I needed to get some bread machine yeast, and since I was at the mall, I decided to stop at Target. They have a lot of cute Valentines accessories by the purse section that are so cute. I looked around there for a bit before walking over to the grocery section. I checked out the baking isle but all they had was active dry yeast and no jars of bread machine yeast. I didn't even see a section for it. I had been buying from here over the years. I'm disappointed with their grocery area. It seems like it's getting small and their selections are shrinking. Never do a pick up here. Apparently their pick up area isn't even where they keep the items. Workers have to walk across the store and bring it back. There was a pregnant lady standing and waiting for awhile. The person in front of me said she was waiting over 15 minutes for her pick up. When they finally brought it to her, it was one bottle of barbeque sauce...LOL. poor girl could've gone and got it herself much faster. My local target! It's part of oakridge mall and has lots of parking near it. There's two entrances from the outside or through the mall. It's always busy when you go, especially the Starbucks inside it. My family and I frequently go to this target for either makeup, $1 items in the back, or for groceries. They have two self check out areas at the back and front of the store. There's about 8 kiosks with cashiers. Great location and nice shopping experience. read more

Target stores are my go to for convenience pick up items for daily routine care needs, snacks, school office supplies , or on the go stuff. Toys games home decor and bath body essentials are my favorite items to shop for. Baby food, baby clothing, and baby supplies are somewhat affordable pricing. Regardless of my location of Target stores shopping. Self checkout or check stands are a huge for line forming for making your purchases. They have so many inquire finds that aren't available at other targets. The store, despite being busy, was very well stocked and organized. Had a pick up order. I waited next to the counter for pick ups and was told to wait in line with the people in the right side. However, the line was not for pick up orders it was the left line. After now waiting in the left line and getting in front to tell the clerk I have a pick up order, he told me to stand where I stood 20 mins ago! I asked why was I told to get in line if he couldn't help me and I had to wait for someone else? He just shrugged his shoulders and said someone will help you in a minute. I stood for another 10mins before someone approached me and finally got my order. What's the point of doing a pickup order, if it takes 35mins??? I could have found it myself and left in 15-20mins! I give this store a 1 star because last week I came in for an order pick up and I had the security following me already for no reason. I come to this target so often since I live less than five minutes away from it. Since the pandemic started I really started utilizing the drive up feature. At a point I think I was doing drive up orders almost daily for my partner to pick up on his way home. I personally was so excited when they started carrying the Alani Nu energy drinks, they are the only energy drinks I will drink. But the location itself I really like. Even for being a part of the mall it's... It doesn't have that very crowded feeling that I thought it would at first. Everything is kept clean, the isles are clear, I think the only spot I've ever seen consistently kind of messy is the shoe area but honestly that's just a matter of the people putting back what they take out of the boxes. The Dollarspot section I think could be better, it seems like whenever there are new bull's-eye Dollarspot items that are released by target this location either doesn't carry much of them or is slow to put them out on the shelves. When it comes to the Dollarspot section I personally go to the South San Jose target, theirs is always updated and they always have a good stock of whatever is just released. But for literally everything else I come to the Oakridge target, even for most of my grocery items as the grocery items here are much cheaper than even at Luckys grocery store or Safeway. I do also have the target credit card and I really like saving 5% every time I shop here. I remember when they were first coming out with it I was really nervous because every time I shopped here they would always ask me if I wanted one and I never did at the time, but now that I consistently shop here for household items or just for fun decorations or for groceries it's really helpful saving 5% every purchase! A sidenote, I personally wish they had more animal crossing items here as I have seen other targets online carry a much larger Selection of animal crossing plushy's and backpacks and notebooks and such. I never really feel like they have much at this location, but then again it may just be that not many people in this area want those items. They do however have more of a selection at the South San Jose target so I can always go there. One thing worth mentioning, in the photos I posted one of them was of the family bathroom. That bathroom for whatever reason is always a mess. I don't know how often they clean it, but it just does not seem like they clean as often as they should. The very last time I went there the floor was wet and dirty, there was toilet paper everywhere, there was a pregnancy test wrapper on the floor, and the paper on the back of the door showing when it was last cleaned wasn't even of the day that I went and I had gone just before closing. I went to Target and there were the cutest Valentine's gifts and accessories. I wanted to buy all of it. There was such a wide range of products (from candy to cookware) in the Valentine's Day area. I really enjoy the other products they have as well. This varies from food to skin care products. There were a lot of people today at Target(but it's a Sunday) which is reasonable. Also, sometimes the products at Target can be higher than other stores. That is a con for me. I do think that even though Target can be a bit pricier than other stores, it has great pride in its products and wants to make sure each customer gets the best value. Bathrooms are HORRENDOUS!!! (Photos taken on different visits). NO toilet paper EVER!!! In ANY of the stalls! Never fails. NO soap!!!! How DISGUSTING! And their employee said they too have to use these bathrooms. (So they can't wash their hands and then have to touch our items including groceries and PRODUCE!) No toilet seat covers because everyone has to use them for toilet paper. Floors absolutely disgusting covered with filth, trash, and even blood, pee, etc. I realize the patrons trash the place but this level of filth is next level and Target should feel ashamed. This target is not like many other targets I have been to since this one has two levels and about double the self checkout one set of four checkout on each entrance one that is connected to the mall and the other connected to the parking lot. They have newly remodel the food snack area to make it a bit more clean and similar to the more updated targets. And place is very conveniently designed where they put the grocery items towards the parking and clothes towards the mall entrance. If you need to grab food and go it as simple as that. If you're in the mood to do some shopping stop by the clothes area before going in the mall. I hate using target because of their pushing of extreme agenda, especially targeted toward young children. However, once in a blue moon only they will have a specific item in stock. They are the only store in this area that carries a specific ice cream flavor. I ordered 5 pints on their site to be delivered only 2 hours later. The shopper sent me a text they had NONE in stock when they got there, an hour later. I will never shop at target, again. It's not worth it; they are always a massive disappointment. This Target is very hit and miss. I'm general, I can find the items I'm looking for, which is good since that's the reason I'm going to Target in the first place. However, my experience there isn't always satisfactory. A few times now when I enter the store, there are no carts available. They are all outside, so I have to walk all the way back out to grab one. Is it the biggest deal? No, but it is definitely inconvenient. The biggest annoyance with this store is that almost every time I go they NEVER have regular checkout lines open. I almost always have to do self check out which can be a pain when I have a big haul. I know to never buy alcohol here because of this reason, too. Sometimes I'll try to find a worker, but those are sometimes hard to find. I really hope they can figure out the checkout issue. It's one of the main reasons I don't like coming to this Target. This is the only Target I've gone to where LP always makes their presence known. I haven't had this experience at any other Target. At this one though, I am used to it. I know I'm getting profiled for the way I look, obviously I don't look my best all the time. That's my bad, I should probably make a little more effort to be more feminine or dress more socially acceptable, maybe do my hair or my makeup more often. (I'm a Tomboy) But today, I have to leave this review. Despite me ignoring the fact that every time I come here there's some random person acting like a shopper following me around, I never once confronted them or made a big deal out of it because I know they're just doing their job. I just keep doing my own thing & I always try to minimize the attention they're giving me by acting like I don't realize that it's just coincidence we keep crossing paths. But today guys, after I finished shopping & I paid for the items in my basket security followed me to my car. They stayed a distance away, but I felt like that was odd as I've never actually had them follow me all the way to my car. I saw them behind me, I turned around to look at them, then they turned around. I really hoped they had stopped me or told me something though, because I wanted to call them out on their profiling & making my experience every single time unpleasant/uncomfortable. This is one busy two-story Target. It has ample places to park, from a parking garage to ground level parking surrounding it. Be prepared to be enveloped in a large crowd moving haphazardly about with carts driving anything but in a coherent manner. I'd say go in with a defense strategy and you should be able to "survive" just fine. Despite the amount of people and the challenges of movement down aisles and walkways, it is mostly kept well-stocked and clean. There's always ample amounts of employees either stocking the shelves or ready to answer a question. They're friendly and very helpful, especially if you're new to the store. After all, it's size can also be intimidating the first time. Check out is also relatively smooth. They tend to have more registers open than the average Target I've been at and they move efficiently customers in and out of the store. Last, they have plenty of security. They are often stationed at both the mall entrance and the parking area entrance. They give a sense of security while also being friendly and helpful themselves. Overall, I gave this a three star because I averaged out the customer service and the ability to navigate smoothly through the store. The bathrooms also can be hit or miss, sometimes clean and sometimes needing some rescuing. All in all, it's worth a stop if you're in the area. read more

Service: I went to Target at Oakridge Mall in San Jose to purchase an expensive Vacuum Cleaner. The Vacuum Cleaners were locked up like they were jailed. I looked around and didn't see any Target personnel in the vicinity. I understand that there is a lot of shop lifting within our society these days. Why not lock up the shoplifters and leave the merchandise available to easily physically see and touch the item a person wants to purchase. Again, the authorities should lock up the shoplifters. P.S. I would give 0 star if I can for this review. I purchased 31 ($3100 in total) Apple Gift Cards from Target Oakridge T1927, 23 ($2300 worth) are invalid and cannot be redeemed. The tampered gift cards were difficult to open, seems have glue on it. What's the most ridiculous is that Target manager refused to refund customer or provide customer a solution. Basically, Target sells fake items and refuse to refund, it's extremely ridiculous. The target gift card center only tried to drag customer's time as long as they can, but never resolve the issue. They are just hoping customer will forget this case by time or refuse to refund after awhile. I have been a loyal Target customer for years and I really liked this store. This scam broke my heart. Just look at my pictures. Target branch especially at Oakridge Mall did a poor job at their quality control. Their yogurts are expired (boo since I really want that specific brand). This also applies to their Tilamook butter which was already expired as well for few days. This one is convenient for lots of common clothes items and small home items they like to carry lots of. The store is busy as is the company! The uniformity of the chain makes shopping here pretty fast as many things are in similar locations throughout the stores. I've gone to 10 within the chain or so. A complete joke of a store to shop at if you deodorant, body wash and other essentials - it's all locked up due to high theft. I waited over 20 min for someone to come by even while seeing other workers pass by. Finally someone came by dragging their feet as it was such a bother to make them work. I tell her which door I need open and she tells me right away that she can't open it since it's broken and can maybe reach for something. So I'm not even able to shop and browse the items - I was over it and left the aisle. I head to self check out and there are over 5 people standing around saying they can help with check me out - so I could barely get anyone to open a locked door because they were hanging out by the registers chatting it up with their other coworkers.
