I had a bed delivered recently and the delivery crew broke my stair handrail. I went into the store and spoke with Manager Rod Moen. He couldn't have been less helpful. He quickly passed the buck and told me the damage is between me and a delivery company. He gave me a card with a phone number and told me work with them. He had no interest in helping me with this situation. I have no idea how he can keep a job as a store manager.

On sale it was $1600, and we had some extra cash so we went for it. To say my expectations were exceeded is an understatement. This is the most beautifully crafted piece of furniture I've ever laid eyes on. We were in awe of the gear structure for the leaf insertion. The finish is just stunning - a soft satin, and it is smoother than anything I've ever felt. My husband assembled it in 20 minutes - he just had to attach the feet to the base and the top to the pedestal. When raised, you can barely see the seam for the leaves. This will be an heirloom piece that will hopefully stay in our family for years. When I had questions, my emails were replied to quickly. The delivery team was great and we even had a personal cell phone to contact them during delivery. It is also very satisfying to support hand-crafted furniture made in the USA. I know this price point is not available to everybody, but if you can - I would highly recommend them.

I had the table top a warm brown stain, the wood grain was awesome! The pedestal was black, as were the chairs. Delivery was perfection. They assembled everything. The finished product was as smooth as velvet. My friends were so impressed! I am currently choosing everything for a new coffee table and end tables. Ashleys has reasonably high quality furniture and prices that are cheaper than the highest end stores. If you have a Mayo Clinic ID, you get an additional 35% discount on most things; this is a huge discount! Delivery is a single fee per visit and is irrespective of how many items you have handled. The staff are friendly and I believe work on commission so we tried to stick to the same person who initially greeted us (Hanna) and she was very nice about answering questions and helping us find the furniture that is right for us without trying to sell us on more expensive things. She struck a great balance, and I'm sure her colleagues would do the same.

They called to say they would be late & we still waited for them for the duration they claimed they would be arriving late, but they still didn't show up. We had to leave after waiting for them twice (late). Then they had enough nerve to say "we" weren't home. Like I said, they are scammers. Prior to the service plan expiring, the motor died on my unit. I called customer services and have been waiting 3 months for replacement parts. First, they called telling me they gave the part to another customer. Then, I had to wait 1.5 months to be rescheduled. THEN, the only time the technicians could come to my home was when I was busy at work. Today I tried to reschedule and was told there are no techs that cover Rochester and I would have to wait for them to hire someone before my furniture could be fixed.

I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience with this business. Their website clearly…read morestates that furniture and large items should be emailed ahead of time for approval, so I followed those instructions exactly. I emailed Jes with multiple pictures of a storage cabinet and end table - both in very nice condition - and asked, "do you take pieces like this?" Her response was a simple "yes." Based on that confirmation, my husband and I went through the trouble of getting a trailer, loading the items, and even taking time off work to deliver them. However, when we arrived, Jes refused to accept the pieces. When my husband showed her the email where she had said "yes," she claimed that she didn't mean "yes" she would take those exact items. When pressed, she admitted she "probably should have been more clear." This was extremely unprofessional and a complete waste of our time, effort, and money. To make matters worse, she also complained that our trailer was blocking her alleyway, despite the fact that we were there because of her prior approval, and had pulled the trailer over far enough that cars could get by. Clear communication, respect and accountability are basic expectations in any business, and this experience fell far short. I will never be returning and would caution others to think twice before relying on their process.
