Came by with my mom because she needed water and use the restroom! They're so nice to the elderly and to a surprise my mother forgot her phone in the restroom, while we were frantically looking for it on a trip, not knowing anyone here, they picked up and I was able to recover the phone. We met Dani, one of the cashiers. A beautiful heart and soul. She just really cares about the customers, complimented my daughter for her effort in college. We never met before, but Dani treats you like family. We were leaving and I thought if I had time I'd write a yelp. Then the next two guests (I later learned Sherry and Lisa?) - anyway, they were so excited to see Dani and I realized this is a super special person and Target employee. Thank you to the managers getting Cindy (at our request). So Cindy is the Store Manager or one of the top managers. And Thank You to Cindy for suddenly taking the time to talk to guests (It was 5 of us together by that point). Cindy was generous with her time to listen to the guests. We could see she makes an effort to make the Target employees feel valued. Sorry I didn't remember all the managers' names. There Are many reasons why I can say that a like target better than Walmart. 1of them would be quality, of absolutely everything in the store all the way from customer service, products that they sell, to the atmosphere in the store. This store Has The best customer service. If you are looking for something and you are absolutely lost, come up to any employees and I'm sure that they will walk you to the department that you are looking for. They would also tell their honest opinion about the product that you are looking to purchase. The store like any other supermarkets has a huge parking spot, so if you are coming on an expensive car or you just purchased one and you dont want anyone to hit it with their doors, you call always park some far away. There is always a lo of space. Their parking lots are very clean and well taken care of , so is their restroom. This store has absolutely nice and peaceful atmosphere, so you can shop here in peace lol. read more

Store is filthy! Went to bathroom and to run out! I can't get over how gross it is in there!

It's about 2:30pm on Monday October 2 and I was at Taget shopping for fun, fun! I'm looking thru the clearance, for stuff I don't need. Checking prices, reading prices, and asking for help with the correct prices listed. Anyways once I get up to the self-serve station to check out. Clearance items start coming up wrong. So I ask for help because I can't continue scanning. Kristi, Target employee, starts telling me that I will not get the clearance prices, and I need to pay what is scanning as. I informed her that, it's says is cheaper on the tag, yellow tags, and she says no, I need to pay the scanning price. She was very rude and did not want to even listen to me. I had several clearance items, so it seemed I needed constant help. KRISTI once again came over upset again, and starts taking over my whole scanning process with no concern for what i'm saying. Finally, I had to tell her to take almost everything off, because items were coming up wrong, and she just wanted to end my transaction. So she finally heard me, canceled my items and took my items in anger and just walked away. It was not a pleasant experience, when all I wanted to just shop for fun! read more

I've been coming to this Target off and on for 20 years, and visiting this location today I was shocked at what I saw. Multiple empty displays all over the store. Products out of place, or shoved in random places or on the floor. (The photos I've attached are of one aisle, but reflect the appearance of numerous aisles I walked through across multiple departments. The photos were also taken at about 11 a.m., so not the end of the day.) At one point I even wondered if maybe they were going out of business because it had that half-stocked, ransacked look to it. In addition to the overall poor appearance of the store, there looked to be a large restocking effort going on with carts of product at the end of almost every aisle, which I thought might explain some of the general messiness. So I asked the cashier when checking out. She said no, just that they were a bit short staffed. To me, it looked like no one cared. Like there was no one going up and down the aisles straightening them up throughout the day, although I did see many people stocking shelves. Overall, I don't think this location represents Target's brand very well. read more

on Nov 2022 I purchased a brand new kenmore vacuum cleaner and to my surprise I unpacked a defective customer return and a completely different item, I ordered bags for this vacuum cleaner together with the same order and it was impossible to cancel the order for the bags, I'll never buy again from Target. on Nov of 2021 my son had the same issue with a coffemaker he purchased at the same store, he got a defective customer return. it's just like robbery by selling trash products. read more

Bought a night stand, it was Almost completely put together and a piece of hardware was missing ! I went into the store and talk to the team lead and she's very adamant that I had to call the 800 number and wait for the missing part (a bracket to the drawer) and that they couldn't take the piece out of another one they had in the shelf. I asked her to ask another manager she said the other manager said the same thing. I've worked retail customer service for years and anytime anything was missing out of something id always take it out of another box IF we had one in store. After I left the store I called and talked to the store manager Jeff and he had absolutely no problem just taking the piece I needed out of another box and giving it to me so I didn't have to wait. I do enjoy target and over the years, (seems more recently) this target has just gotten worse. It's dirty, unorganized, messy, and has groups of vagabonds hanging out in the parking lot, in front of the store and stealing things in the store. Doesn't feel safe, which I feel is so sad. Would not recommend going here at night with your family. read more

It's June 2021. In California, the mask mandate has been lifted, however, Target in Redding allows its team members and team leads to harass other team members who have not received the non-fda-approved Covid vaccine. Staff seem to be completely fine with the fact that a large number of people walk around maskless or with their masks below their nose. This Target is great for the most part, but because I get prescriptions from here I come in up to a couple of times a week. The maskless people are annoying, but I understand how draining it is for the employees to have to babysit grown adults. Particularly annoying is the fact that 4 out of 5 visits I notice that any books on President Obama, President Biden, Vice-President Harris, or any topic left of center are covered up or turned around. I don't know if it is an employee doing it or a very tenacious (and uneducated) customer, but it's fairly ridiculous. I know this area leans extremely right wing (there are several active right wing militia groups and right wing conspiracies abound), but this seems petty in the extreme. This target location is one of the better target locations I've ever been to. Target is obviously a very big box department store and they have any locations throughout the country. And probably the world as well. And I have obviously been to many target locations. Are used to live in the East Coast in Massachusetts and I also lived in New Hampshire as well. They have tons of target locations out there and I have been to many target locations here in California as well. I said all that to say this is definitely one of the better target locations I have been to. First off, the staff that work at this location are very helpful. They did everything they could to help me find the items that I needed. I am slightly handicapped and it is not always easy for me to navigate big department stores. The staff at this location was unbelievably helpful and for that I will forever be grateful. They did Everything they could to keep a smile on my face and that is exactly what they did. They were also super kind to my daughter as well. My daughter is only 13 years old and she was looking for some of the toys that they had inside the location. The staff walked my daughter directly to the toy location and made sure she got everything she needed. We are super super happy to have them. We even like to buy the Aquaphor cream that they have at this location. It is great for my newborn baby read more

Just walked up to an empty customer service desk to be ignored by the person back there. All she's trying to do is call everyone in the store by walkie, didn't acknowledge me until I started to walk away, but then didn't even apologize for making me wait. Walked a few feet away to make this review and she had others walk up and she promptly helped them. They do not fill prescriptions on time ever! I've always had to wait everytime I needed a prescription. In addition, they are refusing to fill my prescription that every other pharmacy I've been to has filled without question! I recommend that NO ONE else goes to this EVER! I see that there are already so many poor ratings on this store. There's A reason why this target store has so many poor ratings. This target is so frustrating to deal with. Calling them is a never ending battle. This target is just like Walmart stores. They never answer their customer service phone. The fact you can refer to Target as "Tarzhay" and actually sound more intelligent for doing so, makes this store a winner.
