This rating specifically regards my drive up experience. On a whole, Target is your standard big box store. I have recently become fond of the drive up pick up for my standard household items. It is convenient, quick, fast, and easy. All of this went out the window on my recent trip to the Richfield Target. I notified in the Target App that I was on my way and it tracks when I am in the parking lot. Unfortunately every single drive through pick up spot was taken. Was it taken by people actually waiting for an order delivery?? NO!! All spots, including the "No Parking Zone" were taken up by cars with no one in them. NO ONE!!! And I saw two people come out of the store with grocery carts and a third get out and go in the store!! Why aren't these cars being towed?? Why isn't there an announcement that these spots are reserved?? I finally got a parking spot and had to wait. And wait. And wait. All in all I probably was checked in for 20 minutes. This was not fast, easy, or convenient!! The only other time I had to wait for my order I was at least given a $5 courtesy gift card for the inconvenience. And that was maybe an 8 minute wait. Good target. They keep their produce fresh, and the employees are always nice. The weekends, however, can be a nightmare. Watch out for fat fat people with carts! They're in the way and annoying. read more

I mean, it's Target, and Target is a Force of Nature, right? A necessary and integral part of the community, and pretty much the first place you look for just about everything. Of all the Target stores I could go to, and there are a number that are roughly equidistant from my home - this one is my favorite. I won't talk about the merchandise, which is the same as every other store, but the employees are friendly, helpful, and plentiful. Parking is easy and adequate and it never gets crazy crowded. This is the most frustrating Target in the Twin Cities. I have never, in any trip there, come away with everything on my list. They are always out of stuff, which is plain to see from the empty shelves. The only reason I keep coming back is location, but man is it frustrating to never get everything on the list. I've started shopping on Amazon as a result and have found some good buys there. read more

Convenient grocery and departments all in one, can't complain. Location is outstanding. It can get very busy, which tends to annoy, but really, I can't whine too much about Target, and this one especially, with the exception of their questionable political leanings. read more

I work for a non-profit and was at Target picking up many items for children in need for our Christmas giving project. The staff there were so helpful and accomodating. They made check-out super easy and even helped me figure out how to use a couple gift cards we had earned for a seperate transaction (which was really nice because they were pretty busy). I usually do all my regular (grocery and other) shopping at this location because it's close to my house, but will now also do all of our work related stuff as well since they have been so helpful! read more

The newly remodeled stores on Lake Street, Mpls., and in Richfield, are way too bright, way too crowded (and I don's mean the number of shoppers), way too confusing and have way too much stuff that I don't need (and not what I do need and which in past years they usually had). A shopping cart won't even fit between the racks of cloths in the men's dept. and there are so many carts filled with stuff all aver the aisles throughout the store. on the plus side, staff are VERY friendly. read more

This is my go to Target as it's close to home, but this morning the staff exceeded my normal expectations. I went in bright and early in search of those Harry Potter 12 days of socks(those are in such high demand it's ridiculous) and was originally told that they never received them in a shipment. After accepting defeat, I decided to grab everything else I needed and go check-out. While in line Brian, the guy who had been helping me, came up to me and said that Eden, another staff member, found one! Super impressed. read more

I've never seen a Target with more empty shelves in the Grocery department. There were sections in the freezer that were more than 50% empty. Almost every item that was on sale was sold out it was ridiculous. read more

I needed to get some contacts because mine well I had to throw them out they were so old. I called up to schedule an appt which was very easy. When I got there they were very prompt (no waiting). I found the Doctor to be very friendly, nice and had a wonderful joking attitude. Dr. Feldman was very nice and I enjoyed him very much. I found the discounts and insurance situations to very well handled I barely had to do anything, the staff took care of it all. I also had bought glasses as well. They have a very vast and stylish selection with all the brand names from RayBan to Merona. Over all I had a great time as one could have at an eye exam. Staff was wonderful, Dr. was great. Right after my exam was over the best part also is I can just go shopping! read more

WHOAHH do not go here... choose a different target optical or a different optical place, period. Really honestly, terrible. For more information, read my saga below. I had an awful, unprofessional set of experiences at this target optical. The first time I visited I was seen by a fill-in optometrist. She tried to network with me during my visit, and asked for my phone number to contact me about business which made me feel uncomfortable. I also told her during the visit that the prescription in my left eye felt too weak. She said my eyes would adjust. They didn't. I had to come back in for a recheck a week later with Dr. Feldman. This was also a weird experience. I was greeted by the front desk and they told me that the doctor was running behind, so I'd have to come back in 15 minutes. When I came back , the doctor still wasn't ready, so I was instructed to come back in 10 minutes again...good thing I didn't have any plans this night after my appt I guess? When I finally got in Dr. Feldman seemed very strange and unprofessional...I secretly wondered if he'd get my prescription correct because he didn't seem to be listening to me at all. He gave me a prescription, that was different in both eyes from the previous doctor. This didn't work for my eyes either. I came back for a 3rd time (important to note I've never had to come back for a contact recheck up at all during my 12 years of contact wearing) and I was told by the front desk again that I'd have to come back in 15 minutes which was frustrating. I came back, and was shuffled into Dr Feldman's office. I told him what had been happening with my contacts and what I thought my prescription should be based on what had worked best from the other doctor in one of my eyes and what had worked best from him in the other eye. He pulled out sample contacts for me to try on. Just as I had gotten one in one of my eyes, he called another patient in. THIS WAS REALLY WEIRD and seems like it could be a HIPAA privacy violation. I was having difficulty getting my contacts in and felt rushed. I couldn't get them in correctly and he told me to go outside and look on the mirror out in the store to get them in. I felt so disrespected as I flurried to get my contacts in. In my haste, I put one of the contacts over my other contacts and thought that yet again, the Dr. Had made a mistake. I ordered contacts from the front desk. The woman was pleasant, but no one apologized to me- not even the manager on duty who I had been in direct contact with at all the 3 visits, and who also confirmed he knew who I was and recognized me from my other 2 visits! They had my phone number wrong in the system after these visits. I hope they got my order right, and that they entered my correct phone number in the system now so I actually receive a call when my contacts I ordered arrive. But, I am doubting it. Overall, really awful experience. Should have taken a week, not a month. Should have taken 1 visit- not 3 visits to the get my prescription right. This place needs to get a new optometrist, he's really really bad at his job. You staff also suck horribly as well and need better customer service training. I've worked in retail and I understand it sucks , but you have a job to do that you're getting paid for-a privilege, not a right- so do your job well please. read more

The pharmacy people do not know what they doing, Last time we came we signed up for ready refill, and still had to wait an hour, wishing there was a thrifty white around, they know what they are doing. she didnt know if we could use "discounts" and I could only do it if i was paying which doesnt make sense. I shop a Target often but my experience there today was just awful that I had to write about it. My experience is specifically regarding their Target Clinic. Target needs to shut their Clinics down ASAP. For some reason they were backed up at the clinic. My guess is that it had something to do with the utter incompetence of the staff. So I decided to pick up some items at Home Depot next door and come back. When I came back I waited in the clinic lobby. I was probably waiting for a good hour. When I was called the lady asked if I would be paying cash because they didn't accept my insurance there. The visit would have been $60. I just walked out at that point. Here I filled out their stupid information, including insurance information easily 2 hours prior and they couldn't have informed me of that prior this and instead had me wait 2 hours. On top of this, they don't do anything in their appts. I had previously went to a target clinic a few years back when I was on my old insurance and all the information that I got for the woman I easily could have gotten from Web MD. I will not make the mistake of going to the Target Clinic in my lifetime again!!!! read more

This review is for the Target Clinic at this location. I visited the clinic for primarily a sore throat, but had other symptoms as well, including a cough. The provider, Mary Jensen, didn't ask a single question about my symptoms, instead, relying on information I filled out via multiple choice questions when I checked in. She did ask what I'd been doing to treat the symptoms, to which I responded "NyQuil, rest and lots of fluids". She told me I was taking unnecessary medicine and told me to take 800mg of ibuprofen 4x daily instead. She then walked out of the room, told me not to forget my purse and shoved some paperwork in my hand. There was no consult, no diagnosis, no follow up instructions. It was the most bizarre experience I've ever had with a clinician. I can't believe I paid a copay and waited 45 minutes for LESS interaction than I could've received via a service like Virtuwell. I will not be returning to this location for clinic services, and am strongly considering not going back for any other retail/etc. needs as well. read more
