One of my all time favorite stores, and the Target of my childhood, Target is definitely a winner in the food and shopping department. Catering to almost all needs, Target covers the home essentials, vacation essentials, and anything under the sun you could imagine. What's nice about them is their dedication to quality in product, and selling strong brands with a good reputation backing them up. At this location, you'll find a Starbucks nearest to the cashiers and register section, making it an easy trip to get through with a warm caffeinated drink! They have taken out the Deli section which had warm , buttery popcorn, and icees, so there isn't much else to munch on besides cafe favorites that Starbucks offers. A slight bummer, since the popcorn added to the experience! The women's workout wear is always trendy and durably made. I've purchased multiple pants and tank tops that have held up through workouts, and regular wear long term! For women's, the intimates section caters to smaller sizing, so it's best to keep that in mind when shopping. They don't have the wide variety of Walmart, but their atmosphere is much less crowded and friendlier. Every time we enter, it's always been a positive experience, and target maintains a good consistent streak with customer satisfaction. Their $1 section and holiday/seasonal sections nearest to the car supplies and pet care products have always been my favorite. The displays are always eye catching, and they really do provide a lot of spirit with the hanging decorations! This location is conveniently located by a Walgreens, liquor store, sally beauty supply, and a round table. Other businesses are located nearer to the exit of the parking lot, but what better way to end a day at target than to grab a nice slice of pizza, right? Love this place so much, customer service with returns are extremely understanding and very helpful with product malfunctions. read more

Convenience shopping at its best! Just a few blocks from home, I can't seem to ever walk out of here without something in hand!

Love how clean it is here, and unless you come the day after or immediately after they've restocked - the store will be out of plenty of what you need. Lately the cashiers ahve been okay, but usually, some of the cashiers and sales people out on the floor are pretty rude or out of it in general. The toy dept (electronics/dvds) section is fine and the staff that work in that area are pretty knowledgable but can hardly ever be found when you need them. Usually you've gotta wait forever.. But, this Target is most convenient for me during the day so yeah...it's okay...and better than the other two San Jose/Fremont locations I've been to. read more

I love the new and improved Target. Went in yesterday and they got rid of the Snack bar and updated with a Starbucks. They must of got this Idea from their other store. Now you can shop and get your Starbucks fix. If you are lazy they also added curb side pick up, I still have to try that out. My favorite addition is the self check out way to go Target make use of those register. I am still waiting for them to add a Pharmacy hopefully soon. I grew up in Milpitas. This target in particular has always been well stocked and employees always took the extra hand to help if needed. Today was not the case! I had to go to Target to get baby bottles for my 3 month old son. It was a little out of the way but the target closet to me never seems to have anything stocked so I was more than happy to come here. I went to the aisle to grab the bottles I needed and the shelf was empty. Okay this wasn't the problem the problem was what followed. I usually ask someone to check the back to see if maybe it just hasn't been stocked yet and it's always been a positive experience. I walked over with my son to the books and magazines and saw not one but three employees who were just chatting away. I was not rude but really polite and asked one of the employees to help me. I explained the situation and rudely she just said this is not my department but said she would go with me anyways. I was taken back because this is not what normally happens when you go to Target. I continued to explain to her that if she could scan the barcode to check stock I would greatly appreciate it. She clearly didn't feel like doing it and called someone to help me because again she likes to remind me that it's not her department. Well she left me standing there for 15 minutes and no one came to assist us. I had enough time to check another Target and they had it ready for me when I got there. I go to self check out so I can buy my stuff without a cashier but they tend to put a employee over our shoulders and looks at the customers while we put in our pin. This is one of the better Targets around my area but beware if you buy Pokémon booster packs here... especially the newer series, they're all sold by a 3rd party seller that either sells you fake packs or what we call "air packs" - packs that got nothing. Buy at your own risk. read more

Most horrific shopping experience !!! We just have a new born and the Similac company send my wife coupons for baby formula. I went to this target to get the baby formula. However upon checkout they said my ID need to match the coupon to use the coupon. I told them there is no where on the coupon says ID is needed to use the coupon. Plus my wife just gave birth to a baby and can't physically be here to show her ID. If her ID is really needed she can only show her ID via live video. Then this security guard said my wife has to be physically at the store to show her ID. I felt this is totally nonsense. I took a picture of him and he tried to rob my cell phone and threatened to arrest me. Most horrific shopping experience ever !!! P.S. I went to walMart afterwards with the same coupon, the experience can't be smother. read more

This Target looks less renovated that others I have visited recently, other than the Starbucks portion. It is so huge that I needed to communicate with my bf via whatsapp because we got lost at those huge aisles. There are very good bargains, especially cosmetics, which is my weak point, so don't go there unless you have a specific list of what you need to buy. Hellish for Xmas shopping, even if huge, there is always too many people around, so watch out with a cart running over you! Lots of parking outside, but it seems a pretty busy shopping center, so not as easy to find the perfect spot. read more

I was double charged here when they implemented chip readers. I asked the cashier repeatedly if I was going to be double charged and she said no. I've also had multiple instances of employees telling me things were out of stock when they weren't. I don't understand why they didn't just check. read more

There's a young Latino male manager or supervisor (don't know his name will update with a name next time) that works at this Target quite frequently and he is the best there. Great customer service. 2 stars for him!! Other than that... The downside: -They only allow 3 coupons per customer when it states clearly on the Target website AND the Target coupon that Target allows 4 identical coupons per person. -Some of the workers make a big deal out of coupons. They huff and puff like coupons will make their shift longer. Little do they know... Whether or not they deal with coupons, they are still going to be there for the length of their shift. I ALWAYS opt to go to the self check out to avoid their attitude. Thankfully they are not as bad as Walmart employees. The Rite Aid across the street has excellent workers when it comes to coupons. Sometimes they'll even help you work out the deals and educate you about deals they've seen others use throughout the day. Some employees from Target should learn their ethics. I gave each Rite Aid employee a great review through their survey and to their manager of their great customer service. -Just went in today to get dog food because their website says buy 3 get a 4th free... Unfortunately they do not match deals on their website. -Lady at the guest services has the worse attitude. This Target store located on Landess Ave is garbage compared to the Target store a few miles away at Target on Capital Expy. Their food is always limited, plenty of empty shelves & rude employees. The worst part is their Wifi access. How can you offer Wifi but at the self checkout, is a dead zone for all Wifi and also 4G. I tried to use my gift cards at the self checkout but couldn't access them due to no internet access. Plus, it's been like this for over 12 months. I usually go this store and good responsibility employees are there but Today I went there and one of old lady employee name is sharlene she was very rude with me and others too. I try to buy yogurt by WIC and my application in phone shows approve you to buy from target but she argues with me and behavior was very bad.. target was in the same shopping center as another business i wanted to check out so visited here as well. store empty. not sure if it's "boycott" related. not a strict observer of boycotts. just buying less. I used to work at this Target & when I was new, the guys in the stock room would make me stock the tampons. ALL THE TIME. I was pretty well versed in feminine hygiene products for a while there. It was funny, some women would walk into the aisle & see me stocking napkins & creams & sprays & whatnots & they'd do an immediate about face out of the aisle trying to act like their friend 'Dottie' wasn't paying them a visit. & others would come up to me & tap me on the shoulder & ask me which ones would suit them better. I'm like "Uh, you look like a heavy flow type, so I'd go with the super-heavy-duty tuff-works". The customer service is horrible here. I came in for a return. I brought in a huge doll house I bought for daughter but has since moved on from LOL surprise dolls (thank goodness!). The young man at Guest Services asked me to remove the doll house from the cart and place it on the counter. Umm? The house is made of solid wood and the box is pretty big. I had a hard enough time getting it from my back seat into the shopping cart. Well, I struggled to get it out of the cart and he WATCHED me struggle! He didn't even bother to offer help. Worst yet, I dropped it on my FOOT as I was taking it out of the cart. He saw I dropped it and I had yelled out in pain. He didn't even ask if I was okay! He just stood there with a blank look on his face, as if I was bothering him by taking so long. I get that there was a line behind me, but customers should never feel like they are a bother. read more

I love Target. Loved it as a kid, love it as an adult. Good prices on a lot of things. Great place for picking up sundry items, like detergent and shampoo and soap and all these essentials that make the house run. Toy aisle is great too. Love bringing the kiddies here to "look at the toys." My go-to place to pick up latest movie releases. They always have them on sale. My name is Wendy K. and I think I'm addicted to Target. On the way home, I used my phone's map feature to find the closest Target to my new place and ended up here. I had a mission: buy a plastic storage bin to replace the one that broke in the move. I walked out with: 2 cardigan sweaters 1 fairly expensive (by Target clothing standards) suit jacket 1 V-neck sweater 1 30-gallon plastic tub (which I ended up returning to a different store for a smaller size) AND When I was in the plastic bin section, I accidentally looked at another shelf and saw a really cute potential entry way table. It's a black semi-circle that is meant to sit right next to a wall. Perfect for our new entry way. The shelf said the price, but there was no sticker on the table. I took a picture of the price on the shelf so that there wouldn't be a hassle with having to find another table with the price. I had to have it, so I lugged it across the store (sans shopping cart, since I was only planning to buy a bin). I got to the register and I caused a bit of drama. No sticker! They wouldn't accept my picture as proof of price, so I went back to the shelf to see if a sticker was on the only other copy of the table. There wasn't, so I returned to the cashier, and they sent someone to go look at the exact product number. I waited about 10 min. for her to return, and she was able to sell it to me. Since there was a scratch on the table top, I asked if there was anything they could do to reduce the price, and they gave me 15% off, which was a sweeter deal. Thanks for that, Target. So, even though I only wanted a plastic bin, I'm happy with my purchases. And, this Target was pretty good at having my size in stock -- many others run out of my size too quickly. read more

Poor customer service. Waited 5-10 min for help after they called. Woman could not remember the only product i wanted (Phillips razor 6800). I had to remind her 3 times. Since they didn't have it in the store, i asked if there is any other target which has the razor and she asked me in irritated voice which one. She proceeded in giving me choices like Cupertino... A ridiculous choice. At this point, why not give me LA? This is not the first time this happened to me in that store. The previous time was in the electronic department, where some customer kid was surfing my phone instead of telling what i need to buy to fix it. Had to hop on Yelp and add to this review the Supervisor PRISCILLA has horrible customer service skills. She treated me like a common criminal because I used a few coupons. I have never been treated like such crap at a Target or any store for that matter and I almost called corporate on her ass. I have heard from others and from employees there that this is her REGULAR behavior and that there have been several occasions where she has pissed off a customer by talking down to them (I am not sure who she thinks she is, the Queen of Target?) I think Target really should reevaluate their staffing choices. I will not go back there. I'd rather drive 30 minutes away than even be in the same store as this horrid woman. read more

WORST TARGET EVER!!! I've only been here a handful of times, despite the fact that it is the closest Target to my SJ home, and the last time will be just that, the LAST time. Store is messy and out of half of the stuff I needed. Employees are useless and unnecessarily rude. Whatever, I can get past all of that, since hey, they might just be having a bad day (on every day I go there). So then I get to the cash register, which is the real reason why I will never go to this Target again. (skip to last paragraph if you don't want to read) I get in line with an old lady as my cashier. Now, old ladies are notorious for being in an overall bad mood, but mine takes the cake. She noticed that I had a few coupons, and immediately demanded that I hand them over BEFORE she scanned any of my items (never before has this happened to me, and I use coupons A LOT). Ok, so I hand them over. She scrutinizes each and every one of them, reading them word by word. Hey, I don't care, because I know that I used them appropriately. After three minutes of this bullshit, she calls over another person. Not a manager, just someone else who works there. So he does the same exact shit she just did, except now tells me I can only use one coupon.. period. WTF they were for different items, and there was a mix of Target coupons and manufacturer's coupon. Their online policy even states one Target coupon AND one manufacturer coupon for the SAME item but this dumbass (Miguel) couldn't understand my simple sentences of "Please go read your coupon policy" and "Manufacturer's coupons and Target coupons are different." So after five minutes of arguing with this stubborn, idiotic man, I gave up. You know what they say, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. Oh, so why didn't I talk to a manager? Because I can only deal with so much stupid in a day and I've already wasted too much time talking to these birdbrains. Went to the Target on Capitol and had absolutely no problems. I guess the literacy rate is better there. My cashier smiled and didn't act like a cranky old lady too =] So to sum it all up in some key phrases: horrible service, dumb employees, out of stock items, coupon nazi cashiers. Avoid this place at all costs, especially since you have a plethora of other Targets nearby (Capitol, Story, or my personal fave: Coleman). My newest favorite thing about my Target is that there's a new Starbucks, and it's getting somewhat of a face lift it seems. We were in San Jose and I told my husband to take me to Target, on our way back home. My husband remembered seeing this store a few years back so he ended up taking me here. I had a few things on my list that I needed to get but wasn't able to find it here. If I had to choose between Target and Walmart, I would choose Walmart. Most of the times I come to Target, I can't find at least one thing that I need. The prices here are also a little bit higher too. The place was clean but location seems a little sketchy. read more

"I'm bored, let's go to Target!" I love Target and I have been going to this location for as long as I can remember. The lines are better than the one on Capitol/Mckee, and so are the customers. My favorite Target hobby is shopping the end caps for clearance items! I have gotten some pretty cool stuff for cheap, especially in the electronics aisle. Make sure to watch them ring you up if you have a clearance item, because sometimes they don't see the tag and charge you full price! The stock here is decent. I can usually find pretty good items. My only complaint is that I sometimes get really oblivious employees who don't know what they're doing at all. Also, there's an older employee who is the rudest Target employee I have ever dealt with. Their pricing is a bit on the expensive side but I think that applies to most Targets. I don't usually buy their stuff unless it's on sale or in the clearance section because most of it is a rip off. Also, prices vary at each store, which I think is kinda weird. read more

Target it my favorite place in the whole world! I love the prices! Everything here is always clean and organized. It's my go-to place for everything. Most times, you won't find a cheaper price elsewhere. I get everything from snacks, to hair products, to school supplies here. I love that they have an area for produce and meat now, it just makes it that much more convenient for me to shop here. The employees are generally nice and actually helpful too. They usually know where things are and give me great advice. The clothes and shoes here are also great steals. The price of the clothes can sometimes be more than I would like but I must admit the selection of clothing and shoes gets better and better. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT read more
