DO NOT give them business they harass you at the ferry drop off and kidnap one person so they can go to where the rentals are about 10 minutes away driving. The rest of your group/party will have to wait for you at the ferry while you go pay $80 plus a two $500 deposit for the rental. At the end of the day, you also have to drop off the rental at their main location and will have to take a taxi back to the ferry. It was an awful experience where you literally feel like you're being kidnapped and they will do anything to rush you to sign for $$ Also, the UT is so slow, and the roads are really really bad. You will be driving like a grandmother to not flip over the rental. I do not recommend having a rental UT at all, and also the management of this company doesn't even let you wait inside for the taxi at the end of the day they literally make you sit outside their office in the blazing sun even when their office is empty. They literally do not care about anything but getting their greedy hands on a payment , horrible management

We had a great experience here! My boyfriend and I went to Vieques for the day for my birthday and decided to rent a UTV to explore the island. We arrived from the ferry at 5:30am so we watched the sunrise at a nearby beach and then took a taxi to the office once they opened. I thought I had booked a reservation for the day, but I had accidentally booked it for the following day, luckily the woman working at the front desk was very kind and was able to move some things around so we were still able to get a UTV rental for the day! It was so much fun and easy to drive and was super affordable, including the gas cost( $3 in gas and we explored a lot of the island). We returned the UTV and took a taxi that the woman working helped us book to get back to the ferry. The only thing is we went last week on 5/13 and I'm still waiting to get the $100 deposit back, but I'm sure I'll get it soon. Definitely recommend and we will be using UTV rental next time we're in Vieques!

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with this scooter rental shop. I spoke to the local…read moreworker yesterday about renting an RTV, and he told us they were sold out but advised us to come in person the next morning so he could set us up with a vehicle. We arrived as instructed, only to have the same worker rudely tell us that he's the only one working there and that he never specified he could actually help us. The lack of professionalism and customer service was shocking. If you're going to be in the tourism industry, you should at least have the decency to treat visitors with respect and provide clear, honest information. This place desperately needs employees who understand their job and actually care about helping customers rather than being rude and dismissive. Having a job is a privilege--no one is forcing you to work there. If you can't be bothered to treat people with kindness and professionalism, maybe it's time to find a new line of work. Tourists come here to enjoy the beauty of this island, not to deal with unhelpful and unwelcoming service. I would not recommend this rental shop to anyone.

This company did! We waited an hour, tried calling them back multiple times No answer? About 2 hours later they finally answered and then said we didn't tell them where we were?! Nonsense! of course we did. We had no choice but to leave the cart exactly where we told them and walk to an area we could call a taxi. I would give them -5 stars if i could!

It was a fantastic choice. Business hours from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. A standard rental day begins at…read more1 pm and ends by 12 pm on your departure day. If you are out of the business hours, the pick up will be next morning 9am. We booked one day ahead to pick up at 9am instead of 1 pm. It was worth it! Airport & Drop-off: The drop-off process is incredibly convenient. If you take the early flight, you can drop the car in a parking lot next to airport --2-3 minute walk with $25 drop fee. Work hours, they offer a prompt airport pick up and drop off. The most surprise part is I accidentally took the car keys with me back to San Juan! I was so worried about how to return her key or pay for the lost key, but Julimar was understanding I was rush to the airport. I communicated with her and shipped the keys back to her overnight using USPS, she did not charge any extra fees for that. I am trully appreciate. Vehicle Recommendation: We had a Kia, which was sufficient for most main roads. However, some roads on the island are quite rough/unpaved, so a Jeep would definitely be better, more comfortable choice for exploring. Thank you, Julimar, for making our trip so much easier. Highly recommend! The beach is beautiful in the island.

They said "that works just let us know tomorrow". I texted to let them know at 6:57am we'd need the extended time and they responded with "call in morning to see" and then turned around again and said no. We'd already booked something because they said it was fine just to let them know when we picked up. Also when I dropped off the car, she tried to tell me there was new damage to the car and had to show the video I took before leaving. ALSO on the rental contract it says there is a fee for returning with sand in the car or wet seats. In a beach town.... Go with Maritza's or Segura

I booked my reservation online at home on Ohio. It was…read moreextremely easy to do and never had any issues in common with Carlos Jeep Rental. What I liked about the service was letting them know west time the Puerto Rico ferry would be dropping us off on Culebra. They picked us up from the ferry and drove us 5 minutes to their business location. There must have been 7 of us waiting in line to rent a vehicle. The problem was there was only one girl doing all the paperwork. This took some time and you could see every one was antsy to move in with their day. She was by no means in a hurry to get us checked in and out the door. I will say there would have been no way we could have made it to our cottage located on one of the largest hills on the island that over looked Flemingo beach. We took the off road route to get to the beach instead of being with the crowd or having to pay the entrance fees per person and per vehicle. There was no way a golf cart or even a car would have survived that fort road and I'm still wondering if it was even a road. But the jeep did us well. We had no problems with it. Or was comfortable and my girlfriend was able to connect her iPhone and listen to her music and / or podcasts. The only issue was we needed to make sure to fill the gas tank back up before returning the vehicle. We finally found a gas station near the ferry dock but there was a large line to wait. They must only have one gas pump. Plus road construction didn't help us. We had a jeep to return and a ferry to catch, so we decided to pay the rental fee for gas. I found out that the price for gas was $17.00 a gallon. Luckily I only needed one gallon. I will use Carlos Jeep Rental when I return to Culebra island.
