I went during a Thursday after work and it was pleasantly peaceful. I was immediately greeted nicely. The items were nicely stocked, nothing was messy. There was a nice variety of items and although it's smaller selection then a TJ Maxx or Marshalls I did enjoy the ones I did find. The rows can be cramped if multiple people are in the same row but I didn't run into this issue. The fitting room was clean and easy to access. The back fitting rooms were closed but the front ones were open. I was able to find some nice picks and even found items I have seen elsewhere cheaper here. I look forward to coming back when I'm in the area! Hope to see more pop up in the twin cities area.

It is similar to TJ Maxx and Marshall's but super crowded and cramped. I like the rolling baskets. No way I'm pushing a cart through all the racks. I found grinch lotion set, grinch clock, picture, 2 grinch rugs and a nice red sweater. Red is my mom's color, hope I'm not turning into her. Iykyk lol. But seriously, I dress up for when I attend meetings out of my home office for work. The staff were real nice. One sweater had a thread snag so I passed on it. I like Ross stores.

I can usually find whatever I need - which is usually just the basics like standard household items, snacks, sometimes clothing items. There's not a lot of staff interaction because I hardly see any around the store, most are at the front end and I usually opt for self checkout.

A friend and I often walked in this mall in cold weather. When we still had Macys and Eddie Bauer…read morethat was something. Now those are gone and I'm seeing a change in mall visitors. My service dog accompanies me most everywhere. Last winter as I changed her out of her service dog vest and back into her winter coat to leave, a male passerby snarled, "Can't you leave your dog at home!" Today we came upon a trail of dog poop near an area where a dog in training had been sitting with a couple. We found mall security and reported it. On our next lap around the mall, that same mall security person stopped us and informed us that we had to leave and not return. Three people allegedly reported that we were the ones who left the dog poop. He said they described someone carrying a small black dog. I asked to speak with management. The responding individual quickly ascertained that it wasn't us as my service dog walked between us and weighs just shy of 24 pounds, too heavy for either of us to carry around the mall. Needless to say, my service dog wouldn't make such a mess unless she was sick and I certainly wouldn't leave it. He was polite and welcomed us to stay. However, I found the incident disturbing. We left and I have no desire to visit again. They really need to redevelop this mall into senior housing or something as it is barely hanging on and some visitors seem increasingly rude and abrasive. Not my cup of tea.

When Herbergers left and Von Maur…read morestores started popping up I kind of refused to shop here because I felt like it would give me the same vibes as Herbergers... and it does minus the sales that Herbergers had. For sure feel like it's catered to the older crowd. We parked at Von Maur to cut through to the mall. A few things did catch my eye while passing so we ended up looking around a bit. I did find an item to purchase and walked a bit to find a pay station. When I walked up a customer and the cashier were deep into conversation about vacation and even with me waiting they carried on for 5 or so minutes after the fact. I ended up sitting in the chairs nearby to wait. I can say when they finally wrapped their conversation the cashier wasn't as friendly which made me think maybe I shouldn't purchase from them. There was no "thank you for your patience or waiting", "did you find everything okay" or anything. Overall the store is pretty neat and organized. Not a ton of staff around but also never seen a lot of people shopping either. Items seem to be good quality.

This Macy's is huge!…read more I don't typically shop at Macy's much (or any bigger retail store like this really) but we happen to find parking near this wing of MOA. I could see Macy's being a one stop shop, they sell a bit of everything; furniture, home goods, clothes, toys, snacks, cosmetics, jewelry, etc. They almost always have some sort of sales going on & you can find some good deals here or there. We stopped at the pandora counter (yes, inside of the Macy's). We were able to peacefully look around without anyone greeting us or pushing us to buy. However we then made the mistake of walking through the perfume department. They were a very pushy about selling, EVERY perfume was their last bottle. Macy's is known for being a fragrance HQ. They have many scents you can't find in store anywhere else. So it's nice to be able to go in a smell something before you drop money on it. They also do refills on certain perfumes which is nice to save money & reuse your bottle. I love perfume but I can only take so many different smells before it starts to give me a headache. Every counter wanted use to smell 3-4 different perfumes which was a bit much. Like I said before they offer so much here. Worth a browse AND they have Tii Cup on the 3rd floor of the store!!

I hate going into a store when I'm looking for something specific and it comes out the day I go in and they don't have it. This location is always punctual about putting the latest items out. The staff is super friendly and usually know what they are doing. They have great communication with management I believe and they all seem to know their stuff. It is also clean and neat. I love this because it makes it easier for me to shop. I hate walking into a disorganized Target. If wanted to shop at a place where everything is a mess I would just go to Walmart. The new drive-up option is the best thing ever! Especially in the winter. This location is quick about having your order ready for you.

I told a male staffer and he said it probably came from the pallets. He didn't seem too concerned, but will let the exterminator know. I had to walk to other side to regular checkouts and only one lane was open. I did self checkout and watched my steps more closely. This makes me wonder if other retail stores are like this? Was this a fluke occurrence? The store is very clean and not unsanitary. Luckily I saw it 50 some feet away. If it was closer, I would have screamed. Beware of any food or pet food you purchase here.

However; I also love coming randomly throughout the year to get updated clothing items. I typically like to check out under Armour and Nike, the Columbia store also has a separate outlet location as well. Recently, I feel like prices haven't been nearly as good as they used to, but in this economy, who can blame them. I would love to see a little bit more variation in the food court, it's mostly Asian cuisines and Cinnabon. All delicious but would love to see some more options. There's a ton of parking, but if you come on a busy weekend, you may not notice and still have to park far away. Bummed to see some recent retailers, leaving, they've been replaced with stores that my opinion were is great. Overall, a decent shopping trip, it's also in a great location. There's plenty of other stores/eating nearby. I recommend checking out the Twin Cities premium outlets if you haven't been there before.
