Ugggg! I saw a mouse inside Target!!! I picked up my online order of the newest Morgan Wallen cd and t shirt. I was walking and saw it run across the floor from some salt pellets. I told a male staffer and he said it probably came from the pallets. He didn't seem too concerned, but will let the exterminator know. I had to walk to other side to regular checkouts and only one lane was open. I did self checkout and watched my steps more closely. This makes me wonder if other retail stores are like this? Was this a fluke occurrence? The store is very clean and not unsanitary. Luckily I saw it 50 some feet away. If it was closer, I would have screamed. Beware of any food or pet food you purchase here. read more

I tried picking up a printer for work and tried picking it in the store when it was ready. I arrived inside the order desk and was ignored by the Target drones in red. No eye contact from the worthless staff. I waited long enough and left the store. I called the store later that same day and told the supervisor to cancel the order And that I would buy the same product from their competitor. I expected this bad service shopping at Wal-Mart but not from this overpriced Target location. Target employees need to be informed that we customers are your paychecks. Not TARGET read more

On a weekday afternoon at 5 o'clock on please accurately staff your store. Your self check out was about 20 people deep on both sides. Also you had TWO registers total open. They were also packed!!That is absolutely unacceptable. Guess what---the rest of us work 40 plus hours a week, we don't ask you to do our jobs. Last thing we want to do is pay inflated prices at your store, and then turn around and have to scan, put in produce codes , and bag our groceries! Unless you are going to start paying us vacation time, benefits, and other employment benefits -get some more employees! read more

I. Love. Target. So. Much. But. Please stock your shelves so when I do my weekly Sunday grocery trip I don't have to then follow up at another grocery store for all the items Target was out of. Simple things.... they didn't have frozen shrimp for over 6 weeks. Or red peppers. Really?! Red peppers???? The large jug of OJ... frozen broccoli... 1 lb packs of chicken... and the chicken they're carrying now is garbage. The quality is crap. We have had to toss out so many meals because of the quality of their chicken. It's inedible. I've had to bring back packs because of the quality and many times it only comes in massive 4lb packs. and yogurt! So many times I come they're clean out of yogurt. I feel like I'm not requesting crazy, unique, non popular items to be stocked in my grocery store. I'm asking for simple items to be there. I love Target for so many things. Clothes, makeup, toys, books, school supplies, home decor etc...... but please make my grocery experience better!!!!!! read more

Target - Department Stores Near Me - Burnsville, Minnesota

This particular location is one of my favorites! It is always up-to-date and has the latest items on time! I cannot stress this enough. I hate going into a store when I'm looking for something specific and it comes out the day I go in and they don't have it. This location is always punctual about putting the latest items out. The staff is super friendly and usually know what they are doing. They have great communication with management I believe and they all seem to know their stuff. It is also clean and neat. I love this because it makes it easier for me to shop. I hate walking into a disorganized Target. If wanted to shop at a place where everything is a mess I would just go to Walmart. The new drive-up option is the best thing ever! Especially in the winter. This location is quick about having your order ready for you. read more

I love Target's decision to introduce new brands to its customers. This location is great, the size of a super Target for reference. Food selections are scarce for the most part. Other parts of this location are steady. Thier seasonal areas are always fresh. Staff are helpful. read more

Great store for those ok with leaving with 5 items from a shopping lift of 30 items. Don't even think of going for 1 item, because it's guaranteed out of stock. This store is NEVER stocked, ever. I'm done with them. read more

Love this place with all my heart! I am telling you they have everything I need and didn't even know I wanted! How smart of Target to put a grocery store, minute clinic, eye clinic, pharmacy, and photo area inside my favorite store. This particular location has a full grocery store, and bakery, so I can get fresh foods on my way home. They sell everything a person could need, the problem is trying not to leave with a cart full of "wants". I tend to make the rounds to as many end caps to look for discounts and deals. I there is something you need from pet supplies to light bulbs to greeting cards, Target will have it. Sometimes this location does not have enough registers open and the checkout process is slow. *Best part* You can use manufacture coupons with Target text coupons, Cartwheel app deals, and get an additional 5% off total purchase by using your Red Card! Lastly, you will get 5 cents back for each reusable bag you bring, as well. People hate being behind me in line. (maybe that's why lines are so slow at Target?!) read more

I like the way they wash the carts and the keypads between customers. They are still low on goods most of the time.

One of the things I love the most about this Target is how welcoming it is, and how much diversity there is with the shoppers. The fellow customers are friendly and the employees are very helpful. Recently, I was using the Target app to try to find the location for the Beyond Meat burgers (side note: if you haven't tried them, you need to -- and Target has them for a great price!), but the app had the wrong location. A friendly food stocker noticed my confusion and helped guide me directly to the Beyond Meat burgers. Another time, I accidentally had the cashier scan my Target app before I had added a payment method. A manger came over and opened up a new register to re-ring my purchases so I could pay with the app. She was so friendly and laid back about the whole thing, and I so appreciated her patience and professionalism. You can get in and out of the store in no time when you just want to grab something quickly, but you can also linger and enjoy looking through everything they have to offer. Overall, this is a great Target! read more

Not my favorite or second favorite Target. I'd give it a 2/5 stars. The new layout they're trying with this store doesn't make sense. Not all the hand wash soap are in one location. Why?! Beats me. They're going for a more trendy display and layout of the store but the simplicity is almost gone. They have maybe 80-90% vegetable variety as they have at their other locations. I see this location is a little pricier than other targets I've been to. Is it location? Well not my fave of all Targets. I'd rather go to the Cub down the street to get my groceries half the time so not to be disappointed however I did leave today spending 4x I planned to as I ended up buying things for the week. It is convenient in some ways especially when it's freezing below windchill and the last thing I want to do is run multiple errands. On the plus side of things, it is clean, there is a Starbucks, staff are very kind and hospitable, there's a pharmacy, optical center, public restrooms, and carry most basic necessities. read more

Was hoping to pick up 5 things, and shelves still bare in areas so will need to stop somewhere else. Then there is the line to check out, I've seen shorter lines during Christmas week. What a waste, try another location unless you have a lot of time to do nothing. read more

I was very disappointed on a recent visit to the Burnsville Target. Went there with my four grandkids and was planning on our usual clothing buy, getting them an Icee and a hotdog. I had to explain to them why the cafe was replaced with a giant liquor store. Why do they think the world needs more drunks on the road or more alcohol addiction???? I will never set foot in there again. read more

It's red.. It's tan.. It's Target. I think they have their business operating model down to a science because everything always seems consistent. They have everything you need and typically always in stock. Never have any issues at this location. read more

Target - Department Stores Near Me - Burnsville, Minnesota

At Burnsville mn target. This is without a doubt the most poorly managed target ever when it comes to the cashiers. I am stuck behind two different carts in checkout lane 21 (the shortest of all the lines) and the cashier is scanning one item every 20 seconds on a huge order. No sense of urgency, oblivious cashier management are killing this location! You know it is bad when Walmart service is better! read more

This Target used to be a well-run and well-stocked store, however since its recent remodel it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that 1/3 of their shelves aren't stocked at any given time. There was a great deal of food shelves and coolers, along with other items, that were neglected and unstocked as well. Very unfortunate. read more

Went in hoping they would have what I was looking for: diet squirt, Clorox wipes and dusting air for computer keyboard. The first two items were a no-go, which I expected, there out everywhere. There were a couple employees in the section that were just standing there-I figured I looked well enough and continued on. Once in the dairy section an employee (Kenny) asked how we were and if we were finding everything we were looking for. He got on his walkie talkie and asked electronics and they did have some he asked that employee to point us in the right direction once we walked back over there. Most employees ask if they can help but you know they are asking because they have to but Kenny genuinely cared and helped...oh and I was impressed because he was putting a load of milk and things in the coolers, so he stopped what he was doing to ask us for help when the electronic employees weren't "working" and didn't ask anything. Kenny needs a raise and promotion!! read more

This is my "home" Target and have been shopping here well over a decade. Never had any issues although the lanes can get backed up a bit during peak hours (which happens at any department store). Staff is friendly and always willing to help you find what you're looking for. Employees genuinely seem happy at work which is something you won't find at places like Walmart. Looking forward to giving Target my business for years to come. read more

Had to leave because while you're doing this remodel, everything is super unorganized and not even on shelves anymore. I understand there is some transition time but if you want people to shop here you'd better figure out how to show what merchandise you do have. Anxiety inducing and very frustrating experience. read more

Anna at Customer Service of the Burnsville Target location just gave some of the best customer service I have ever seen in my life. She made a tough unique situation super easy for the customer. Thank you Anna!! read more

I am usually a huge Target fan, visiting way too often, however it is my 2nd time here this week and the lines have been terrible. Waited 15-20 minutes in line each time. Not sure what is going on, however not a good sign this early in the holiday season. read more

This is where it all started, my love for Target Stores. I like the face lift. I like the parking lot, a bit crowded on weekends and kind of difficult to get out of, but I like this Target very much. They almost always have everything I need in stock. read more

Always well stocked. I can easily find what I'm looking for as there isn't any clutter or out of place merchandise.

Target, how I love thee. In fact, so much so my husband wishes I wouldn't visit your stores so much. Hence the reason I am disappointed to write a negative review. But, I must. I have had recent bad experiences at this Target location. 1. I purchased a sale item (buy 3 of this item, get a $5 gift card). When I didn't receive the gift card I approached a manager who proceeded to fight with me in regards to receiving the gift card... even though she held the ad in her hand and saw the items I had purchased! Isn't the "customer always right" lady? 2. I went to return an item I had recently purchased. I thoroughly enjoy Target's "no need to keep your receipt, we'll find your purchase by using your credit card" policy. This time I attempted to utilize this service and the employee couldn't find my purchase on my card (and of course, I didn't have my receipt with me)... the only card I use to buy anything! I insisted that she run the transaction again. Still, she couldn't find the purchase. So, I had to head home and scour through receipts to find the proper receipt - only to confirm, yes I had purchased the item on said card. My only card used to buy anything! 3. I recently had a baby. I registered for a baby gift registry at Target. Several of the items I had registered for were given to me (duplicately), without a gift receipt and without being documented on my registry. When trying to return these items I was denied by the Target staff. Even after I pointed out the items on my registry, they would not let me exchange or return the items. It was quite frustrating, especially since I had brought several purchases to their stores for my baby gifts and baby showers! C'mon Burnsville Target! Step up your customer service!! read more

I drove out of my way to target thinking that they would have Matcha tea for as much as they like to carry the image that they stay up on health trends. Every time I come to the store I'm amazed at how fake and generic they are. They have several brands of cheap tea that say " Matcha". But it's not Matcha. What defines Matcha tea is ground green tea leaves into a fine powder form. That fine powder is then consumed entirely. That is Matcha tea. Target caries several assortments of cheap tea bags (like Lipton!) that say matcha to fool uneducated consumers into thinking they're actually drinking matcha - but they're not! They're only getting the taste of Matcha! No benefits people. There's no other reason to drink matcha. Wake up Target buyers. Wake up consumers. Don't let these buyers treat you like a fool. Dont be one. Target, as a side note, your private brand products suck too! read more

My favorite Target location. I'm here at least once a week. Clean, stocked, and the employees are always friendly and helpful. It all depends when you visit, weekdays/weeknights are great, weekends are an absolute madhouse. I like the location, it's kind of all by it's lone with just a few surrounding businesses. So there is not much around so traffic around which makes it nice. I'll be visiting again this coming week, I'm sure! read more

CARLA! At the customer service desk was sooooo helpful to me and my sister. We had quite a few returns and she was so kind and not mean like a lot of other people. Especially in Owatonna, MN - they are quite rude at customer service. Thanks so much for being so kind. read more

This is the best for buying things that you need but things are a bit pricey. But on the other hand the place looks very modern and busy. Not only that but, they have a little Starbucks store and a little store for popcorn, pretzels and much more. I recommend any family who likes to go grocery shopping at nice stores come here! There are some electronic areas where the kids can play with with modern consoles, cell phones, tablets and much more! read more

Okay, I love target but, the Burnsville location is in some serious need of employee consistency. Two days I came to return headphones I had bought two months prior. I had three the receipt and then was told to come back showing proof of my purchase, no problem. I came back two days later and spent 45 minutes working with 4 different employees on how to exchange headphones with the proof of purchase. Terrible customer service and very rude management, they seemed like they were all too busy to be dealing with my problem. So take the extra 5 min and find a new target. read more

Whenever i visit a Target store I hate Target more. Difficult to find merchandise if they carry it, rude pushy staff, definitely behind the times (thye just installed self checkout years after other stores). I used to shop the Target a few blocks from home, but they have decided they are too good to stock the things that brought me there and the staff are such stupid rude pushy Midwestern types. I was waiting in line today when some employee told me to go to another line at the other end of the store. I ignored her but she persisted and told me I want you to be able to leave quickly" I replied "I will leave quickly" and left my merchandise and walked out never to return. Wish Target would close and someone else would take the space. read more

I have a love hate relationship for this store. Its convenient and prices are generally good so I continue to come back. However, there is so much they can improve on! If something is on sale you have to watch the price that it rings up at. I always have at least one item that doesn't ring up at the sale price. Secondly, its always busy and you have to wait to checkout. To make matters worse they have an employee who walks up and down the cashier area screaming about which lanes are shorter or which cashier recently got someone to open a red card. She is so incredibly annoying and makes the whole experience more stressful. Lastly, they are always out of something and don't seem to manage their inventory well. The competition in this area is worse with the exception of Costco so it would be really nice if they would step it up a notch. read more

Love this store, have never really had a big problem with any of the team member. Store is usually fully stocked and have a nice wide selection of products! Also love that they expanded the self checkout section. read more

while shopping at target today i was followed by two police officers. very uncomfortable and made me feel singled out.

Better than Walmart. That's about it, good job with the lighting it always subconsciously makes me feel like buying stuff.

I shop at the Burnsville Target regularly, primarily because of the 5% off everything with the Target card. The beef and pork are filled with an unidentified "solution", which makes be buy meat at other stores. I LOVE the Archer Farms Bavarian Chocolate ice cream which I first learned about from Consumer's Report and now it's now longer anywhere that I can find. They also no longer have the whole wheat Nan (Indian bread) that I used to buy regularly. They just cut back on the selection of good cheeses and placed them in the deli case which I don't like. The store is always clean, relatively well stocked, friendly service, pack my groceries, prices are excellent, and the produce is good. read more

It is a nice store. Nice to have people who speak english. The employees in the Electronics area specifically the movie area are very knowledgeable. On 8/10/15 around 9pm. All 4 lanes that were open were packed. Only 4 lanes mind you. I was looking for backup cashiers to come. I saw one coming. Ran to her lane cause I only had 3 items. Diapers, formula and diaper genie bags. I got to the counter first. And an associate there. Said that I can't checkout here. Kicked me out and said I need to go to customer service to check out. I asked why. He said that I cut in from of someone that he opened the lane for. I'm sorry but you can't reserve lanes for people. I had 3 items and she had a cart full. I was rejected from the lane. I was there first!! How does that make any sense. The customer service lady didn't say one word. I of course was mad and the associate that kicked me out continued to yell at me from across the lanes and called me rude. I didn't do anything wrong. I ran to the 1st lane I saw opening. 1st come 1st serve is it not?? In short. I won't be coming here anymore. You lost a customer. Horrible customer service. read more
