read more

My first time here and because of the experience I had, most likely will not be returning. The products are wonderful. So many beautiful stationary and note card sets that are crafted by women using recycled paper. Loved that! A little pricey, but quite nice. The service however was horrendous. It started when I asked one of the elder sales persons a simple question. She acted like it was the stupidest question ever and she answered super sarcastically. A younger person overheard and answered my question in a much nicer and normal way. When I was ready to checkout out, the first sales person (rude one) was busy chatting with her colleagues and looking at photos on their phones. I was completely ignored. Once again, the nicer sales person saw me and asked to help me. When I left I said thank you to everyone and to have a nice day. The rude women just gave me a black stare. read more

Worse than my last review. Something is very wrong with the women who work in this store. The one who waited on me could not manage do do the simple return I requested. Not only was she rude, her co-worker kept glaring at me as if I had just done something wrong. I should have learned my lesson the first time I was in there. read more

If I could give zero stars I would.... I had a horrible experience here today. Just went in to browse around for a possible gift for family members- I have never been in any paper source storefront before as this was my first experience. I walked in and was not greeted at all... yet all of the older women who came in at the same time as me was. I felt uncomfortable the entire time I was browsing. Not once was I approached to see how I was doing, as the store is a bit overwhelming if one has never been inside of a paper source. I was interested in the paper calendars I saw and picked one up I was thinking of purchasing despite the lack of customer service. My sister who was with me picked up a calendar to look at that was on display and when she went to put it back it fell off the hook and the owner/manager scolded my sister like a dog. It was horrible. After this I immediately put down the calendar I was going to purchase and will be looking for the same design online. I'd rather pay shipping and handling than talked to like a mutt. Unacceptable!! read more

They have such cute stuff, but unfortunately I will not be going back here because the older woman ringing me up was so snappy and rude for absolutely no reason. As someone who works in customer service, I did not appreciate this interaction at all and was completely turned off by it. They will not be having any more of my business nor will I recommend this place to someone because of how rude that old lady was. read more

Paper Source is a cute little store located in the Corte Madera Town Center filled with lots of different wrapping paper (I think it's wrapping paper) beautifully displayed on one of the walls along with a wall full of stamps, stamping pads and glitter for stamps. There are also a lot of scrap booking products, cleaver gift idea's and Smash Books!!! They also have a few DIY supplies (to make labels, place cards, etc) and idea's posted around. I got something for my Smash Book here and will definitely be coming back for more! read more

I would never think that I'd write a negative review for this store becasue I LOVE Paper Source product. A clerk was VERY rude today when she refused to accept a return within the legal return policy, because she didn't believe that we didn't open it and called my mother a liar. The product was not only never opened by us, but it was even in the original shopping bag for a week, until we decided to return it. If you think you may need to return something to this store, make sure that the packaging is in perfect condition when you buy it, so you don't get abused by the bullies that work here. read more

I have taken several card classes here. Love them. The staff is super super nice. The manager is so helpful. Claire is the best card maker and teacher. i hope that the corporate folks know that these guys are great. One thing, the classes should be 2 hours not an hour and a half. We love doing stuff at home, but we want the classes to not be rushed. Not the staff's fault, it is corporate PS that makes the schedules. So lets just have a 2 hour class shall we. All is well. When I was planning my wedding I needed a specialty paper store and this was the closest one I could find to my home that had a wide selection of paper colors and weights. I did all of my own invitation printing and favors, and I got nearly all of my paper supplies from Paper Source. I ended up making about 5 trips here over the course of my engagement. The store in on the smaller side but adequate. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. When they didn't have enough of one of the things I needed they offered to order it and have it shipped to me for free. When the wedding was over and I had extra bundles of envelopes to return, they took it back for a store credit (it was past the 30 days window for a cash refund). They always have fun books, calendars and knick knacks in addition to their paper and craft supplies so I will have fun spending my store credit the next time I get down there! read more

The manager was pretty rude when we were trying to return some items that were purchased online. Typically one can return items in store even when purchased online. I wanted to look for some additional invitations, but my mother said, "I don't want to give them business". Thus we left. read more

The random gifts are fun to window shop. Visually the store is pleasing. The employees have ALWAYS been amazingly helpful and friendly. I like this store! TOO EXPENSIVE and lame selection. I went here to find a quick card for a baby shower and ended up paying $6.00 for a lame small card that wasn't very original or unique. I was shocked that a store based on selling paper didn't have more options or bargains of any kind. Maybe i was just looking in the wrong section or they happened to have run out of baby shower cards...I would've just gone to Safeway if I had known. I love the Paper Source and was so excited when they finally opened up a location in Marin! The staff here are incredibly helpful and friendly. The store is nice and roomy. The only bad thing is once you step foot in the place it's a sure thing you won't be leaving empty handed. I usually love Paper Source but not this location. I received horrible customer service. The lady was so unhelpful and condescending. I used to think this store was stylish, engaging and whimsical but they clearly don't care about the customer's needs and are just trying to push product. There are so many other stationary stores, bookstores and art supply stores that offer the same products, give better service and deserve business. I'm not going back to Paper Source because it's an unpleasant waste of time and retail space! read more
