I use to go to this target alot when I lived closer. Like most of the reviews parking could be a problem & it is much busier here. It's fairly clean. Prices are great. I love that the set up is similar to all targets. The only thing I dislike is when your done shopping there is always someone there asking for a donation. I just left this Target and had a pleasant experience with Valeria and Astiana! Valeria helped me with a return and called the stock room clerk to grab a steam mop for me. The whole process and wait time took less than 5 minutes. Valeria was super helpful and nice. Astiana came and helped with a price adjustment. She was also super helpful, nice, and accommodating. Conveniently located with plenty of parking. Quite often there are panhandlers in front of the store, and carts can be grungy. Getting past that, I find that this store well stocked and organized. I like hitting the Starbucks located inside the store before shopping. The customer service is satisfactory. Really liked it when they added the new grocery section. The produce is so so, but you can pretty much find all the basics here. Lines can get long depending on what time of day you go, but there are usually plenty of cashiers working to keep lines moving. read more

I stopped by Target to make a quick return. It was the afternoon and the return line was a bit long. They were able to take my return and I was on my way. I shopped around in the store and found everything I needed. They don't offer bags anymore but if you provide you own, they will give you a 5 cents discount. read more

This store is okay! Just your run-of-the-mill department store with the everyday items; there's nothing bad to say and not too much good. One plus is the items scanners, which they now upgraded to where you can search items within the store as opposed to having to carry a single item and scanning it under--super convenient! I go to a variety of targets pretty much daily ! I have a target problem lol I go for one thing and leave for many unnecessary things. This target is always so clean and maintained . They have so much alcohol , grocery selection ! Not many targets carry the same items. I know for a fact when I'm looking for my Carmel macchiato creamer from Starbucks this target location carries it all the time . The kids clothing selection has much more the most targets with all sizes so I get my girls clothes from this location . read more

This Target let's its employees into the store before opening to buy as much FunKoPop as they want and tells their customers it's only one per person. I bet it's to resale them. I have witnessed multiple times that they sell newly released Pops to their employees with discounts and tells customers they sold out or only put out a couple of the collections to be sold to public. Only went to this Target because there was almost a two hour wait at Boiling Crab and we just needed a place to chill LOL We were starving already so my sister and I split a personal size pizza from their Pizza Hut stand inside. The pizza was good but the lady working there said they didn't give out water cups? Average Target, nothing that really sticks out. This Target location had a similar (if not the same) layout as the Target on Coleman. I came here with my friend because he wanted to look for the PS3 deal he saw online. We quickly went through the whole store as we walked towards the electronics section in the back. The aisles were somewhat organized and it was probably because there were a lot of people trying to do last minute shopping or something. We reached the electronics section and it was about the size of other Targets. Unfortunately, they didn't have the PS3 deal because they were sold out. We also looked at digital cameras since my friend was looking to upgrade his current one. The selection wasn't great but I wouldn't expect it to be; however, the prices were competitive with other places that sold the camera according to what my friend told me. I had the most awful experience with a manager who had a chip on her shoulder and a bad attitude. I was trying to use a baby formula coupon which i had done for the past years without a single issue , at the same store no less. I also had 1 year old and 3 year old in the cart, for the most part well behaved and not crying but needed some attention to. The register they were using wasn't taking the coupon, and so the manager was called. The machine was chewing it up and i guess from being pulled too. I asked if its possible if we can use a different machine and the manager got really defensive. She tried the same thing for a long time without success, and returned the coupon all tattered up, with 1 cm rips alongside the edges, and said it cannot be used, so now the 20 coupon is most likely gone. Here is the oddly and weirdly unprofessional part I havent seen at a target and I have been shopping here a long time. I was handed back the coupon and was asked if I still wanted the formula. I said no, thinking I go try at another Target. For some reason, my answer really riled her because her face showed obvious contempt, and I have no idea where this come from. At this point she asked where the other one is. There isn't another one, but the one already in her hand.. I had other items and wanted to only return the formula, but instead of ringing me up, they wanted me to go back of the already piling up and long line, with two kids in tow. At no point had I raised my voice , and had only asked about maybe the register being broken. It turns out, they couldn't check me out because the register was broken after all, and I was sent to the back at the now newly open counter. You can imagine my exaperation at this point, and so I went to self checkout. The same manager went back to the self checkout where I saw another unprofessional encounter with another customer. The customer was trying to return an item that was pricer than expected because it didn't have a price tag to look at. This same manager was chastising the customer for taking it , and wanting to return it. The poor lady was very uncomfortable, and seemed surprised too at the rudeness. Like this type of interaction doesn't require this kind of hostility , and is of normal expectancy for a store? It appears this manager cannot handle situations that are slightly out of the ordinary. read more

It's clean. It's always stocked. Line managers are always directing us to the line that would ring is up in a timely manner. Surprisingly, lots of wine to choose from. And cold beers. Snack, brand wise-- there's a new one on the shelf called "simply balance" it appears healthier and sounds healthier with a low target price. You can find them from milk, to rice cakes to frozen meat in the freezers. Parking lot is a bit confusing with the stop sign, as it's painted on the pavement but it on that red sign. BEWARE !!! YOUR CAR MIGHT GET TOWED. This store lets its employee calls towing service when the parking is barely half full every single day. My car got broken. So I left my car at the parking of this Target for 2 hours yesterday ( I chose the less crowded corner which is located very far from the door of to park my car. So my car won't disturb the operation of its business) When we came back, our car already got towed (and this happens within 2 hours only) My family and I are frequent customers of Target. Hello was just at Target on 3155 Silver Creek Rd, San Jose, CA 95121. There were lots of customers waiting in line to pay. Including the self check kiosk on both ends. With only two cash register were open. I asked the Manager if she could open up another lane. Since are so many people waiting to pay. I believe the Manager name is Danielle. She replied in a rude tone that I just have to wait. She is not going to open another cash register because she is short on staff. I ask that she can open one herself since she the "MANAGER". SHE replied " it's not my job!" Wow, I'm speechless. I asked for her name or her business card so I can let corporate know. She replied " I'm not going to give it to you." Then walked away. Worst customer service! First, I brought in a box of diapers to exchange for a different brand, customer service said that I am unable to receive a full price gift card that I would have to do an even exchange or they would only offer me an amount $6 less than the cost of the box. So I had to carry around a giant box of diapers and my twin stroller. I spent 20 minutes trying to track some one down in the diaper department. I asked someone stocking across the isle in dry market and they said they couldn't help me because they are not in that department for stocking. I then walked through every isle again in the baby isles looking for whoever was supposed to be in this section and couldn't find anyone. Then again I went to the person stocking Dry market and asked him to radio some one for help. Waited another 10 minutes in the diaper isle for the person to come tell me that they don't have the diapers i am looking for even though on the target app and on her device said there are 4 on hand. She then proceeded to tell me she could not go back into receiving to look for it. My husband works for target. I know that this is just pure laziness. So instead of offering help or any kind of solution she just didn't want to help until I caused a fuss about it. Then couldn't find what I was looking for because everything was flexed into wrong locations which means that the ones that say are on hand are probably back stocked without being located. Which is costing your location money if you have product and can't find it. It's an inconvenience for me as a customer to go to my local target and not find things. Especially when I look ahead on apps to see if you have it. I have newborn twins and a six year old so you can imagine it's quite an adventure to get out of the house to get necessities like diapers. Now I am driving to another target in hopes to find newborn huggies. This is ridiculous. You guys need to get more organized your losing business. read more

Went here to get some school supplies. I heard a few people complaining that Target doesn't have a whole variety of stuff. I mean, they were right. Target doesn't have all of the things that we would need. Unrelated to this Target, I got a terrible bout of what I can best describe as food poisoning from a different business the evening before I came here and what I walked into at this Target was a bathroom that looked the way that bout of food poisoning made me feel the night before. 100% the jankiest Target I've ever been to. Filthy as f*ck. So filthy that I didn't even bother getting the items I came in for (cleaning supplies) because it was clear that this Target doesn't use them. First sign was the front women's bathroom with door propped open by a broken shopping cart and strains of toilet paper draping the entirety of the floor of this pretty sizable bathroom. Then the first stall I tried to use had the lock completely busted off the door. The second stall I half walked in to had an entire roll of toiler paper clogging the bowl and puddled up and out of the toilet. The third and only other open stall had a lock that was busted but it was clear someone had attempted to hammer on a make-shift latch so the door would lock from one side. When I went to wash my hands... which almost seemed pointless given how dirty the bathroom was, The available sink had an old partially dried lime slice sitting next to the sink handles. Given the state of rot, it had definitely been there a while... why? Bathroom margaritas? Who knows? But I'm pretty sure someone is supposed to check on the cleanliness of the bathroom every hour and that certainly isn't being done here. Also in that sink was build up of what had to have multiple different meals because there was a carrot slice and what looked like seaweed bits from an instant miso soup packet. I tried moving over to the next sink when it opened and the soap dispenser was either broken or empty. After that I had to just leave before I felt the urge to buy cleaning supplies for this Target at this Target because it's clear they're unfamiliar with their existence. I will say I should have known going in when I saw that half the parking lot lights are completely broken, leaving the area feeling extremely unsafe and of the over 20+ lights in the entire lot, only one had all three functioning bulbs. Even the giant Target Pharmacy sign on the exterior of the building had letters burnt out. If they're gonna let it run into the ground like this they should just go the extra mile and bulldoze the whole thing because right now it's closer to being a pile of rubble than a functioning retail venue. read more

This Target can be a hit or miss at times, depending on when you go and also the time you go as well. Target is always convenient because they offer so many different items, from groceries, to toys, home goods and even alcohol. It's my place to go for a one stop shop. I had to run in to get some cough medicine and cough drops this time, so it was an in and out kind of thing. Except everytime I come to any Target, I tend to wander off and start looking at things that I really don't need. Target is probably one of my places to go as therapy, I love to shop and I just absolutely love Target. This location is pretty clean, things aren't messy and all over the place. Each section is where it should be. Staff are friendly, sometimes you get the really nice ones and sometimes no one says anything to you. My girlfriend and I come here pretty often just to kill time and buy some snacks. Well ... I buy snacks, she goes to the cosmetics and always find something new to buy. The possibilities here are endless, it has everything; food,games, movies, automotive, clothes, underwear,socks, long socks, toe socks you name it ! Pros - Big store and it is very clean. You can practically walk around forever and find some interesting stuff or even prices that catch your eyes. There is a Starbucks inside the store so if you are feeling tired and thirsty from walking around so much. Grab a cup of good ol Joe and if your hungry, there is PIZZA HUT inside ! Cons - They have like ... 15 lines but they only open like 5. So the lines are usually very long. I don't understand it, I see other workers walking around doing nothing while there's lines that need to be filled with a worker ! I go here at least once a week to purchase something especially $5 MOVIES ! Gotta love that.
