Hygiene needs improvement. The restrooms are always disgusting. I stopped by today and I was in self checkout, and there was something in the floor looked like it was kinda cleaned but not fully. This place is cool. I like how they have two entrances. More retailers need to try this so customers can use the parking lot in a less hectic manner. I also enjoyed pressing the button to notify an employee I wanted to buy an item, what was really cool about it was the 8 minutes it took for the employee to come and unlock it for me, during this 8 minutes I really had a chance to think about myself and if I truly needed this product, my patience paid off and now I am the proud owner of this product. The employee here sucks. The worse customer service I've ever seen in my life, and I work in customer service. I paid for my stuff and walk out, the cart locked itself. I can't move and I grabbed an employee to help. He said he gonna finish the pickup order then he gonna come over. Not even once that he look at me. And I see him come back and forth multiple times. I just came from a Vietnamese bakery shop and decided to stop by at Target which was nearby. This store is large fully stock and well organized. They do have bargains though not as cheap as the one at Walmart (Milpitas) there they have some merchandise locked up in display due to theft whereas here it's not maybe its the location. Best of all the place is very clean and well kept and it wasn't even crowded in the morning and they do have self service checkout no need to wait in line for cashier. There's ample parking best to come by early in the day especially on the weekends traffic is very light at that time of day. read more

WORST TARGET EVER. Came to get something that was locked up in the aisles and asked MULTIPLE associates for help and they all kept paging someone in the department that kept saying they will come but didn't even after 40 minutes of waiting. Came into Target today for an exchange. I didnt have my receipt however the young girl at the customer servise counter was able to help me out. She ran my credit card in the machine and presto there it was. She gave me a refund on a gift card and I was on my way, quick and painless. Its been quite a while since I have been at this Traget because they have totaly redisinged the store and the lay out too. Wow, when did this happen. t looks really nice and the lighting seames to be softer too. I felt like they add alot more gray tones than before. Looks good. read more

A couple weeks ago I came into target and seen my toddler almost pick up what looks to be rat feces off the ground near the toilet paper isle. I tried to find a in store manager but there was none to be found (just like always). Also when I asked an employee they told me to "press a button and wait for someone to come". You would think a location like target would be super clean and rat free especially since I buy my groceries and other food supplies here. Not after this incident. I have been coming to this Target for over 20 years. This location has changed so much and is always under some kind of remodel or renovation. It is one of my favorite Target stores because I know exactly where everything is and I can easily go in and out, or just linger in there for hours and spend way too much money. This particular Target seems to have more of the things I need in stock and easy to navigate. Every now and then, they do run out of things which is understandable since it's in a super busy area. I can always open up the Target app and find another location nearby that would have something I want in stock. Staff at this location have always been helpful and friendly. I guess since it's in a busy area, they have more staff so it's easier to ask for help at this location. I typically go to this Target during off peak hours to roam around and shop and find the most random things sometimes. And then after shopping, I can always grab lots of good food at the nearby restaurants. Win win! read more

The return at this target is a scam. If you return an item without the receipt, they asked to scan the credit card that you used, but their machine couldn't find the receipt. Therefore they have to issue you a a store credit so you buy from them again. I know this because the lady in front of me had the issue. I always use one credit card for purchases but they told that was not the card. They couldn't find the receipt even I showed them the charge on my credit card from my account. I was in the area and decided to stop by to see what's new at the Target (I actually had a few items I needed, LOL)! I walked in and noticed the customer service station off to my right was open. A few of the locations I've been to have the customer service area under construction. While browsing the store I noticed how neat and tidy the store was. Employees were wearing a mask and filling the floor with inventory. All the workers were working fast to get the shelves full. I found the items I needed and noticed the layout of this store is kind of like a Forever 21 store. It's nice! I walked up to the register and an employee guided me to the empty self checkout area. I ended up price matching an item at customer service. The employee price matched my item quickly and I was on my way. The store is clean, organized, and well stocked. Haven't been to this Target in years, and they seemed to have really fixed it up since I've last been here. I would say this is easily the best Target in the San Jose area. It's a bit on the larger side so there is a lot of room to move around. They seem to have a bit more than the usual Target, which is also good. Parking is a bit limited though, so be prepared for that. Overall, a decent spot. read more

This Target is okay. However, it sometimes shut down. A few weeks ago it shut down because someone set fire in the middle of Target. Honestly, what is wrong with people? Why do you have to do that? Cleaner than other nearby Target stores. There are not enough floor team members to assist shoppers as we cruise down the aisles. Merchandise is placed neatly by sections but the store is way too spread out -- and quite frankly, too strategically staged to make the average consumer (i.e., me) buy everything in sight. *Sigh* I despise Target runs for that reason. Staff are of the younger workforce. Still needs a lot of training around soft skills and customer service etiquette across the board. Security team at the front are always busy chatting and laughing, and not really paying attention to folks running in and out of the entrance and exit doors. Parking is tight and shopping carts are often covered in sticky residue from soda spills. read more

They don't bother to maintain the women's restroom. The stalls either don't lock or don't have toilet paper in the ones that actually have a working slide bolt. There are paper toilet seat liners piled up in almost every stall all over the floor... and poop splatters. read more

One of the BEST target locations in San Jose. Target has always been my TO GO store when I need a simple item (since Whole Foods sometimes is a far distant): ). Place is very well kept. Employees are usually very nice and willing to step out of their way to help you. Lots of parking space offered but still seem to not be able to find parking. They just remodeled the place so it looks and feels so modern (whole food vibes). Items are always kept clean and tidy. Not too loud which is a MAJOR plus! I made a registry which took place on October 12th and not everyone is technology savvy so more than half of my guests marked the item they purchased off the registry as "purchased" but they failed to apparently scan a code prior to checking out; which I wasn't informed on how to do, I was only told that to make a registry, it's online now. So I had a few items to take back since I received double but the manager in charge, named Amparo said that there was nothing on her end that she could do to assist me since my guests didn't scan the code! She stated, "unless you ask them for the receipt" LIKE FOR REALS!?! Who in the world would ever ask anyone for their receipt to return their gift, like come on, that's common sense. Useless trip and although it's the closes Target to me, I WILL NEVER GO BACK. I rather drive the extra mile. read more

I always use drive-up pick up with this location since the registers are always busy and self check out is always full. I love their other options for pick up, but today I rolled up seeing Eddie running in and out of the store, ensuring folks at the drive up parking spaces were in and out quickly. His service was great, and he is very friendly. I have always had a good experience with this Target location. As for the inside, items are always stocked nicely making your shopping list a breeze to check off. The workers here are very dedicated and also know how to provide great customer service! read more

It's always a lovely time being profiled while shopping. You'd think that folks would be more conscious of openly watching the only black person shop and purchase items. To be clear, to the young lady at the register...you need to work on the art of discretion. It's very obvious when you've stood at your register while droves of individuals pay for their things to then reposition yourself behind me when I approach the register to pay. Darling girl, that is NOT at all discreet. I'd love to offer my services and provide the opportunity to support your staff in reflective practice on prejudice and implicit bias so that you can improve the customer experience for EVERYONE and not just those who look like the employees. read more

Yah, it's Target. Do I really need to yelp this place? Why yes.. It's the closest location to my house and it's my "go to" for all of my pharmacy needs. For a while, I was wondering if there was going to be an end to all of the construction. Much of the parking lots were blocked off for storing materials and dumping during the renovation. Between you and me, it was a hot mess. Parking was getting sparse during peak times and I was beginning to wonder whether or not they would get it together. But on my most recent trip I was happily surprised. Starbucks got a complete refresher with new floors, back splash and new countertops. All the tables were replaced. The clothing department had a major rehaul with the all of the kids/ babies, and women's departments moved around. Everything just took on a more "modern" look where things were made to be more visually appealing. (Therefore making you want to shop more than usual..) Grocery/ Beverage departments also took on a new look with new floors and reorganization. Basically the store just got a complete cosmetic facelift and I'm grateful for all of it. And yes, the parking lot is almost completely open now. Yay for parking! read more

This is probably the only target that has a pretty cool set up area for alcohol but the only downfall is that it is on the side of the entrance where you can only self check out, meaning you're not allowed to check out alcohol. So you have to walk all the way to the other side of the store to check out, but that's not the worse part. The worse part is that there are hardly ever any cashier opens so you have to wait in a long line just to check out 1 item. They should definitely do something about major inconvenience. read more

Good days and bad days. Depends on who is in charge at the time to get things going (as in the lines for checkout). I go here for convenience because it's close to my workplace. Pricing is all corporate so you can't really complain. But something I learned in the past. Depending on your location, each Target will price things differently... For example, some have promotional things like iPads sold at a certain price and if it was sold out at that location, not all Targets have them at that promotional price. Surprising? Yeah. read more

She told me to wait in line which was the self check out line, I didn't think much of it. So when it was finally my turn I walked up to the order pick up station, and she was like no not you, and pointed to my friend who just came along with me and said she would help my friend...... um.... what about me??
