After nearly 40 minutes of panicking, trying to troubleshoot the UTV, and even attempting to contact AAA, we were feeling completely helpless. As a last resort, I walked up a random road hoping to find someone who could help. That's when we met some of the kindest people we've ever encountered. They didn't hesitate to help us and even drove us back to the rental company. The driver introduced himself as Jerry. When Lesty texted to say he was on his way to deliver the Jeep to us at the airport, I couldn't believe my eyes when he showed up. But even better, there was an ice chest with Medalla Light and a bottle of champagne in the back! It. Blew. My. MIND! Trust me. To make things more challenging, most of the roads are quite narrow with little to no shoulder. If you're planning to drive to the middle of the island, like to the Orocovis area, you need nothing less than one of these Jeeps. Trust me on this! The roads are full of blind hairpin turns on the windiest roads you've ever encountered. YOU NEED THIS JEEP! Your life may depend on it. You do not want to be driving these roads with these crazy Puerto Rician drivers in anything less. I cannot say enough about Beep Beep Jeep's service--just perfect. Said he'd pick it up if I just left it in a parking garage in Old San Juan. And that's what I did--with only a half tank of gas (even though it was supposed to be full).
