From the outside. This location could use some serious updating.

I LOVE Macy's, and for the record, the employees here were great! But this location needs some SERIOUS updating. It's shameful with their proximity to Mayo, I'd think this location draws a LOT of out of town visitors.... you'd think they would keep up with the building. But No. Sadly it was pretty gross. The outside looks really run-down. And the bathroom (I can only speak to the Women's bathroom) was absolutely gross: the toilet seats were even worn down! There was a nasty white/beige leather couch which had SO many filthy dirty marks on it - I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. And the dressing rooms were really outdated. There was nasty brown watermarks on the ceiling tiles - ewwww. Clearly everything in this building is original. One last annoying point: There's no MAC Cosmetics in the cosmetics area. I find that odd. I'm a MAC user and wanted to pickup something specific that I'm out of, and there's no MAC cosmetics here. Boo. They still carry GREAT stuff. All the merchandise is fabulous and they still have great sales! I spent around $325 on clothing here today. But I can't really say that I'd recommend this location to anyone. It's time for a Macy's makeover on this location.

There is not much in the store. I wanted perfume only 2 bottles nothing in stock! My perfume is a major brand that should be well stocked.

I'm with Nikki. Lots of useless lazy people around there who love to pawn their work on someone else so you're running from dept to dept.

The "bubbles" were a glue like consistency and there was no way you could blow bubbles through the wand of glue. The cat treats were rock hard. I brought the items back the next day and explained the issues. The manager proceeded to take the bubbles out and attempt to blow bubbles herself, which of course was impossible. She then said she could refund my money for that item, but not for the cat treats since my cat "didn't like them". She suggested I donate them to Paws and Claws. I told her no cat would eat those because they are rock hard and told her to throw them away. She refused to refund my money. What a joke. I suggest you do not purchase anything here that you think you may have to return.

I love TJ Maxx. When I lived in Rochester, the city did not have one. Naturally, when I move away…read morefrom a city, all stores that I like seem to set up shop. You're welcome, Rochester residents... haha! I was curious to find out whether there was a TJ Maxx. I did a search and found this store near Apache Mall. I decided to drive over here to check it out before heading to the mall. This store is in a plaza-mall hybrid. There was lots of parking on a snowy Wednesday afternoon. I parked and headed over to the store. It's an interesting setup where the TJ Maxx-HomeSense store feels like you are in a mall. You go through the main entrance and you walk over to the store in a mall-like setting. However, not all stores are accessible indoors. Many are set up like a plaza where you have an entrance for each store. It's weird. As with most TJ Maxx stores, the purses tend to appear first. I do miss the days when you could readily find Kipling purses. These days, you get Disney and Snoopy ones, which are still up my alley, but aren't as lightweight as Kipling ones. I tend to look at luggage. I had already bought a piece that worked well for my needs, but it never hurts to check this section out. I liked the selection. It had a number of pet duffle bags. It was my first time seeing them at any store's travel section. The face care section is impressive. I have never seen so many face wipes and masked neatly stacked. This store had purple Crocs. I don't own a pair, mainly because I can never find a pair in my size. I was so close here. One day, my dream will come to fruition. The kitchen accessories section made me happy. I found an oil spritzer with a glass base. I've always wanted one and it was at a good price here. Although the base is glass, it's pretty lightweight. I am also a sucker for small appliances. Mainly Dash products were available. I love this brand. I have mini griddle and waffle makers. I didn't need one, but they do make great gifts. The phone accessories section is great, too. I like checking out everything from car phone mounts to portable bank chargers. The lineup wasn't bad. I had a nice woman at the checkout. She looked at my oil spritzer and said that it would be good for plants. That's true, especially for cactuses and succulents that don't require a ton of water. I paid with a credit card. The transaction was straightforward. I thanked the woman and left with my purchase. I'm thrilled that Rochester has a TJ Maxx. It has a decent selection of items that interest me. I'd come back when I'm in southern Rochester. (29)

This store formerly called Exquisite Leather and Luggage STOLE OVER $300 FROM ME. I purchased 3…read moresmall leather purses and specifically asked and received permission to return them by a date beyond the usual return date. Upon my return of the purses within the allotted time, the clerk gave me a hand written receipt showing the purses were returned and also showing my purchase that day of a pair of shoes. The returned purses were to be credited against the shoe purchase. By mistake the clerk charged me again for the returned purses as well as for the new shoe purchase. A few months later when I realized what the clerk had done, I brought the handwritten receipt into the store, and a copy of my credit card bill. I explained the lack of credit for the purses and that they had been again charged to me a second time. The manager that day accused me of stealing the purses and shoes despite my showing the handwritten receipt from their store signed by their clerk and my charge card statement. The manager refused to give me my $300 plus, or a credit or the purses back. The returned three purses were all visible in the store that day. When I talked with the owner she lied and said she had no way of checking her inventory to see whether or when the purses were returned. So she too refused to refund my $300 plus, give me a credit or give me back the purses. The owner also said since I had not brought this to her attention earlier, even if I was telling her the truth, she would not give me back my money, a credit or the purses. Even a year later I noted the store still had two of the purses for sale which I had returned. The clerk told me they had only originally ordered one of each purse and these were from the original order not reordered by the store. That is these two purses were the ones I had returned which the owner said she had no way of tracing. LIES AND FRAUD were all this store was good for.
