WARNING: Susan @ Stitchbirds is one of the most rude business owners I have EVER come in contact with. As a former successful business owner of a Gourmet Cookware store I was appalled how she treats her customers. Yes, the store has some lovely canvases, but it doesn't make up for the rude manor Susan treats her customers. I have spent over a $1,000 this last year in the store and this last week was the final Stitch! I had called to see "what is the due"....... didn't even get the words out of my mouth and Susan interrupted me to say "Sept 15 & we are close on Monday"! I responded "your didn't even let me ask my question" my needlepoint (3 Christmas Ornaments to have stuffed, (last yr due date was 9/30). I stayed up 3 nights working on the last ornament to complete it by Susan's deadline of 9/15 then drove 45 miles to her store only to have her say in a sour voice "we aren't taking them any more"! " I said I just called a few days ago...she said I know, but we aren't taking them". I couldn't believe the treatment. No I am sorry, no reason until I pressed her, nothing. I just left and told her she was the rudest person I have EVER met.
BUT WAIT! My husband of 48 years got on his iphone and found a Wonderful shop just a few miles away. We went there were greeted pleasantly, and yes, she could have the ornaments done before Thanksgiving. What a difference in attitude. SO if you are in the area stop in at COME TO THE POINT in San Rafael, Ca
