VERY UPSET, I got a target pick up from here and the bags I was handed had BLEACH on the outside of them!!! They ruined my $100 leggings and I was inhaling the unsafe chemicals in my car with my windows up for 10 minutes, putting my health at major risk. I was offered a $10 compensation in store and told to call target customer service if I wanted further assistance. $10 to compensate for property damage AND chemical exposure?? What a joke! My wife and I came here to stock up more toilet paper in case the world ends. No I'm just kidding but we did buy some toilet paper. There's no way of being picky, only two brands to pick from; theirs and another one I forgot the name. I saw a huge line and ask the employee what's that line for and he told me, "it's for any sanitary items." We needed to get some more hand sanitizer. The employee said in 15 minutes they will let us know if he have it or not. We got in the line and I believe 15 minutes later, Target said they had no more! I felt so bad because there were people in line for over an hour! This is my suggestion when anyone is planning to buy household items, please please get it if you absolutely don't have any more at home and leave it to the people that do need it! I haven't done a store pickup here in a year or so and forgot that i always avoid this store because it takes forever to get help. In addition most of the time they have to grab my order from a different storage area which takes a few minutes vs other locations. This time around there were no employees to help 4 of us in line at the service desk so after two minutes of waiting I left the store after buying some Kleenex. I typically buy pharmacy and cleaning stuff and most things are overpriced but stuff I can grab now if I have time to wait in line but this time around I've had it with the lack of an associate to help anyone. I don't like being held hostage when I already bought the stuff but there's no associate to grab it. I suspect I might get better service with Drive Up instead sadly. If I have to goto Target I'll go to Walnut or La Habra instead. read more

Target is Target. Sometimes it can be a shit show but you'll still find me slowly browsing the aisles and smelling the candles. The employees can be nice, and it's obvious they're working hard. If they're not nice, most of the time I don't give it a second thought - retail jobs are tough. I got my tampons and scented candles, who cares. What I do notice though - in terms of service, is that one of the front end managers is usually pretty damn cordial to customers, like really nice! -- but his tone/demeanor suspiciously changes when you're Asian. I love shopping at target but there is this lady at the self check out who is just rude and bad at customer service. She is mid age, short hair, and would keep on telling you to use Target Circle. During the first encounter, she didn't want to honor the lower price at the shelf. We told her the shelf price was lower. She then used her cell phone to scan the item and said "no, you were charged the right price". (Dah! Of course you would scan the same price. The issue is with the shelf price which is what I look at when I shop.) My husband had to go to the shelf to take a picture of the shelf price. Are you kidding me? They should go the shelf themselves. What kind of customer service is this. This is just lazy. Second time (today), I went through the self check out again. In the middle of me scanning items, the same lady walked over and pointed at my cart to ask if I scanned all those. I responded not yet. Then I keep on noticing her watching over my shoulder like she is making sure I scanned my items. Seriously? I love Target but these two experiences were just so bad that I have to leave a review. If I can give zero stars, I would. Service has always been good when I come into this target. Selection has also been consistent with variety. I come in because value is always top tier. I have been bringing my service dog inside the store for years and have not gotten a complaint nor been told to not do so. Today, September 5th,2023, I was asked by a male employee by the name of Grant who worked assisting the self checkout area, if my dog was a service dog. As I recall, customers have always been able to bring their pets into Target without getting scolded. The pick-up employee working at the pharmacy with the huge thick lashes that are about to fall off her eyes was rude! I needed my prescription transferred from another CVS and she told me that I had to do it myself. I didn't understand her. I told her I always do this go to the pharmacy and tell them I have a prescription ready at another CVS, but since I'm here, I'd like to pick it up. They always transfer it. She told me to call the other pharmacy and have it sent. I told her that she was supposed to do that. I then went to Zane, who is the real pharmacist who assisted me. He is very polite and knowledgable. Then I saw her telling another employee that I requested my prescription from another CVS pharmacy (like I'm the idiot here) and the other employee told yeah big eyelash girl that she could have taken care of it. This is the nearest Target to me but I hate their customer service. Every time we go here, there is always an issue with our return or exchange. In fact, we've been to this store a couple of times to be told we can't return/exchange something and then go to another nearby store to try again, since the employees here seemed so incompetent, and then have no issues at all with our return or exchange at the other Target. It really seems like they make up policies that only apply to this store. I think they need to retrain people or get better employees. With a toddler, full time jobs, and the hustle and bustle of life, Drive Up is supposed to make things more convenient. 5 STARS FOR DARRYL!! Now here's a problem... this is a first world problems complaint lol. The drive up as a whole is terrible. This target is by far the WORST for drive up. Always takes forever (10mins+), holiday season or not. They even added way more spots, probably because the cars are sitting for so long as others are coming in. Today took quite a while, my daughter had enough time to eat her entire happy meal in the back seat. Cars left before me that showed up way after me. I think it was an issue with their system since my drive up didn't pop up at first. But honestly Darryl was so sweet & cheerful, I still left happy. He is such a gem! To be honest, all the employees here are great. The drive up sucks but that's the only downfall. read more

Some times I enjoy taking my time getting my Starbucks ice coffee walking around the store and buying useless items. Most times however I love using the drive up service. So this review is solely going to be based on the drive up service. Now the drive up service is very straight forward tell them when your coming, and tell them when you arrived, tell them the spot you parked in, show them the code and get your items. I love using this service I use it 95% of the time. You save money and get exactly what you need your items are ready with in 2 hour. It's super convenient! Now the reason why it's not 5 star is cus the customer service isn't there and I understand why I mean its straightforward. The workers come and give you your items after seeing your code. So I personally feel like the customer service isn't driven as much as the efficiency as them getting the product to us. Aside from that I absolutely love this option way better then having to go to Walmart select a time frame and get it during that specific time. I like that target gives everyone the guarantee of your order being ready within 2 hours that same day. The spots are always clean and no cars are just parked there so it's easy to just go park and leave. 9/10 for the drive up service! Definitely recommend to use this. read more

it's a target. target is inherently entertaining ( has Stuff ) and usually stocks things a person needs, as well as things they didn't but they buy anyways just because. target is just a very general.. Place. for me this one drops a couple stars-- mainly at the registers. only one or two are active at any given time, and only half of the self-checkout registers are functional as well. i waited in line about 20 minutes to purchase three items. the selection here is pretty good and i've had good experiences with employees the couple times i've needed anything from them but just knowing i have to wait that long in line to get out of the place is a huge deterrent. :( hoping they can figure that bit out. read more

We only stopped at this location since we were nearby- we always shop at the location near home but needed some cat food. I was buying 2 smaller bags, then saw the larger bag tagged at $9.89- went to register rang up $17 something. The cashier said she needed to call a guy named Jason to check "since it was a big difference." Jason says he will go check the tag then be bag, mind you store was busy, we were waiting a good bit. I hear them talking on the sallies he tell the girl something, we wait, another girl shows up I'm like ok what's going on, he finally appears and says it's $17 something- that was the price. I explain to him the situation again and he goes "if you had read the tag you would have seen" I'm like excuse me, he pissed me off I told him it's not my fault it's tagged wrong or under the wrong product my daughter ended up taking it back and getting us the smaller bags. The guy Jason ended up walking away. We left & will never be back to this location. I called the Guest Services number, but felt like the guy wasn't taking anything seriously. Came in to shop for my sons birthday party this weekend , he likes Batman because he saw the movie. I was in the toy department and picked 2 RC toys which is listed on the picture below. Went to cashier rung up higher than listed. The cashier made me go snap a picture of the discrepancy and show her. Which I did next she took it to her manager. The manager went to the department with out even approaching me first what he was doing. I waited about 13 min. ( it took 5 min to snap the picture and come back ) daryle the manager on duty came back and before I can introduce myself he rudely said that's it's price that rings up and can't honor it . Daryle showed no empathy towards the situation. I don't work at target I'm the consumer that's what employees are for to ensure the item matches the price listed. Don't come Here !! I called corporate they honored the price, no questions asked after I explained the situation, and having it shipped! They really need to focus on customer relations at this store. They have some things one week and then you'll never find I it in stock again, like Silk soy milk or Dial glycerin soap. Their stock goes quickly, like when there wasnt any cough drops for 2 weeks. Also, sales are on things that are expired, like yogurt or thawed wet Hawaiian Bread. We avoided it due to Covid, so we were getting things delivered. It's a much better option than picking up. I was looking for a spot to park in for Pick Up, and was farthest from the store. The employees just go to the newly parked cars and ignore the one who has been waiting forever (me). So lame- asking to reset the app to make it look like we just arrived. Lame! read more

I frequent this Target because it's close to me... superclose, like walking distance close. I like the one in Brea better, but I'm too lazy to drive there just for a Target. This Target is of average size. There's a photo center and Starbucks inside, as well as a pharmacy. It's pretty clean here and the workers are friendly. Some of the cashiers like to make small talk during checkout... and I think it's funny because there's one guy that seems to have to make random comments at every item. It's just funny, nothing offensive. I used to go here much more often when I was shopkicking a lot more, which is an app where you scan and get points. I love that Targets have wii-fi, making it very easy and fast for you to connect to the internet and do some price comparisons or to research stuff while you are shopping. The stores here are always clean. There's typical Target stuff here and I love how Hello Kitty and Target seemed to have teamed up because you can get Hello Kitty stuff here for a much better price than at any Sanrio store, but it's not the same items, but it's enough to make me happy. They have a small fresh market section, which has enough for typical day-day items, but I've seen some Targets with a much bigger selection. If you walk around, you can find many items marked down. Most recently, I found Hello Kitty car seat covers marked down, which I bought right away! I also found a flat tire kit which I also bought since last year seemed to be filled with nails and flat tired for me! They do mark down seasonal stuff... but good luck finding anything good on seasonal items that are marked down after the holidays. I don't know when people camp out to buy those things, but even when I go the very next day after a holiday, there seems to be very few items of any use left! I stopped bothering with after holiday mark downs, but I do frequent and go in search of seasonal stuff like winter, summer, fall, spring, school items - you have a much better chance of finding good stuff marked down. I've gotten backpacks for only about $10 from $45. You'll find me here pretty often, maybe like once or 2x in a week, sometimes more if I'm bored and just want to walk around looking for random items that are marked down. read more

Due to Covid, I take advantage of the curbside free pick up service in order to avoid the crowd. This location is typically more stocked up on inventory compared to Diamond Bar, Brea and Covina. Target is affordable and have everything I need as a one stop shop for all of my household needs. This locations is located on the busy street of Colima with a huge parking lot. They also have a starbucks located inside. The curbside pick up offered 8 designated parking spots. Curbside pick up has been been quite popular due to the recent rise in COVID cases. It's also a good way to save time. It took less than 5 mins and I'm already leaving the parking lot for the next destinations. Please make sure you confirm on the order though. I have gone back with items that never made it into my trunk. But it's normal human errors that can't be preventable. (I guess....) read more

I am not one to post about a LOD at this location, but this goes beyond bad customer service. Used the target app to check a price of an item. At the register the barcode didn't scan. Friend and I showed her target mobile app and the price. It was displaying a lower price the the marked tag. The LOD refused to honor the price. He could not get the item to scan at the registers and ended up him using his cell phone to price check. All of which was happening at guest services and very loudly for all to hear. After reinstalling the target app, scanning it in front of them and ensuring the correct target store, they still did not want to honor it. It was a $10 price difference. They responded with "I cannot honor the price on your app as our phone says its different from yours. Its 3 people versus 1." I proceeded to ask for the corporate number. I informed them that this was misleading if we were using a target app and was at a target location. Team members identified the guy who was rude as the current LOD. He did not provide me with the corporate number. He began to explain how store policy works and avoided my question. I asked again for the corporate number and he walked away without saying a word. After all of this, a phone call to corporate was made. It wasn't more of the fact that the price, it was more of how this could have been resolved in a more professional manner. And to have received this from an assistant manager is beyond me. read more

Every time something is marked or is on a special deal the manager Darel always complains and yells at me in front of my kids. One time I went to get a baby bottle rack priced online for $8.53 and when I went in it was priced for $8.20 but rang up as $9.45. He told me the price was from last week and he was trying not to honor it and removed the price that was there so I had to order online and pick it up from there. Like really. Today the sign stated, "Buy 3 gold bond lotions and get a $5 gift card". Online it states 99 cents and up so I went and got 6. He still refused and took the sign down and said the website is wrong. Love, love, love Target. I seem to shop at Target nearly everytime if I need groceries and supplies. This location has been around for a long time, and it recently went under some intense renovation inside and out. The set-up of their clothing and accessories definitely improved. And this Target even began playing some music in the background! They're definitely stepping up their game. Their prices are slightly higher than other rival companies, such as Walmart. But, in my opinion, the shopping experience is better and some of Target's items appear to be of better quality. read more

The main reason I went to Target was to buy some eggs; however, there were no eggs. An employee in the grocery department who was stocking produce told me that there were eggs and that his coworker will be stocking them in 15 minutes. So I did some shopping and went back after 15 minutes. To my disappointment, there were no eggs and the employee I had spoken with wasn't around. I double checked to see if the eggs were in stock by using the self-help touch screen tablets. I requested a team member to be deployed to meet me. No one showed up (after 5 minutes of waiting) and the touch screen sent a message that a team member is not available. I went to Customer Service and asked to speak to the manager, Meagan, who apologized and said that the employee shouldn't have said that. However, she did not mention anything actionable such as talking to this employee so this incident wouldn't happen to another customer and in turn improve customer experience. If the employee had simply told me that he wasn't sure or that there are no eggs, that would have been fine. If an item is out of stock, that 's not his fault----that happens.But don't say things you're not sure about. The manager needs to address this with her employees. After purchasing my items in the self-check out and on my way to automatic doors, the employee monitoring the self-checkout area hollered at me that I didn't pay as the other customers looked at me. I stopped and told her that I have my receipt. During my purchase, the employee was directly behind me the entire time and was able to observe my transaction but yet she did not notice that I actually paid. There were 2 other customers at the time of my purchase. Isn't her job to monitor customer purchase? What was she doing while standing behind me? Again, the manager needs to conduct a training for the employees on how to better deal with and treat customers. At the parking lot some of the customers were glaring at me. Understandably with the rise of brazen shoplifting, it appeared that I had stolen the items I had purchased because the employee made a big scene. When I got home, I called Target and asked to speak to the manager to lodge a complain regarding the self-checkout incident that had transpired. I was put on hold for 15 minutes, and then was hung-up on. I called again and spoke to the employee that answered. I told her that there was no need for me to talk to the manager at this point and that I will go ahead and provide my feedback experience via inform target.com and Yelp. The employee listened to my complaint and expressed empathy and understanding, which quelled some of the negative feelings. I jokingly tell people that I love Target so much that I feel I'm single-handedly financing Target. I like going to Target early in the morning because there's not a lot of people and it's "shop therapy." However, my experience at this Hacienda Heights Target was a nightmare. I moved to Hacienda Heights 10 months ago but plan to sell my house in 2 years and move back to Cerritos where my experience at that Target has always been positive. read more
