This particular store is a combo of Marshall's and HomeGoods. So they have clothes, shoes, luggage, bedding, housewares, etc. Something for everyone. I could spend a few hours in this store and still not see everything they have to offer. But... you do need to be in the mood to look through racks and racks of stuff all mishmashed in the racks and shelves. Sizes and styles are limited so if you see something you like, just buy it. I found a cup with visible scratches today, and since it was the last one in stock, the cashier kindly suggested asking the manager for a discount. However, the store manager was extremely dismissive and condescending. She looked at the item with disdain and told me that because they are a 'discount store,' everything is 'not perfect' and I shouldn't expect quality. There is a huge difference between selling discounted goods and providing poor customer service. Her attitude was unprofessional and made me feel unwelcome as a customer. Also, if the management's philosophy is that they only sell damaged or inferior goods, then customers looking for quality should definitely shop elsewhere. Browsed the store for assorted items. Decent price range, good variety of home goods and apparel that anyone would want. Some of the food items are good to treat yourself or gift to others because the packaging looks very neat. Very popular and has a lot of customers shopping throughout. Plaza is very busy with lots of other stores so parking can be a challenge. Also parking spaces here are very tight so you will need to park between the lines carefully and watch out for other cars. read more

Not all Marshall HomeGoods stores created equal A couple of days ago, I wasn't particularly looking for anything in store, but happened that I spotted few throw pillows that I liked. Wow, they were on clearance sales $18.00 from original sticker price $64.99 a piece. I selected two, and asked the cashier if I could return if they don't work well with my furnitures. Regina, the store key staff, was behind the cashier, she kindly reminded the cashier that starting early October, all merchandise can be returned before January 25, 2024. - with price tags attached. So joyfully I carried these cushions home. It ended up that I went back to the store and got more throw pillows. Regina was always there to assist her associates and me with smiles. If you ever think of a dirty foul "gas station restroom" this is what you would see.It seems like they have never cleaned it.It has a tile half wall and the stains and grime that it has OMG. Everything that you'd expect at a Marshall's was at this Marshall's. I love finding deals for random items I may be in need of such as hand soap at a discount. It also allows me to try new brands and varieties. Parking was easy, but navigating the store was a little more difficult. The items weren't always on shelves, or they were not organized. Something I noticed was that like the variety of items, the prices were also quite a range. In the men's section, one item would be $7 but the item right next to it would be $69. Other than that, the store was difficult to navigate because the fitting rooms were not on the same end as the clothing section. As a result, there was quite a walk. I don't come here as often but whenever I visited this store, I always found decent amount of sales here and this is similar to stores like 'TJMaxx,'. To rate them so low such as 3.5 overall stars is harsh and brutal. If it has to do with return policies, they always stated that on the receipts?! I would suggest saving receipts during these days. I only take off a star if issues had to with: 1). Long lines at check out on a non-holiday weekend, 2). Came in for a return. Why does the cashier with the short hair, typically on the left side PUSH so damn hard for a credit card. After standing in line hearing her push a "REWARD" card over and over again, after the guests say no several times, my mode changes! I always hope to not get her, but as my luck would have it- I get her every single time! I thought, this time she won't ask me because it's a return anyway. And I was wrong. But the reason I'm giving this place the grade I did, was cause I was getting annoyed with the pushy cashier lady Victoria. It started with her pushing to get me to sign up for the credit card. It is nice to be greeted by staff who offer you a sanitized cart for your shopping experience. This store also has "traffic" arrows to follow as you walk through store. I use to love coming to Marshall's to find great deals and things I actually want to buy. It's a pretty large store and it sells a variety of items from beauty products, cooking items, clothes and also shoes. But the thing is everyday when I show up here the place is organized and clean but the items itself aren't anything that I want to buy. I don't know what changed, maybe my style did but now a days I'm always leaving empty handed. I have tried on clothes but the style just isn't right anymore. Plenty of parking in the lot and it's a good size store. But I think you guys really need to change it up and buy other brands. This is an unusual combination of stores. In my experience Home Goods is usually combined with a TJ Maxx. It is also an unusual configuration in that the store is wide, but not very deep. The inside was different than most Marshall's because of this, but the merchandise was the same and the store was clean and well organized. I was looking for a particular Christmas clearance item which I didn't find, but I was not surprised as I knew it may be gone. I didn't purchase anything else as I was in a hurry, so I did not get to interact with any store personnel. I wouldn't mind coming again though. The store is tucked into a strip mall across from Puente Hills Mall. Parking is a challenge and I found the spaces way too small to avoid getting door nicks. This, however, is not the store's fault so I saw no reason to lower the stars. read more

They also have upped their brand names although prices were slightly cheaper but still on a pricey side. There was a Marshalls in Hawaii - on the island of Oahu, but it closed. It had great discounted name brand items, but maybe the cost of shipping was too much... Sometimes, when I'm on the mainland, I'll stop in at a Marshalls and find something good - like in Las Vegas, I found a hooded beige jacket for $17; and in San Jose, I found a pair of black boots for $20. Yay! At this Marshalls in Puente Hills (Los Angeles area), I wasn't able to find anything. I really NEEDED a purple shirt for the Purple Shirt Walk for Fibromyalgia Awareness the next day, but I didn't like the shirts that they had. Maybe next time... If you like decorative items and good deals, Marshalls is the store for you. Even though this location is relatively small compared to other Marshalls, it is packed with goods for your house, clothes, accessories, and other junk. :) Considering how much traffic this store gets, it is relatively clean and organized. What I love about Marshalls is that they have so any different animal prints on their items. If you're looking for a mug with a sloth on it, you'll find it here. You want an alpaca on a pillow... they have several of them! How about prints of dogs and cats on tumblers and towels? Yes! They have those too. This is a haven for animals lovers and hoarders!! This location carries a variety of designer purses as well - including Betsy Johnson and Lily Bloom. The cosmetic/soap section is actually stocked with loads of Philosophy bathing gels and salon hair products. This is such a great store for gifts, self-indulgence, and great prices. I have even found easels and cheap items and frames for my wedding here! The lines here are usually long, but they move pretty quickly. Still, this isn't the kind of store you go into if you're in a rush. My major complaint is that the cashiers are always asking me to sign up on their credit card. I wish corporate would STOP pressuring their employees to pester customers about this! First of all, I already have a card with them... and second of all, it's pretty annoying and makes me feel like I am at a used cars dealership getting hounded by salesman. Just stop. read more

Came by for the first time earlier today, seeing the words, Home Goods anywhere is a major weakness of mine. I went in with the hubby left 3 containers for my indoor plants at home. Scoreee! This location seems to be an existing Marshalls that they recently added the words Home Goods to. Which is fine by me, I understand that they are sister companies. This store is a bit small compared to all the other ones I been too. But inventory, wide selections, there is a lot to look, and there is a lot around for everyone. Didn't need to speak to anyone or ask for help, getting rung up at the register was very easy and quick. The line was long, but it moved very quickly. Plus! I like going to Marshalls specifically for their kitchen stuff. I like looking at dishes and other small kitchen appliances. Marshalls always have so many unique stuff that you havent seen at other department stores for half the price or even cheaper. During my recent visit, I was able to find Bodum Teapot set with the teaspoons for only $12.99. It was a great buy I thought. They also carry Joseph&Joseph brand as well as other good brands. As for the shoe department for thos location isnt that amazing because I have seen better in Torrance locations. Staff is nice and kind by greeting you. Nowadays hardly anyone says hello or how are you so its always nice to hear from anyone. Parking is everywhere in the plaza and tjere is always parking in the front of the entrance. read more

I've had multiple pleasant experiences at this Marshall's/Home Goods location, but my last was horrible. I had purchased an entryway bench from them during the torrential downpours we never get in LA and asked them if I could pick it up at a later date when it wasn't raining. The employee who assisted me was very helpful in setting this up for me and assisted me with my purchase. The problem was, I lost the receipt between that day and the pickup date. The only time I've ever needed customer service from a store, I didn't receive it. I was made to feel as if I was a criminal lying about this purchase. The store supposedly has no way of looking up past receipts and said there was nothing they could do for me. I had to persistently say I already paid for the item, so please find some way to help me. I had to practically beg for it before someone went to the back (the item had the receipt attached to it with my name and phone number). They eventually gave me the bench I purchased and the manager said she could not give me a copy of my receipt with so much attitude that I did not deserve. Very unhelpful and very disrespectful manager. read more

Would love to give zero star, even negative would do better. They are soooooooo slow. 4 cashiers working and they are barely moving. I understand that they shouldn't be running, but the bare minimum effort wasn't even put. They all look like they had just crawled out of bed and its 12pm. I'm pregnant and I usually dont wait if it's a long line and I'm carrying items, had 2 people in front of me and never in a million years did I think I would have to stand there for so long! This place is a mess but I had a goal in mind and I knew where items were located so I just ran in a did my 20 minutes to get what I wanted. I did however choose a wrong item and since i was in a hurry I didn't bother to try it on and had to come back and exchange the item but that all went smoothly. This place has updated and improved their cash register systems so you get inline and an automated voice intercom will direct you to the next open cash register. read more

Love this Marshalls! I am never disappointed that I will come out with a great bargain, either for myself or for others! There is always a variety of merchandise and quick turnover of items! So if you see something you like, most definitely buy it! Or else it may not be there if you decide to come back later to purchase it! As any discount store, some items may be misplaced or messy. The employees are always on the floor and trying to tidy up but it really is the customers who misplace items anywhere and make it messy so the employees cannot be blamed for that. The deals are always great and there is always new items! The customer service is usually great but have had one issue and had brought it up with the manager. He was swift to apologize and assured me that he would talk to that employee. The selection for toys is a bit lacking, so I would rather go to Ross or Target. They do have a great selection of home furnishings and wish that I could buy them all! The parking lot spaces are too tight and sometimes when 1 car parks crooked, others have to follow, or others will just try to park every other spot if there are enough spots. read more

Homegoods just recently mashed in with Marshalls. They have a HUGE cat selection, so I was in heaven! Got so many super adorable kitty stuff. Love that Homegoods is so much closer to home now! Marshalls has really turned around the quality of products in recent years. I like looking through the shoe selection and can some good deals. I also enjoy the beauty products. The shampoo, body wash and lotion products are quite good and good value. Good discount brand items and sometimes I find brands that I didn't previously know about but discover I enjoy. The exchange and return policy is pretty good, I've never had trouble returning housewares before. Housewares is another good selection here! I've picked up good picture frames and great storage jars as well. At better prices than big department stores. read more

LOVE this Marshalls! I frequent this place practically every week. Maybe even twice a week sometimes. I have yet to find a Marshalls as good as this location, so I feel very lucky to have it as a local store. The staff here are always friendly. The best thing about this location is their shoe selection. Biggest shoe selection I have seen for a designer bargain store (with exception of Nordstrom Rack). I tend to find at least one pair of shoes that I want to take home each time I visit. Tons of Steve Madden shoes! Sometimes you might get lucky and find Jessica Simpson and even Sam Edelman. Yeah, you get the idea. Shoe lover's paradise. Everything here is relatively easy to find, too. It's not the most organized store, but organized enough. They redid the dressing rooms not too long ago, so that's nice. My only complaint I have is their restrooms... Yuck!! They really need to do something about them. Oh Marshalls...why must you have such great deals and steals? I ventured in today because I had a couple of hours to kill...and ended up finding more things than I planned for! Organization- Okay...the categories (women's, junior's, home, etc) are laid out for all to see but the signs are too small and camouflage with the rest of the store. So one minute I'm looking at tanks and the next minute I've walked into sweaters...definitely not helpful. Merchandise- Another okay. Their shoe selection is big but their sizes aren't as fully stocked as other Marshalls I've been to. So if you have a size 8/9 in women's...be prepared to be disappointed. Their home section is kind of disorganized...and it doesn't help that a lot of people misplace everything after they have looked at stuff. Fitting rooms- ultra clean... I also love how they label the hooks into "tomorrow" "maybe" etc. so you can know what you want and what you don't want. I also love how their mirrors are lighted so you can see yourself clearer. Checkout- Fast! Love their automated system so you know which register is open... Overall- if you're not in a time crunch and can handle some confusion and some digging for good finds...come here!
