I have been using drive up frequently since last Mar. It is very convenient and safest option during pandemic. The problem is accuracy of the order when receiving. It depends on who will bring the order. Some employees are very polite and handle the goods carefully and accurately. But other employees make mistakes of my orders and I have to go back to the store or call the store. Recently, one employee who brought my order to my car literally dumped water bottles into my car roughly. Some water bottles got messed up. I wish I could choose my order handler. If I could do that, I won't mind paying them a tip. Drive up is supposed to be quick option to shop but some employees make the experience more complicated. read more

I don't care much for 2 story Targets. I really hate putting my cart onto that escalator carrying cart contraption. I have to, have to make a list before stepping into this store or else I browse forever and a day and buy crap I don't need at all. I have to say, the quality of the clothes has gotten so much better! I shop here for basics, sweaters, and gym clothes, and swim suits. They have some surprisingly good deals! The location is ideal for me. Where else can you go to get your coffee (Starbucks), book (Barnes and Noble), clothes (Old Navy, Nordstrom Rack, Ross, and Burlington Coat Factory), and grocery shopping (Safeway) all in one swoop? read more

Perhaps I have a bias to this Target because it's close to my house and its in the same plaza as Nordstrom Rack. But aside from that, I feel like it is cleaner and more organized than other Targets. I also love going up the escalator to get to the second floor. The employees here are also very nice. I'm almost always greeted as I walk in and I never have trouble finding someone when I need to ask a question. read more

My family loves Target. So when we found out there would be one attached to Westgate, we were very happy. And we have not been let down. Target has become the store to go to for almost anything, and now it even includes produce! With pretty cheap prices, a convenient locality, and being a lot cleaner than other discount stores, and quite a lot of parking, this Target is my family's choice :) read more

This Target is pretty awesome on Black Friday because I more or less found everything that I wanted, needed and was looking for on their ads while here. I know this is like a really random thing, but Black Friday is MADNESS on wheels and then some. Everything is everywhere, it's crazy. Even if you come during the hours following the initial morning madness, it's still kind of a trip to come here. However, the staff is AWESOME. They are always extremely helpful, they pretty much put down whatever it is they're doing to assist you even if its a simple question. On top of that, they don't just point you to an aisle and hope for the best, they actually make sure you get exactly what you're looking for and then if you didn't ... they try again! That's what I call good service. This place is pretty much inside of a "strip mall" kind of ... indoors? ish? anyway it gets crowded around the Thanksgiving / Xmas time so be prepared. I like shopping at Target because of the variety and cheap options that they ofder. Having a RedCard also gelps us save more. We often shop at this location because it's close, but because of the other errands we can complete around the area. I was just a bit disappointed with this location's cafe: actual Target cafe, not Starbucks. When we were there, many of the tables were left dirty. Mins you, some of the customers left their own stuff without cleaning their tables. But most of the tables were empty, but had crumbs, dried up sauces, etc. Hopefully, this area could be cleaner. Right now, it's a convenient place to shop when I need to get some necessities, but on busier days, it can be hard to find parking and deal with the longer lines. Self-checkout has rarely been an issue in terms of figuring things out. Customer service can be hit or miss sometimes, but there's a lot of turnover in the world of retail as expected. You have 14 registers here. It is a Sunday morning, late morning, and you have 3 registers staffed. Self checkout is a joke. Most self check out registers aren't lit, some turn green, some turn blue.... which ones are open and actually working? Also.... I understand that you have been going through a remodel but your makeup department has not improved since remodel. Huge empty holes, where product should be, are significant revenue loss for you. My experiences here only seem to decrease in value. It's a shame because I thought my experiences would improve with your improved look. I think this is my new favorite Target to shop at. In the last few visits I have always found the products that I needed to be in stock and the store to be clean and zoned. (If you don't know what that means- you have never worked in retail) Although, it's kind of annoying when you are check out and the lady in front of you has 200 dollar worth of groceries and you've got 12. Add to that, the cashier is a young kind probably just entering puberty and doesn't know an EBT card from a Credit Card. So you watch as he helplessly has a nervous break down because the machine refuses to accept his tender. Laughable and sad all at the same time.. because you've been there (the cashier, not the welfare lady) Oh well, I guess that's why it's a good thing I've got a lot of patience. :) Anyhow, that incident aside, this place is pretty nice. I think it's less than 10 years old and that "newish" feel appeals to me. Especially when you have shopped at all the old, ghetto, run-down Targets in the area. Another great reason to shop here is because now they sell food. :) Yay for me! The Target is located in a busy shopping center so the parking can be a bit frustrating at times. STOCK YOUR STORE... This Target is around the corner from my house, and as a Mom it's super convenient. However on numerous occasions no matter what items I have on my list, they are out of stock. Some of the time it's the same item, I always try to purchase my daughters diapers here. The Target brand diapers work best, and the past few times I've been to get them they have been out of stock. Not only their brand but others as well, it continues to be an issue and I've hesitated to write a review because I thought it was a mistake and they would replenish, but then a few more times and still out. After the remodel took place this store has not been the same and unfortunately I am at the point of not returning to this store. read more

Target has served me well at different location in the past however this one has let me down a couple of times that I've went. The curbside pickup took much longer than was estimated but it didn't seem overly busy when I eventually had to go in to get an update. I know things aren't great right now but you'd think they'd prioritize curbside pickup. I also had trouble with finding items that I normally pick up at a different location. I know other Yelpers pointed this out too which I found very strange. I'll probably come back to give them a shot given that this location is the most convenient for me these days and change my rating if things hopefully improve. read more

What has happened to this Target store?! I have gotten good customer service usually in the past, but today experienced/witnessed 2 incidents of TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and one likely untruthful reply to a question!!! I went upstairs to the holiday area that was Halloween but is now being transformed into Christmas. There was an older gentleman with dark hair and a mustache stocking items and I tried to ask him where the sale Halloween candy was and he replied "I don't speak English-I only speak Spanish". Then he said "excuse me" (perhaps his way of either saying "sorry" or "get lost") and he continued with his work-never even attempting to find someone who could actually help me, the customer! What kind of people does Target hire who are either unwilling or unable to help customers?! Perhaps he should wear a special apron saying "I am stocking-I can't speak English and I can't help you either"!!! So I found 2 young men nearby and asked them where the sale Halloween candy was and one said that 99% was sold and 1% was donated. I find this highly unlikely since Target has a huge selection of the candy and this was only 2 days after Halloween. At least he was friendly. But the worst customer service was what I witnessed as I was using the self check outs. A lady across from me needed help and there was a staff member wearing a vest with the reflector strips (usually seen bringing in the shopping carts but he was hanging around near the self checkouts) so she asked.."sir..." and he curtly replied "just scan the barcodes-that's it!" He didn't even come over and try to help. If he was not a customer service staff member, he could at least have called one to help her-SO RUDE! UPDATE: I went to target and again I was followed by a different security, I'm so irritated just because I have a baby in a stroller doesn't give them the right to judge me as a thief. Since when did Target turn into Walmart. Those big red baskets they have are in the way get rid of those the kids section was a total mess. I live by This Target and shop here a lot. (My go to store) Tonight the security followed my husband and I my baby and 6 year old as we shopped. He made it so obvious he was following us and he was trying to hide. OK- I love Target. Who doesn't?! So, this review breaks my heart buuuut I did NOT have a good experience with guest services & management here. Soooo, I bought a Fitbit and about 12 days later I saw that the price for it dropped. I checked their websites to see if I'm eligible to do price adjustments and from what I read it all seemed like I can do it. I went to guest services WITH my receipt and asked them for a price adjustment. The employee (I didn't get his name) looked at me like I was crazy. I told him on the website it says I can do a price adjustment if it's within 14 days of the purchase + have the original receipt present. He then asked his manager through the radio if I'm able to do that and the manager unsure. I, again, proceeded to tell him that it says on the website I'm ok to do it. But nothing. He then claimed I had to have the original box with me but that was never stated on the website. His manager through the radio was like "I think it needs to be 7 days" again, not what it said on the damn website. Also, a line was building up so everyone heard the convo because the employee was talking very loud on the radio and ya it was so stupid. I gave up because clearly they weren't doing anything other than judging probs. I went home & called corporate and told them what had happened. GUESS WHAT: I was right all along. Idk why the employees did not know what they were doing, especially management. Overall, after talking to corporate they were able to help accommodate my damn price adjustment. friendly advice to everyone: if you are at target and an employee gives you a hard time you can walk up to guest services and ask for the red phone. The red phone will automatically connect you to the corporate number and you can talk to them while you're at the store. I got this advice from corporate! read more

I live nearby and was here at this Target sometimes several times a week. Unfortunately, the very unnecessary remodel here recently has made shopping here a total drag. The isles are very narrow, the products on the shelves are limited in quantity to just a few each and the prices on basics all of a sudden dramatically increased (ex: Listerine 1.5 L mouthwash was $5.89 but is now $ 8.99 ?). I just spent 90 minutes in the seventh circle of hell! Where is that you wonder? It is the target curbside pick up area with a three-year-old. I hadn't tried the target curbside pick up option before and I doubt I will ever do it again after this experience. It seems simple enough. You get an email and alert them when you're on your way and then they bring your item out to your car. I however waited 90 minutes and still never received my items. I understand they are busy but that is ridiculous! 45 Minutes in my three-year-old starts complaining she hast to go to the bathroom, luckily I have a potty in the back of the car for emergencies! Not so lucky, turns out not only does she need to go number one she needs to go number two! So now my wait continues but with the not so pleasant aroma coming from the back. There's no way she's getting back in the car seat at this point so she sets about trying to destroy my car in every way possible. 3 Times I got out of the car to check and see if my order was coming and all three times they told me they would bring it next. There seem to be no rhyme or reason to the order in which people's items were being brought out. Some people waited 10 minutes some people waited closer to an hour but no one waited as long as I did. After my daughter tried to shatter my eardrum with her loud screaming I decided to throw in the towel and it had been over 90 minutes! Get it together target! read more

I really like target, especially for spending money I don't need to spend. This target it's pretty popular, it's across the street from another shopping center and diagonal to another shopping center as well. This target has a Starbucks & target brand cafe inside. The employees always look miserable, I hear that target is a pretty bad place to work. The checkout lines at this target are always really busy, no matter what time of the year. The self checkout is stellar tho! I always go for that. I avoid the bathrooms at this target due to one scarring event I had in there, LOL. I'll spare you the details. read more

EVERY THING is chaos and unorganized during their "rearrangement" of the store. Why do they have two separate diaper aisles? Why is there two little girls clothing areas? Why are ADULT underwear in the children's section??? So many questions... and it took me an hour to find 3 things. Thanks for a terrible experience. I would stay away from this Target. The customer service counter personnel(Marcella, Spencer and Christopher-mgr) are under trained, agro, and downright rude. Rather than doing their job, they would rather attempt to place the blame for their ineptitude and incompetence upon their customers. I will be avoiding Target and going back to Amazon for all my future purchases from now on. I placed an order on Sunday evening on target.com and went to the store on the following Monday to be greeted by a copied notice on every customer service cash register location stating "Target will be unable to fill order pickups within the promised 2 hour window due to higt volume" of orders received. Are you kidding me? Then they get get upset when pressed about the lack of professionalism on their part. Who trains these people? Seriously. When I asked Marcella for a manager, it took over 30 minutes for a (supposed) manager(Christopher) to arrive. It wasn't busy in the store and the attitude presented by Marcella and Christopher, I guess for interrupting their day, was appalling. Their attempts to place the blame on me, for their inability to follow through with target.com's 2 hour order pickup is unexplainable. There is no reason an order placed 12 hours prior, wouldn't be ready for pickup the following day, other than a severe lacking of training or the ieepitude of Marcella or Christopher. Last Thursday I was doing a late night Target shopping spree with my girlfriends. Upon check out we were welcomed by Cameron. Cameron was awesome! He offers a kind of personalized and friendly customer service experience that you don't see anymore! As a former team member at this store I have to say I had a terrible experience. Management has heavy favoritisms to certain team members and they get all the credit even though many of them do the bare minimum. If you have disagreements with or simply don't like a specific person then that meant you had problems with a lot of people who it doesn't even concern. The new Head HR Jennifer is honest terrible. I don't want to get into details but this store is terrible to work in. If you're trying to work here all I'm going to say is run. read more

I came into the store in search of a Nintendo Switch for my son. I had tried inquiring several other Target locations in the area but all of the employees told me they were sold out and brushed off most of my questions. I came to the Saratoga location and asked about purchasing a Switch. They didn't have any in the front but one of the employees offered to check in the back for me and returned with the game system in tow. While helping me with checking out, she also recommended me some popular games that my son might like. If I ever need anything from Target, this is the location I am going to frequent. Please bring back more employees for full check out. They're trying to streamline this during the week, but there are many customers that DO want full check out and not have to use a self check. Sometimes self check makes sense, but often it does not. Because there was only one full-check open, and a long line, I stood in line for the self check only to be told, rudely by a customer that the other line was on the other side, which I had no way of seeing. Others were behind me as well thinking the same thing that I did. If this is to be the case, there needs to be a sign stating where the line starts. When I made my purchase through self check and was leaving, I beeped at the door because my clothing article had one of the clips on it that I did not see so I then had to go find somebody to take that off which took a bit. The employee that was at self check was nowhere to be found. This would've been taken care of for me at the full check out. One of the employees did tell me that other people have not been happy as well with so few full-service checkouts open, or as stated, often not at all during the week, at least the times that I've been there. Was also very sad to hear that swimsuits are not allowed to be tried on anymore due to those few that take the liner out and stick it on the wall, etc. makes it pretty hard to make a sale when you can't try swimsuits on at the store. read more

This review is mainly for the service I received from a blonde woman who's name starts with a "J" in the Pharmacy today... I walk up to the register & don't see anyone in sight. I wait for a minute or so hoping to catch someone. A lady sees me, looks totally startled & walks over to me. She's staring at me wide eyed almost like she's shocked there's a customer. She stands at the register, doesn't say a word & waits for *me* to speak. No, "Hi, how can I help you?" or "What can I do for you today?". NOTHING. So I ask a question about some allergy medication that's behind the counter. The woman was CLUELESS & gave 1 word answers. She wasn't one of the pharmacists but I'm guessing just a regular cashier for the store that got sent back to help in that area. WHY would you put such an incompetent person with ZERO customer service skills to help customers with **medication** people?!?!?!?! UGHHH!!!! I swear Target hires the dumbest people!!!!! read more

Customer service is hit or miss. This time I got a rude, awful young male cashier who after ringing up my 25-30 items told me he had to ring up the other 4 customers behind me before he could bag my items. I ended up bagging most of my items myself. I did a online complaint to a manager who said he would talk to his "team" but made no mention of talking to this specific cashier. This doesn't make sense. If you only talk to a big group of cashiers instead of the problem cashier, then there is no accountability and the specific cashier will never know he did anything wrong. I also hate the recent remodel. Can't find anything. They stopped selling certain products and they give too much floor space to more expensive make up, clothing, etc. I usually go to Target to get a good deal on detergent, aspirin, etc. If I want to buy fancy clothes, etc, I'll go to another store that is known for higher quality items. read more

Selection, dual story layout, and offerings at the West Gate Center area make this a favorite Target location close to home. It connects to the West Gate Center indoors, if you're gunning for deals at the discount retailers in the mall. Lots of space breaks up the crowds and adds great variety to most departments. I stop here for my household supplies and nonperishable food stuffs. The wines are all overpriced when compared to local Safeway's, except for the occasional sale offering. They have a large frozen section, easy for dinner options when cooking or dining out aren't in the cards for the night. The home section is great, with many options from Fieldcrest, Nate Berkus, and Threshold. I've treated my linen closet to a refresh here, the Fieldcrest towels are a solid option. The lines tend to move a little slowly and can get pretty long, despite plenty of unused check stands. For the volume, I feel like this is the greatest and most glaring opportunity for the store to improve. Pizza Hut Express is added near the main entrance, no Starbucks inside this store. (Its located in the mall, around the corner.) Staff is always friendly and polite, haven't had a negative experience so far, which adds to their overall review for me. Decor: Their customer service area is a bit dated, could use a remodel/refresh but nothing too glaring. read more
