Stayed for 5 nights with bf and we absolutely loved it. All the reviews that talk about how wonderful Gama and Leslaw are absolutely spot on. They are the best hosts, we took the rainforest tour and biobay tour with them. They also picked us up from the airport, took us to the grocery store and took us to old San Juan where we spent the last 2 nights of our vacation, they even gave us an impromptu tour along the way to the city and showed us the best spots in town before dropping us off. They are very friendly but not intrusive in any way. We followed their recommendations for snorkeling nearby Seven Seas beach (which is only a short walk away) and really enjoyed the two tours we took with them. I would definitely recommend that you take the tours with them rather than a big company, you will have a much better time and be allowed to go at your own pace. And you will learn a lot about Puerto Rico's natural environment, history, and politics. The apartment was great, it had everything we needed and was very clean. We made good use of the kitchen and really appreciated that they had stocked it with some staples - milk, juice, coffee. The grounds of the apartment are beautiful with amazing views of the marina and the islands off the east coast. I really enjoyed drinking my coffee in the garden in the mornings, so quiet and peaceful. We wanted a quiet peaceful vacation and chose to just spend 3 of our days leisurely walking around and going to the beach. However, you could pack in as much as you want as there is plenty to do nearby: the rainforest is a must-see, the biobay is once in a lifetime sight, there is a ferry to the nearby islands that have great beaches and snorkeling, you can also charter a boat to these islands (we chose to skip it as there is good snorkeling near Seven Seas which is a short walk away), there is a nature reserve right down the road, good restaurants, and a truly friendly neighborhood. We would absolutely stay here again, thanks Gama and Leslaw! read more

We rented this house instead of staying at a hotel, and we are so pleased that we did! It was like living in a Puerto Rican neighborhood for 5 days, with nice neighbors and private gardens to enjoy. Gama and Leslaw are wonderful hosts. There are plenty things to do locally and our hosts were very helpful with suggestions! We had more than enough to do, with part of 2 days spent snorkeling at a local beach, visiting El Yunque, and wandering around the neighborhood. We also took them up on their private tour of the bio bay, and snorkel equipment rental. Even though there was a full moon when we were there, the bio bay was still enchanting. There are so many nice restaurants within walking distance, including Kasavista and Las Vistas Cafe. The bedrooms are large and air-conditioned, which made for good sleep after a long day in the hot sun. The kitchen was well-equipped for home cooking, which was something we look for in a rental. We did bring our own spices from home, but the Econo grocery store provided everything else we needed. Our group didn't want to eat out for every meal, and cooking with all the fresh fruits and veggies was awesome. Our favorite part was the large, breezy balcony, with a table for four, a hammock, and 2 Adirondack chairs for relaxing. We played cards, ate our meals, and read books out there while we watched the water, full moon, and a rainstorm or 2. It was so much more memorable than staying at a generic hotel, and far better value than staying at a resort. You won't go wrong with a rental from Fajardo Rentals! read more

What a delightful place to stay! Amazing, heavenly, and very relaxing. Leslaw and Gama were spectacular hosts and were accessible 24/7. They made sure we were always comfortable and having a great time. Our apartment was very clean and comfortable fully equipped with fruit, snacks, juice, milk, great coffee, and toiletries. We rented snorkeling equipment for a small fee and were carefully told where to go for the best looks nearby. The highlight of our trip had to be the bioluminescent lagoon. We were SO GLAD that we rented Gama & Leslaw's kayak (as opposed to going on a tour) so that we could go at our own pace. They dropped us off at the marina around 5pm and pointed us in the direction of the mangrove channel which was so beautiful (make sure you start out when there is still light so you can see it!). And it was wonderful getting to the lagoon before anyone else was there. We even enjoyed some beers and delicious snacks which our hosts kindly packed for us! As the sun set we observed the transition of this big beautiful body of water turn into an enchanting, magical place which made us entirely giddy with excitement. We couldn't get enough and played there for hours. Gama and Leslaw picked us right up as soon as we called to say we made it back to shore, making it an easy, seamless experience. Oh, and make sure you go across the street to the fabulous little rooftop restaurant, Las Vistas. Absolutely stunning views. The four days we had here were just too short. My husband and I stayed at Fajardo Rentals for 2 wonderful weeks for our 25th Anniversary in February. The apartment was in excellent condition, clean, comfortable, quiet, safe and sunny as advertised. Loved waking up to the stunning turquoise ocean and island views while drinking coffee and relaxing on the spacious terrace. Also enjoyed lounging there in the cool breezy evenings after a fun day of swimming and snorkeling at the beautiful Seven Seas beach nearby. A warm respite from our cold northern European winter, especially after the 14 hour Condor flight from Frankfurt, Germany! We ate delicious fresh seafood lunches and dinners at several of the local restaurants a short walk away. Saved some money by preparing breakfasts and some lunches and dinners in the nice open kitchen. Had Dominos pizza delivered once when too tired to cook or go out ;-) Saved a lot by not renting a car and going on their Old San Juan, El Yunque and El Faro de Fajardo Tours plus shopping with our knowledgeable gracious hosts. This was my first trip to Puerto Rico and after checking the available hotel options I realized immediately that we wanted to try a condo rental. This one was perfect! It provided privacy and a perfect location for everything we wanted to do. Leslaw and Gamma were great hosts and had our condo perfectly set up. We had all the essentials set up in our fridge when we got there (coffee, milk, juice, fruit, etc). We enjoyed laying out in the hammocks on our porch and sipping coffee while staring out at the water from our balcony. The condo was just a short walk to the bioluminescent bay and seven seas beach. Directly across the street was a great breakfast place. We took the bioluminescent bay kayaking tour with Leslaw and it was great. We just wish we had taken the tour earlier in our trip. We left before sunset and he showed us a great secluded beach and the perfect spot for snorkeling. We managed to make it to the private beach before leaving PR, but need to try out the snorkeling on our next trip. After sunset he took us back to the bay and gave us a much longer, much better tour of the bioluminescence. this is something you definitely do not want to miss. We will definitely be staying here again and trying out some of the other tours offered. read more

Gama and Leslaw are amazing! My husband and I spent a lot of time searching for a place to honeymoon and I am so happy we found this apartment! Gama and Leslaw (The owners) gave us our 7th day free as a honeymoon gift, and only charged us $100 for the last day. They gave amazingly simple directions to the apartment. The apartment itself is beautiful (We had the top floor/with porch and hammocks) Gama and Leslaw have decorated it perfectly! The a/c is super nice to have, and the full kitchen made the whole trip more convenient! It was more like spending time at a family's home (but with more privacy) than spending time in a hotel. We spent our last night bbq-ing with Gama and Leslaw. We are definitely coming back! The only tip I can think of is to bring SPF 100+, the sun is crazy intense in Puerto Rico! read more

We were at this property last week and want to say Thanks to Gamalier de Jesus and Leslou. The place was neat filled with their personal touches...they did everything they could to make our stay as enjoyable as one can deserve.....the place was clean, everything worked...close to the fluorecent lagoon and lots of beaches around the fajardo and seven seas areas...lots of fun things to do like visit to the faro and el Yunque.....they got kayacs which they are willing to have you use plus snorkeling equipment....we are comming back with my inlaws..we had a terrific time... too short our stay...that would be my only complaint, but not their fault..I can blame that on us. We've stayed in holiday aprtments in many countries and this compares very favourably. Pretty spacious and well equipped, it benefits from a very large balcony with stunning views over the harbour, coast and surrounding islands. Is is extremely well situated, with the harbour and its selection of Puerto Rican seafood restaurants only 5 minutes walk away. 5 minutes drive takes you to further restaurants and some fantastic beaches. El Yunque and San Juan are within easy reach by car. What really makes the place spacial is the care that Gama and Leslaw take to ensure that you have a great time. We have never had such hospitable hosts and we certainly did. Thanks guys! read more
