I love my local Target location! The place is always organized and clean, and drum roll ......has two entrances! Yes! You can comfortably park anywhere in the lot knowing you can just go straight to the grocery section, or the main entrance with Starbucks at bay. Surprisingly, even their security is friendly! There has been a handful of times we have walked into Target, and Sergio the security officer recognized and greeted us. Shouldn't the employees be doing this instead? He's working two jobs if anything LOL. Anyways, back to the side grocery entrance. The counter for pick ups and self serve registers is located there. This Target is good but can always improve. It's my neighborhood target, my go-to target. However, I have gone out of my way to go to other Targets that I feel been on top of stocking their store. I have also been wrong about that on a couple of occasions. At my neighborhood store, there have been times I go and don't find what I am looking for. For example, One Friday evening all the fries were out of stock. "Did everyone decided to eat fries that night?" Other times, I find just what I need. I have never had a problem with the staff. In fact, they have been helpful when I need them. The store is usually clean. I have learned, if I want a lot of grocery items, I am better off going to Luckys because Target has a portion of what a grocery store has. However, I can find milk, cereal, coffee, and other basic needs items. read more

I don't go to this target as much as I used to since I've moved, but I really loved it! The staff was friendly (although there were always quite a few high schoolers working there and gossiping in the changing area) and it was easy to get in and out quickly. The pharmacy has some of the kindest employees and are always happy to help you. They have a great grocery section and a massive alcohol section right when you walk in. First time at this target location...0 zero stars for order pick up and drive up! 50 minute wait in the drive up space and they still didn't bring my order. Went inside to pick up instead and the old lady that worked around 12pm 10/6/22 was rude when I asked her a question about my order. She just said I just came back from lunch and I'm busy....She literally walked away and didn't let me proceed with my questions. I had been fighting with this branch for 3 MONTHS to restock a grocery item and instead of ordering more they actively thwart me. Reporting online they tell me they're doing away with the item, an item which is perpetually out of stock. The mgmt there are sadistic creeps to torture me instead of just ordering some. THREE MONTHS IN A ROW THE SHELF IS EMPTY ON THE 64 oz. Market Pantry juice and they DO NOTHING after my REPEATED notifications and attempts at contact. The branch mgr there should be CANNED FOR SURE. This used to be one of the best target in all of San Jose and my favorite. I think management changed or something within the last year or two, because it's gone completely down hill. There's never any carts available, things are always out of stock, and most importantly where they use to shine at was always making sure there's enough members at checkout so the lines never got long, but that has changed. I frequent this Target for the sheer fact that it's the closest Tar-jay to my parental unit's house. If it were up to me and if gas prices were more forgiving, I would long have made the treks over to Sunnyvale Target which always seems to satisfy my needs and lessen my anxiety. Let me first start off by saying that this Target serves a large metropolitan area composed of predominantly asian and hispanic folks and because of that coupled with the fact that it's centered in a mecca of delicious asian eateries nearby, there is limited parking here and you'll probably have to park far. It's also usually crowded with patrons and navigating the aisles can be a bit tough. They usually have what I seek here, which is a bonus considering Out of Stocks are so frequent in densely populated stores. Today I was wandering around the makeup aisle and I've found the employees near this area tend to be more helpful than in others. The girl who worked the floor so eagerly walked me around to help me narrow my choices, which if you know anything about personal care and beauty-- it can be quite overwhelming. My go to home location. I've been going to this one for as long as I can remember. The reason I wanted to leave a review now is definitely for the remodel. It looks much more modern and the addition of the liquor section is awesome! This target even opened a entrance/ exit just for the liquor section and have waiting employees ready to assist w/ alcohol purchases. Target in general is always on point w/ pricing, staffing and all. The floor service is accommodating. I've always had friendly encounters w/ the team here. It's great to see Target collaborate w/ CVS for pharmacy purposes and Starbucks. During black Fridays, Target does a good job w/ it's staffing to assist w/ the heavy traffic. I like to give props to Adrianna. I needed a specific item which the first staff wasn't able to find on the shelf but the other Target shows this store has 3 remaining. That staff then walked away. Adrianna overheard us and look on the shelves too. Sure enough it wasn't there. She didn't give up. She asked for description and offered to look in the back. Bam she found it. She went out of her way to make my Christmas dinner festive. First of all why is the Eastside so special to have such a gem of a Target! This is the best Target in probably all of San Jose I cross 3 freeways to come here. THAT SPECIAL. Target that's mostly convenient for everyone who lives around the area. You can find mostly whatever you need here especially after the remodeling that they had just recently done. For some odd reasons I find it a little bit harder to locate things. Maybe because I'm still not used to whole "new" Target yet. X- Some cashiers have a poker face and just seem like they don't like their job, ha. X- The lines can be long; which begs the question.. why don't you guys open more lanes and put on some more cashiers when it gets busy!? -Items seems to be more organized and the items in stock in the back room are starting to come find its way to the empty shelves. -Added more selection of clothing's for the ladies and gents. -The remodeling of the bathrooms looks "fancier" and its a hit or miss to being clean or filthy. -You can find parking anywhere since there's a big parking structure. This place is pretty different to the other Target locations I have been to; the layout is odd... but it is still functional. Parking is a but of a mess, but that's true for all locations. Self check is a mess. You have one employee helping out everyone (and everyone is having problems) and a security guard just standing around. On top of that the restrooms... they were gross. "Bodily fluid" stains and the stall walls and the floor, everything was covered in some sort of wetness. Not much to say about this place but that I was lucky to have come out of it with just a lipstick. Good service, well stocked, clean floors, and good prices here. This is one of the bigger Targets that I've seen too! Parking is a bit difficult but finding one doesn't take too long. So far so good... until... I hate when a place has nasty bathrooms. Okay, when I was there, the restrooms weren't up to par. Lots of stalls were dirty, most didn't have any toilet seat coverings, and some didn't even have toilet paper. Ridiculous! I had a defective item which the cashier offered to have someone to get for me - enter Mikeal with clipboard and walkie talkie... After several minutes, no product... This is now my go to place since we moved a couple months back. I used to go to Walmart all the time because it was closer. But now that we live by target WHY NOT?! The service here is great. Whenever I have a question or need to find something the workers answer and direct me to whatever it is I'm looking for. And if they don't know the answer they always try and find out. Much better than any crummy Walmart. I love how they have sanitizer wipes for the cart. That's always a big plus for me. Cuz I hate getting a cart that's all sticky and dirty. Germs are not friends people. Haha. Anyways besides that the dollar section always has good stuff so keep an eye out for those when you walk into the store. They always have their weekly ads posted on the wall to the right when walking into the store right by the customer service desk. I've tried on a couple of clothes from here and the fitting rooms are very clean. Maybe the cleanest that I've ever since in a department store. Target don't play! But yes. They have everything here that is why this is me n my girls go to store when we need the essentials. They even have a Starbucks n lil food court inside! Be sure to check your receipt cuz sometimes they give out coupons like $1.50 off a Starbucks drink. Always convenient and the selection is pretty diverse -Seasonal Aisle. Pretty big and always reflecting the upcoming holidays, seasons, themes, and occasions.(Christmas here gets crazy). -Home & Bath Furnishings. Now that I'm an adult and have my own place, I'm starting to look into more permanent and quality furnishings, rather than bum free stuff off Craigslist. This Target has a pretty solid selection of chairs, tables, dressers, bookshelves, and other home & bathroom things to decorate your house! On the chart: -Women's clothing. One of the worst Targets that I've been to. Besides it always being crowded, the aisles are messy and they never have anything in inventory. On top of that, customer service at the returns/ online pickup is horrible. The Asian girl was not helpful nor friendly. She gave me grief for sound a price adjustment! I recently bought a bunch of home goods items, which are now additional 10% off. I brought the receipt and tags as I didn't feel like rolling up a 5x8 rug, 1 large vase, planters, throw pillows, etc. She refused to do the price adjustment without the items being present. Are you serious?! Why can't you use the tags? I was irritated that I went home, gathered up everything and returned them. 'Eff that! I'm glad the roommate is from the burbs since I can get a Target run in when we're visiting his family. I had a couple of things to pick up for an upcoming vacation. I love the variety in their Health & beauty and also all the travel sized items I was able to pick up. Since I had a little 3 year old with me, I asked her if she wanted a toy. I told her I'd buy her anything she wanted! We ended up finding a box of seven Disney princesses on sale for around $40. Normally it's about $80! How could I say no? That's less than $6 a doll! I want to start off by saying that I live right between the Target on Cottle and this one. I choose to go to this one though because although parking is horrible, I don't need to hop on the freeway. I love that Target is that "go-to" place for everything. Earlier today, my boyfriend was kind enough to buy me more K-Cups and some creamer. We had a hard time choosing between some creme brûlée flavor and a dark roast blend. We ended up choosing dark!! I love my coffee dark. Then we head to the beer section. He wanted to get a beer and looking for the single bottles was kind of a task because the beers were all mixed up. We went over to the dairy section to grab my favorite creamer, Girl Scout Cookies Coffee Mate! Every. Single. Bottle. had an expiration date of 2014. I was pretty annoyed until my superman came to the rescue and found a November 2014 bottle. Hell yeah! So we check out, Ariana rings us up on the express lane. Another girl had a register open and the duo did a nice job of wiping out their line. We weren't even in line for a minute. Not exaggerating. We drive home and halfway to our destination, I find that the K-Cups we picked up actually expired this month. I'm thinking, "Are you kidding me?" So we head back and try to return the box of coffee to exchange with a new one, but of course, the customers in front of us were being difficult, so we ditched the line and headed back to the coffee. Found a box with an expiration date stating April 2015 and we power walk to the express lane. We waited longer this time, but I was happy that all 4 registers were open. It was packed! 1 star for today's service at the Guest Service Dept. I made a baby registry purchase today but forgot to use the 15% discount coupon for the items purchased. I immediately went over to guest services and was assisted by Rebecca. I am not sure if there was another way she could have applied the 15% or returned 15% to me via credit on a gift card but she made it complicated where I had to return to her my $10 cashback that I had withdrawl from my atm card when paying my balance. After, she made a comment to me that I was taken back. She said "they allowed you to make the purchase on the wipes like that?" I looked at her oddly and she said "that's because people are taking it out of the bulk packages." The Huggies wipes I bought were the 72 quantity with Mickey Mouse packaging. I have been getting these wipes individually and have not seen them in bulk before. I asked her if she was insuating that I am "one of those people" and she said "I am not saying it's you." Really? Then why say it to a customer at all? The items legitimately scanned and I paid for it without any problems. I've been coming to this target since forever.. over 10+ years. I know this store in and out and I love it. I hate the fact that I only plan to get a few things and end up spending sooo much more. I love the fact that they now have the grocery section, but the only down side is that they run out of items very quickly. They also have groceries here now too, like bananas and stuff so they pretty much have everything a Walmart has, minus the dirty aisles, the long lines, the scary people in pajamas and dirty parking lot. read more

Target is where I get the majority of my baking needs! I loooove making cupcakes and decorating & I usually find really good deals on baking cups and my various decorating ingredients, ie cookies, candies, etc. Most of my experiences here have been positive - the staff is great and usually warm when I go to check out. I feel like there are more check out stands here or maybe more workers at the check out stands so it makes the wait time bearable! I also do my Black Friday shopping here. I think this location is one of the best Target locations in my area. It's pretty big and tend to have a good range of merchandise. I usually come here for electronics, groceries, clothing (specifically monthly designers for Target) and cosmetics. It's typically clean and has the newest addition of fresh groceries, they usually carry items that I haven't been able to find at other locations like E.L.F cosmetics and brushes. The service here is pretty fast and workers are informative when asked. Only downside is that you will sometimes run into those crying toddlers, parents yelling out their child's name or ruthless shopping cart pushers. And last but not least the annoying solicitors staking out by the entrance of the store. read more

Ordered online pickup and when I arrived I noticed numerous cars in the online pick up spots. I sat in my spot for 20 minutes before I went inside to check on the status of my order. When I arrived to the counter I asked what the delay was and told them that their pick up lot was full and they responded with "We were just waiting for everyone to get here", while standing there with 4 or 5 carts full of orders ready to go. WTH man?!?! Really?!?! You see when people arrive and you're still going to make them wait? What kind of backwards logic is that? If Target management sees this, today is 12/14 and pick up was around 9:00pm. read more

It's a relief that the line for returns is not that long. It took just 5 minutes to wait in line and 2 minutes to finalize the return. The staff was helpful and respectful. They were wearing masks and gloves, although I didn't see them disinfect the counter after each customer. Looks like getting lax because the number of Covid cases are down. We should still be vigilant though, to really control this virus. read more
