Located in Diamond Plaza, this place is all sorts of randomness in the best way. When you walk in, the first thing you see are snacks from Asia that aren't available in the regular markets. I.e. different flavored Oreos, Kit Kats, Pringles, etc. OK, cool. But snacks are only half the store. The other half of the store is other stuff. Turn the corner and there are drinks. Turn another corner and there are toys, hair accessories, jewelry, and stationary. Turn another corner and there is skin care, and other personal care items. Turn another corner and there are Asian sauces and instant noodles. It's fun to explore and see what exotic flavors are popular on the other side of the world. OH MY GOD I have never seen so many snacks all in one place in my life. The selection is out of this world. The prices are.... ok. Not super expensive but some of the stuff where you can find in other supermarkets def costs more here. But you go get stuff where you usually cant get anywhere else. Duo Duo Snacks is a super cool wonderland where snacks, anime figures, and random treasures all hang out together like it's no big deal. I turned into a full on explorer, wandering every aisle and pointing at things you definitely won't find in your average Asian market snack run. Found my fave, mango jelly... so yummy!! My only gripe was the checkout line. It moved about as fast as I do after eating too many rice crackers.... so, yeah...a solid 20 minute wait. Parking is plentiful, but the plaza itself is always packed. Every time we've gone, it feels like half the city had the same snack-craving idea to go here. Saw Duoduo Snacks on social Media and I was hanging out in the Rowland Heights area so I had to see it for my self. Upon entering, I knew I had to walk around with blinders on or strengthen my will power to not grab at everything I wanted to try. This place can be overwhelming if you're a snack lover. They sell more than snacks though. They even had collectible dolls similar to Labubu's. There's a lot of Chinese and Japanese items, even healthcare and beauty items. I had high expectations due to raving reviews online, but unfortunately they were out of stock of all the unique Asian food shaped ice cream ): I did manage to get the chicken sandwich ice cream however, but it was underwhelming with various tastes/ textures that I could not even get past to finishing. I loved seeing snacks that were reminiscent of my childhood. There's a huge selection of dry snacks, but also beverages, and instant noodles. I saw employees constantly stocking the shelves with more items throughout the store, but I didn't interact with any except for the cashier. I also enjoyed their blind box area. We asked for another bag because they were shoving everything into one bag and it was crushing the chips. They rolled their eyes looking down as if we couldn't see. We were nice about it as well and they both looked at each other and acted we did something so bad? And they spoke to each other in another language and just giving us attitude. Anyway, about the store, pls check for expiration dates as they do sell some expired food and snacks. There's a mini pop mart area in the center.
