I was passing through Diamond Bar and happened to see Super H Mart. I did not know there was a Super version of H Mart so I had to stop by and check it out. Super H Mart is within the H-Mart Plaza. This plaza is huge. It has many different shops, restaurants, banks, and other specialty businesses. Tons of parking. Great place to hang out for the morning, afternoon, and evening. Besides visiting the Super H Mart which was fantastic and an eye opener in a good way LOL (I'll share my experience under Super H Mart page), I didn't get a chance to walk around the whole plaza because it was getting late, but I did drive through it on my way out. I would love to return here and offer my support and patronage to some of the local businesses in this plaza in the near future. To name a few... I recently moved which meant I needed to find a new HMart. My usual go to store is in Irvine or Buena Park when I am in the area. I was surprised and happy to see that this was a "Super" HMart. The store was huge and had a lot of variety. They even had a food court area that I want to check out next time. I got a pack of champagne mangoes and peaches for a great price. Depending what time you go it can get busy, but the cashier I had was quick and efficient in bagging all of my items. Overall, a great Hmart that is clean and offers variety.

Love this Super HMart. Located in the heart of Diamond Bar. Same plaza as Triple A, Automobile Club. Lots of other business & eateries. Main supermarket is HMart, they have so many different varieties of veggies, meats, noodles, fresh seafood. Practically all Korean items since it is a Korean Market. All your one shop stop for your necessities. A mini food court here w so many varieties of Korean food eatery. Awoolim, Castellla, Tous Le Jours to name a few. Bakery Located right inside Super H Mart when you enter the market. They offer different varieties of Breads, pastries, cakes, desserts & even popsicle Love Tous Les Jours has the best Breads and their cake is also yummy. A well known Korean bakery. Their cakes are so cute along w yummy and not overly sweet at all.. So many varieties of cakes, pastries & bread. Their breads are always so yummy & fresh. My fav is the cream edition breads. Sounds a bit sweet but not sweet at all. I love the Matcha cream Than the Taro cream I had the butter cream and it wasn't as great as the Matcha & the taro. Great to enjoy w coffee & tea. Service is nice. Associates are great here. Also @ H Mart Plaza Starbucks & Tasty Box. Young Dong Tofu House. yummy tofu soup especially w the rain along w the cold weather along w scrumptious Bibambap & other Korean entrees. Highly recommended. Lots of parking available.

    Moldy King's Hawaiian Bread

I bought King's Hawaiian Bread there twice in 1 year and both times the bread was moldy. I tried calling the store to let them know but no one bothered to pick up the phone.

    Fresh fruit!

I love the huge variety of fresh produce available at Hmart. They also have a great selection of kimchi and prepared Korean meats that you can take home to cook. If you can bag your own groceries, do so. The staff and cashiers are helpful for the most part but I've found that when they bag fresh fruit it tends to get bruised in the process.

    Rice weevil found

We really loved this market since today. Because this is very new and clean. We bought a rice and opened it and there was a hundreds of rice weevil came out from. This is the one of most disgusting experience I've ever had. We drove 1.5hrs (back and forth) from San Bernardino county, So I don't want to go back get refund of it. We won't probably go this market anymore..

In the one year that Jen and I have been dating, this place has improved and provided many fun days and nights. The Christmas decorations were wonderful and this past weekend they had the Lunar New Year celebration, with many additional pop-up vendors in the street (closed off for pedestrians). We enjoyed walking, talking and exploring all the additional vendors and also the people (and dog) watching was top notch. Judging by the crowd turnout, I would say that this was a successful event, and I hope they add more events like this going forward. Many great restaurants, shops, craft stores and plaza entertainment. Water fountains and train rides for the kids (and some adults too). Whether you come here to dine, shop or just hang out and enjoy the weather with others, this place is a solid choice.

My eldest daughter was with me that day. We had to walk from See's to Albertsons because I didn't want to relocate my car. Hey, walking is good for us. I have such vivid memories of hanging out at Cue to take sticker photos (purikura) with friends, grabbing drinks and playing cards for hours at Ten Ren's Tea, and browsing through all the cool Japanese lifestyle goods at Life Plaza. While the shops have changed over the years and the plaza looks different now, the vibe remains special. Even though the "old" spots are gone, I still find myself coming back constantly. Every corner of this place is filled with memories of growing up. It's rare to find a place that evolves with the times while still making you feel so nostalgic. Still my favorite place to hang out!

This was THE place to go to and get dropped off at or take the bus and walk to when I was in high school/early college before I was able to drive. I'm going to out myself as a fossil, but do you remember Life Plaza? Genki Living? Cue? Arcade Infinity? We really had it all back then. I'm even mourning the loss of our Cocoichibanya to this day that used to exist here. So many great businesses that have come and gone and so many years of my life spent here, great memories, sad memories, and memories with people who are no longer in my life. When I had to live in the horrific midwest, I would await the day I get to visit Diamond Plaza again. But that's just rose colored glasses. Yes, lots of businesses and some really good eateries have come and gone (crazy that Gen and Ten Ren's got eliminated), but now the plaza is SUPER FISTED. Probably due to the Chubby Cattle and the popularity of the other places to grab dinner and go to the Duo Duo Snacks. I used to be able to finesse parking in the back area or to the side near the freeway, but now you have to circle around much more often and the parking pit can't guarantee anything to you. Alongside parking being a PvP zone and no regard for human life, you gotta really watch yourself. I'm glad Sul and Beans is still around and that regardless of all the changes, you can always guarantee that there's good food here. Big fan of the Duo Duo Snacks, and it's nice that there's an anime store here (though the prices are a bit high and it's filled with mostly shonen slop).
