In these inflationary times - why would a shopper not go to Costco, Walmart, Aldi's, Sam's, Schnuck's Ladue, etc... All these stores in the newer Ucity location seem to be priced to pay for the costs of building rather quickly. I can't see how Target, Dilberg's, etc.. are going price for sustainability in the long run. Shoppers are looking for loyalty, value, discounts & budget friendly shopping. I started to browse the racks; I came specifically for a pair of dress pants. The store seemed to mostly hold casual wear and it was not very easy to identify sections of casual wear, business attire, etc. I'm not sure if it is just this location or all of Lane Bryant, but finding any business attire was difficult as most of the clothing seemed to be just tops (not blouses) and loungewear. Of what was priced, the prices seemed astoundingly high and not even everything had a price. As I browsed, I made my way deeper into the store near the counter where I saw two employees talking to each other. As I continued, they greeted other guests who'd come in that were of similar skin tone as them, but not myself or the few other women that had my skin tone. I found a few pairs of slacks that might work, so I approached the staff to inquire on fitting rooms. I was told to just pick a room and she pointed toward a corner of the store. I pulled a few pants off the rack in the fitting room also, where you hang what didn't work out, as it was quite full. That fitting room rack is actually where I found the pair that I ended up purchasing. I made the purchase solely in that I didn't feel like going to more stores and the pants I found should work. I am going to try them on again at home and they may be returned because I don't feel they're worth the price. I'll NEVER return to THIS Lane Bryant or ANY again.

There is plenty of parking outside but it can get pretty hectic when the parking lot is crowded as it makes it difficult to maneuver getting out.

However sometimes when the stores get super crowded and the checkout line is wrapped literally around the store, it becomes challenging to see the full scope of everything that is on display. Recently I went on a Saturday afternoon and walked out of two really popular stores simply because they were way too crowded and the long lines were a deterrent. Says a lot about the stores though. Please take into account that the Dollar Store has gone up a bit so most staples can range between $1.25-$1.75 which is still cool with me as long as I can grab what I need at an affordable price compared to the grocery store and get out. The selection is very good and they keep the store neat. Also, this is one of the few Dollar Stores that sells the Sunday Post Dispatch paper.
