Visited this Target Store on October 8th 2017. As we checked out my wife was having difficulty with the credit card she was using. The cashier "Brennan" rolled his eyes and gave her "that look". His attitude towards us was very disrespectful and certainly degrading. Target really needs to screen their help better. Probably won't return to this store. During my shopping experience at this particular location, it was awful and humiliating once I got to the self checkout line. I was at the self checkout register with my co-worker and I was scanning my items and placing them in the plastic Target bag. Out of nowhere an associate walks up to both myself and my co-worker and ask my co-worker "What's in your bag?" as she pointed to her personal bag. My co-worker responded "Excuse me?" The associate then started to look and point in my co-workers bag and told her "People steal.... Is that your bag or purse?" That was so embarrassing and it totally caught us off guard. Other customers were looking in awww. I could not believe what was going on, I've NEVER experienced this type of behavior from an associate at any store I've shopped in before. She literally stood right there by us as I checked out. The strangest part about this was that there were other customers who were Caucasian who was also self checking out and she NEVER said anything to them. I feel we were approached because we were African American and she racially profiled us. It was very humiliating, weird and embarrassing. Knowing you were accused of stealing when you were not. Once we left the store we called to speak to the manager Brian who confirmed he knew what associate we were talking about. He told me this was not the first time she has done this today. As I told him "Her approach is completely off and she needs to be re-trained, or maybe that's not the job for her." Telling me that behavior is not "Target's way" is clearly not what she displayed. Obviously this associate has some deep rooted racial issues that should be addressed outside of the work place. I don't want to shop in ANY establishment who judge people based on the color of their skin. I WILL NEVER shop in Target EVER again and I will continue to shop at Walmart, they have a better selection and prices. This location deserves 0 stars. read more

Horrible customer service. Even with store manager. Wanting to purchase a TV at 15% off with the cyber Sunday and Monday deal. Was going to purchase online but did not want to risk shipping the TV so I made the trip to the store to purchase. The woman at the service desk would not honor 15% off even when my target app had applied it to my TV. She called over the manager who also would not. Finally they figured out how to apply 15% off. Neither apologized for the 15 minute inconvenience of arguing with me. read more

Target is great. They have pretty much everything, so excited to see the summer patio furniture! They have very high turnover and great clearances. I grocery shop here too, very good produce and bakery, they do custom decorated cakes and cookies. If you get a target charge you get great discounts too. read more

Good location with nice staff and a very complete store selection -- everything from produce to patio furniture to electronics to cosmetics. Great experience at this Target! I'm from Denver and was in Rochester visiting family. I called ahead to the Electronics department trying to track down specific seasons of the Office on BluRay. The young man who answered was very helpful and had the merchandise waiting for me at the counter. I ran in and paid for it right there. In and out in less than five minutes... Well done Target! This is a beautiful new Target well done Rochester. This store is easy to shop and super clean. My only complaint is I always get stuck in the parking lot..There is definitely not an easiest way out. I also greatly appreciate that even though this is a Minnesota store you still have Starbucks! I could believe how hard it was to find one when I was home. When I was here they had their whole Neiman Marcus area 50% off and let's just say we had fun! Oh Target how I love you no matter where in the world I am! read more

I live about two miles from this Target and so it is very convenient, Convenience is really its best feature. I have had poor experiences with their optical shop (very poor quality frames and high prices), their pharmacy (I got a flu shot there and the technician gave me the impression it was a bother). Grocery shopping has been so, so. First, positives: There is generally ample parking. They have a Starbucks with friendly barrista/associates. Their roasted chickens are consistently excellent and a good bargain. When available, their artisan breads are tasty, but avoid pre-sliced offerings because the bags are not wrapped in re-sealable poly-it's more of an easily torn polypropelene. Negatives: Beware of sale items and check expiration dates closely. Produce is spotty and inconsistent. Avoid purchases for anything bagged. For example, I've gotten two bags of radishes that had rot and mould within from name brands. At the end of a weekend, many items are sold out (apparently they get no deliveries to re-stock until Mondays. I've found the management of check out lines very inconsistent. During slow periods when you expect not to have to wait you can get backed up because they have staff doing stocking or on break and are sometimes slow to call in assistance until the lines are backed up significantly. Surprisingly, they trail even Wal-mart in check out efficiency. They also seem to have a difficult time recruiting check out staff without attitudes. A few of their late adolescent and early 20 somethings clearly don't want to be there and their demeanor shows it. Can it really be that hard to find motivated help in Rochester? I would have given 3 stars, but I don't agree with the Yelp descriptor A-OK. In my book, A-OK is a more positive affirmation than this store deserves. read more

Horrible customer service and the CVS Pharmacy makes it even worse! I repeat do not fill prescriptions at this pharmacy! They are not customer service friendly. I went tonight to pick up a prescription; was told they don't know what happened but it didn't get filled. Fine, I waited around for 15-20 minutes as they requested. After waiting and walking back up to the window; I found they had closed the window and didn't even alert us that our script was ready. So, I had waited with a young child who didn't feel well, drove across town, accepted their original mistake of not filling it and they closed down on me without me getting the medication? They closed at 7 on the nose and then wouldn't answer their phone. The female store manager that I waited for another 10 minutes to talk to about it was extremely rude to me and my daughter. My 7 yr old daughter even asked me why the girl kept "sighing" at me when she talked. (Referring to the "manager") read more
