***This is a typical Target with a good selection of products from household items to snacks and such; service was good on my two visits*** Free parking is available in a lot at the front of the store or via an underground structure. read more

I get it now, I Iove Target. So let me set the record straight, I've always liked target. But realistically speaking, I only really went here for random home decor and the occasional clothing apparel. But now I'm a believer in their mad noms. I used to do pretty much 100% of my grocery shopping at Schnucks across the street. Until I decided "Hey, I might as well check out Targét (as the french say). They have some nice stuff." And now I grocery shop at 2 PLACES. Target has amazing treats, snacks, and all around junk food that every soul needs in their life. They have a better and tastier selection than Schnucks, that's for sure. Plus they have a wider selection of La Croix flavors to fuel my addiction. I won't tell you my favorite otherwise I'd be doing myself a disservice. The more for me the better. If you've never been to target for food than you're missing out. Check it out! read more

The Target to which all others must be compared. If only because it's in south St. Louis, five minutes from my house, and not out in some awful 'burb-tastic shopping plaza. But that's not the only reason, really. It's a nice store, too. Clean and bright and well cared for, with a groovy shopping-cart escalator down to the basement parking garage (which is huge in these hot STL summers). Also, major props to Target for putting a real Target in the city, unlike the few other national retailers that still have stores in the Lou proper, who tend to skimp more than a bit on the merchandise (hello, downtown Macy's?), meaning you've got to hit their county branch for the full selection. Not here. This Target is the real deal. And good for them. read more

Well let's start with the underground parking, FANTASTIC! Even though today was not bad outside it was still cool. I went to return a water bottle and the return process was super easy and quick (no line and I have my receipt!). I was offered cash or back to my card, which was nice. I wandered around the store a while and everything was nice and clean. I had never seen an escalator for carts.. wish I had gotten a picture. It was cool. read more

Target - Department Stores Near Me - Saint Louis, Missouri

Inside is fine but if you do order pick up from the car expect to wait at least 25-45 minutes every time. This most recent time I was picking up a single roll of wrapping paper and waiting in the car for 50 minutes. read more

If you ever are trying to get a hold of me and can't, just come to this Target. I'll likely be there. I'm there at least once a week and just like everyone else, I go in for wrapping paper and come out with $85 worth of items. Ever since they added the grocery section, this Target is NEARLY a one-stop shop. I usually come to stock up on hygiene and cleaning items, but always peruse the grocery section because you do find some good deals. FYI - This particular store doesn't sell alcohol. They do have a Starbucks inside and free wi fi. Here is my # 1 and # 2 tips for saving money here (or at any Target for that matter): 1. Download the free cartwheel app. You can pre-chose your items before you go or scan them in the store and it gives you a percentage off certain items. Nearly all Target-brand items are on there and some name brands. It produces a code on your phone and they scan it when you check out. 2. Get the Target Red Card. It doesn't have to be a credit card. You can link it to your debit, as I did. When you use it, you automatically save 5% off your bill. Combining it and the cartwheel app always saves me at least $5.00 per shopping trip, which is way better than any coupon you can cut. Ok, now that I'm finished geeking out over the savings potential, I should tell you my only gripe about this store is that the cart receptacles in the parking lot are few and far between, so you always have to hike it to find one or be a hoosier and leave your cart on the curb. Other than that, I love this place! read more

Target is my favorite store. You know I hit them all at one time or another! On a very early visit on a Tuesday morning this Target won my heart because they had legal sized hanging file folders in their office section when the Walmart I had just been to was out of them. Yay Target! read more

How can you leave Target without spending $100? That is always my challenge. I seem to find some makeup product or waffle that I couldn't live without. They simply have almost everything. The staff is normally on top of things and they always are willing to call extra people to the front line to help ring when it's busy. But when it's busy, they're not so much paying attention to ringing you out as they are calling up more people to ring, or checking other persons bags who set off the alarm, causing you to be double charged for some items. All in all a great store - just don't go on the weekends. read more

I have converted from the other side. This Target location is a cool mile from my house, and it is where we go now. If you are patient enough to use Cartwheel, coupons, and your Redcard, you can save money and pay the same price as Walmart with way better customer service. That is why this location gets a five from me. The customer service is actually really great. If I have a return, they take care of it fast and without attitude. When I have asked questions to employees, I felt they genuinely took care of me. That honestly keeps me coming back! That and the popcorn the kids eat while we shop. read more

I love Target and this store is fine with the exception of the electronics department. Tried to buy a tv but soon gave up after not really receiving much help...in fact the man helping me just walked away mid conversation. I left frusterated but will most likely be back. read more

This is my second most frequented Target. I usually come here when the Target on Brentwood is out of stock of something or when there are a million people shopping there. I feel like I can actually breath down the aisle at this Target. In comparison to the one on Brentwood, this Target is much bigger and wider in many aspects and you do not feel like you are getting run over by other shoppers. I like that they offer a parking garage which comes in handy when it is snowing and raining. The only downfall about this Target is that they do not sell Alcohol. What Target does not sell Alcohol?? No wine, no beer, nothing!! Its odd but an employee said that it had to do with the area and the licensing of Alcohol. So if you need wine, go to Brentwood. If you need anything else, come to Hampton. read more

This certainly is not the best Target ever, but it's not the worst, either. It was updated several years ago with a giant parking garage and better lighting in the parking lot, which I appreciate. And it has decent pedestrian access, which is great for St. Louis Hills and often is forgotten about during construction. And this location will be getting a full-blown grocery section with fresh fruit and whatnot in October; that's always a plus (Right now, it just has your normal shelf groceries and frozen foods). The only thing that prevents me from calling this a mega-awesome Target is the clearance section in the women's/juniors' department. It's just never organized well. Things are thrown everywhere, nothing is categorized by size or color, and the discounts aren't as great as they are at the Brentwood or Town & Country stores. I realize that customers often are to blame for clothes being on the floor and that employees can't follow everyone around and immediately clean up after them. However, having some basic size organization shouldn't be out of the question. I'm much, MUCH more likely to browse longer and find more things to buy if I can find the "small" section instead of hunting through 40 tops that might not fit me. That said, this location seems to discount home furnishings (towels, placemats, etc.) a bit better than the other area Targets. I really need to keep a spreadsheet of which Target is best at what. read more

This is my favorite of all my Targets (I have three). I love that I can always get great parking, even during the holidays. I went to their early sale for Xmas and they had people walking around from the Starbucks giving out little cups of coffee. That was unexpected and very welcome! read more

The crown jewel of this target is the Pharmacy. I have yet to have a bad experience with the employees there. They are consistently helpful, friendly, and in pretty good moods. I really appreciate that. The rest of the store? It's your typical Target. Nothing fancy. The employees are relatively helpful, a few of them more than average, a few less than average. And one or two who are just stellar at what they do. read more

This Target is great. Much prefer to go here than other big-box stores like the Walmart off of Hanley. The place is clean, bright, and it's always been easy for me to find help when I'm searching for a product. Prices are pretty decent and the grocery section has been good to me as well. I make the long, bumpy pilgrimage down Hampton once every week or so to pick up odds and ends here, and have never left unhappy! read more

Anytime I come to this Target, I spend no less than $100. It is a habit. I come in for maybe 2 or 3 things and end up leaving with 7 or 8 and $100 less in my bank account. I'm not sure why Target has this affect on me but it does. I'm sure many people sympathize with me on this and especially since it appeals a typical Yelper's demographic. I mean, who shops at Wal-Mart anyway am I right? Today though, today was different. In a stunning twist of events I actually walked out of here spending less than a $100. How much less you say? 31 cents under $100. Yes. I win Target. I really do like this Target location and have been shopping here since before they knocked it down and built it back up. They have a lot of parking plus the garage underneath the store. The only thing that this store, and others suffer, 20 lanes, 3 open. I do end up going into the express line a lot because I'm not buying a lot of stuff there, but I am usually buying expensive stuff (razors, toothbrush heads, etc). Not that Target can do anything about it but there is an annoying red light camera at Chippewa and Hampton. Just be careful going through it. I much prefer this location to the Brentwood location. read more

I give Target three stars simply because it is a chain that serves a purpose. This' particular location leans closer to four stars. In all honestly - out of all the retail stores out there.....Target probably ranks close to the top of the list....far better than Wal-Mart by all means. My beef with Target is that sometimes I question the quality of some of their goods in comparison to their prices - namely the ones found in home decor/accents. Some of the items I've looked at were cheaply made - uneven, damaged, or compromised in some way or another. What I do like is shopping for random clothes at Target. I actually found a great pair of jeans that are sold exclusively through Target (Denizen by Levi's). I love Levi's and decided to give these a chance. They have a decent selection of most styles and sizes and great bargains as seasons come and go. The dollar racks by the front door are a trap! Avoid them at all costs or you will be consumed by them....never to be heard from again. I kid - they have some cool, cheap stuff from time to time. Great place to look for quick stocking stuffers during the Xmas madness. The Bodega section is also handy for buying discounted bulk items. Most of the general clothing and random goods are fairly priced. There is usually very little wait at this location, which is a definite plus. They have lot and garage parking - ample space to park your ride. The store is generally hectic but not too overly annoying. I have never had a bad experience with any associate - most are friendly and helpful. The customer service folks are quick and efficient. There is usually very little wait when returning goods. This particular location is dangerously convenient. Target is one of those stores that give shoppers a love/hate relationship. I am sure I will return time and time again but generally have a good idea of what to purchase and what not to purchase. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service. My brother who has a medical condition and can not wear a mask was refused service and told that he couldn't bring in his service dog. I do not recommend this location as I'm a long target customer. And the shoe department was a mess. read more

Targets are always so much better than a Wal-Mart. Every time I go into a Wal-Mart, I feel like claustrophobic and that shelves are just going to topple onto me. This Target is always very clean. While not being a Super Target, the grocery area is always well-stocked with a reasonable enough variety of products, that I can often skip a true grocery store run. read more

I've shopped at this store for years (before and after the remodel). It is now easily my favorite store to shop at. First, the parking is great. You can park at street level or there's a parking garage below. Never had to circle to find a spot. It has expanded its grocery section and includes fresh fruit, vegetables, meats and the normal items you find at a mini-grocery store although it doesn't have the selection of a Wal-Mart. That comment applies to almost everything. You'll find some of what you're looking for, but other stores may have a wider variety. Because of that, I've subtracted one star. This store has a handy cart escalator so you don't have to wait for the elevator if you've parked on the lower level. There's a Starbuck's at the front of the store. There's nothing I love more than the smell of Starbucks coffee wafting through the store. During the holidays, they have enough checkers to keep the lines moving fairly quickly. Prefer this store to all similar stores that I've been to. read more

I would be lost without this Target! Its convenient, clean, well stocked and has friendly staff. I would be hard pressed to improve anything other then their pharmacy which is slow. The clientele is interesting at this locale also. Be prepared to see everything from sweet old ladies to trashy slobs who think thread bare pajama pants are suitable attire to wear shopping. Putting up with the parade of crazy is yet another reason to applaud the work of the employees at this great store. read more

Went in originally to pick up a online order so while I was there just decided to go get s ok me bibs for my son I will be having soon and the employee Ashley I believe that works in the baby department kinda was rude and I noticed the bibs where hanging in the wrong spot and I asked do Target honor the price since they all where in the wrong spot she said no we just move then so when I went to the front to ask they paged the manager in that department to ask which was her and she lied and stated that I never asked her that which was false i use to pick Target over Walmart here lately I've just been having problem after problem but the way she was doing her job then just blowing it off like it didn't matter wasn't ok at all she doesn't need to be a manager if that's how she walks around acting with customers read more

Dirty store. Clothes all over the floor, shelves disorganized. Not enough cashiers. And to top it off, both the women's and the family bathrooms were disgusting. What's not to love about Target? They generally have everything that i need. Its hard to come here without spending at least $100.

My neighborhood Target. While the store is usually very clean and organized, the staff is usually pretty short when asked questions and the younger cashiers are often on their phones, which I don't usually have an issue with as long as you aren't ignoring your customers. Overall, it's a chain department store. I love Target, so I will definitely still be there spending way too much money. I also hope they start selling alcohol soon! read more

Target meets most of your household needs, and this one has covered parking and a Starbucks inside.

Love the location, love love love the parking garage. Even before the grocery remodel, I'd stop here just to avoid the weather and now I go just because it's as close to one-stop as I'm gonna get without driving to a Walmart. (and I am almost always far too lazy for that) I took away one star because there's never a lot of cashiers and I have a special skill at getting into the slowest lines possible. They are pretty good at rounding up extra cashiers when it piles up but if it's not Christmas, it seems like it has to pile up pretty good before it happens. The expanded grocery section is almost always enough for our household because I don't cook all that often and don't require a lot of fresh ingredients. They have a decent selection of fruit and baked goods. For the most part, the store is organized, minus some parts of the clearance sections but I've worked retail and customers tear through those things like animals. It can be hard to keep up so I don't judge. The employees I encounter in the aisles are generally friendly and ask if I need assistance so that's nice. I rarely need any but it's nice to see the red shirts and know they're there if I do. Like a lot of others, I almost never leave here without spending almost $100. I think that's the magical Target number because that seems to be what everyone says. The Target debit card I recently acquired that saves me 5% has only expanded my love for them. Overall, I love it because again, close to home and has what I need. The parking garage is a huge bonus and the buggy escalator is fun to show people who've never seen one. read more

I generally like shopping at Target, and I'm a fan of this one. My wife and I are probably there about 3-4 times a week, so we have a good amount of experience at this location. There are some employees that are just intolerable, but for the most part the people are nice and professional. The store is always clean, and I always feel safe in the shopping center. The location is also great--near a Bed, Bath & Beyond, Trader Joe's, and liquor store. The parking lot can sometimes get a little hectic, but when that happens I just park on the side of the store near Eager Rd. to avoid the congestion. read more
