I stayed past 7 pm, which is when the mall closes daily. However, this bookstore closes daily at 8 pm. Awesome! This B&N is at the food court. You can enter the store without going through the mall. I had just finished eating dinner at the food court, so I took the mall entrance. The selection of reduced books and other items is this store's strength. I picked up a Sip by S'well bottle for $10, which is unheard of. One of their bottles that keep hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold for many hours normally goes for $20, at least. I needed one to fill up at the airport and loved the marble design that I got. I gravitated towards the Pusheen section. The plushies were adorable. I had some willpower and did not get any. There are a lot of plushies at this store, from BT21, to Harry Potter. I loved seeing them all. My favourite discovery was the music section. You can still listen to CDs here. I haven't seen that setup in a decade. I loved looking at the records (vinyl) and turntables. I was so happy. This store is huge. It has a full cafe with seating. I enjoyed my time browsing. I had to figure out where to pay. The payment area by the mall was unstaffed. There was an information desk smack in the middle of the store. Nearby was the second payment area. I had the nicest woman at the checkout. She found my name in the system after she got my phone number. If you sign up for a B&N membership, you get 15% off everything. I tend to shop here often that this membership has paid for itself and more. She placed my water bottle in a plastic bag and wished me a nice evening. I reciprocated and left the store, heading to my car through the mall. I love this store in my old stomping ground. I will definitely return and maybe stay a bit longer than an hour next time. (35)

I spotted Love From Minnesota as I was sitting at Caribou Coffee, which is steps away. After finishing my drink, I paid this store a visit. I like a store that also has Rochester items. I liked the tea towel that pinpointed where Rochester was. When you mention Rochester, most folks think of the city in New York. Nope, that Rochester doesn't have the Mayo Clinic like the one in Minnesota does. There were Christmas items on sale, from socks to ornaments. The pine cone hedge hogs with Santa hats were adorable! There were plenty of sweatshirts and apparel flaunting the state. I loved a geode in state form. It was cool. It also has general gift items, such as punny gnome socks. I spent quite a bit of time browsing everything. I may have to go back and get the cork coaster set that declares one's love for Minnesota. It seems fitting that I should have them. When you walk into any store, they way you're treated as a customer is very important to me. Paul is so kind, knowledgeable, and very personable. The store has one-of-a-kind finds. Including up-cycled items and there is a lot to choose from. The store is kept clean, tidy and organized. The store is also very well decorated which helps to give you ideas when decorating your own home or pulling together a gift for someone. Every time I go in the store there is something different, fun, and new to choose from. Everywhere from 'primitive' looking to modern, and artsy. Everything I've purchased from this store has a very special place in my heart. Their hand poured candles are also very nice! I LOVE the Victorian Pines scented candle for wintertime. Because I think the prices are pretty high, we went home to see if we could get a coupon. Long story short, I ordered on line with discounts available and had them ship a costume to the store. It took a few days. When I picked it up, they were very nice about it and had it ready. They gave my a very large orange halloween bag (normally 2.99) for the order. Turns out the costume was a little snug. Today. I ordered my son's costume online to pick up in the the store being it was in stock. It was ready when I got there with another bag. They were also very nice and I was able to exchange the other costume. They couldn't find the same costume in the bigger size in any store...we picked a different one and paid the difference. The manager was very nice throughout the whole process. Even though I think the costumes are kind of spendy, they are better quality and last a little longer.
