This Target can't get 5-stars off the simple fact, that there are no clothes in this Target. Your other desires were offered in store, including food, cleaning supplies, a baby section, etc. But my boyfriend and I came to this location for some last-minute clothing pick me ups during a brutal snowy weekend in the city.... Just hats and maybe some gloves, and this location 100% failed us. This Target in downtown Pittsburgh is a "small-format" store, so it contains fewer products than do regularly sized Target stores. Nonetheless, during my visit, I felt surprised and mostly pleased by the selection of merchandise. As I walked through the store, I noticed that the clothing departments were very small, but I thought that many other departments had a good variety of essential products that city dwellers and out-of-town vacationers could need. I saw groceries, cosmetics, hygiene products, cleaning products, kitchenware, office supplies, electronics, toys, gift cards, fresh flowers, Christmas decorations (in December), etcetera. I selected contact solution, shampoo, conditioner, and hand wipes. I did not see a face wash that was priced well so did not buy any. Two cashiers were standing near cash registers, but I used the self-checkout. The machine accurately scanned my items, and it charged me $0.10 for a paper bag. The machine also printed a parking voucher, although I did not spend the necessary $20 to receive it. I did not use the parking anyway. Overall, I think that this Target is an asset to the community, and I hope that it is profitable and can stay in business. read more

Excellent selection, service, and convenience. Store was clean, safe, well staffed, and prices were as expected for downtown. Missing electronics products we were looking for so that was the only disappointment. Received excellent service from employee for Apple charger we forgot to pack, she annoyingly escorted us through checkout as part of stores stop-loss prevention program - also annoying but completely understandable based on our disgusting society of thieves. Self checkout was fast and no charge if you don't use a bag otherwise $.10 each. Very convenient location! read more

It's an extremely small Target, it it has the basic things works and residential customers would need or want. There is an excellent food section which downtown residents can take advantage of.there is no clothing to speck of maybe your basic underwear but nothing much. I like the pharmacy cvs ! I would recommend this location, I will return !! read more

Went to self check out. Had issues. Went to get different product to try at register. Asked team leader Armani (woman) who was standing at register if she could check me out. She told me it is self check out and i can "do it myself " So went to self check out again and had to stand and wait whole 2 (not one) employees help me at self check out. If a customer asks for self check out they should be assisted I also had ALL clothes and had to wait again for them an employee to take off all tags Employees are clueless and rude. Downtown Pittsburgh is limited in stores for basics, so this store will do. Honestly store would be better run with no employees and computers, they know where nothing is in store and refuse to check you out when asked. Of course Armani is a tran leader, so says alot about the tean. read more

As someone who actually resides in the downtown area, nothing makes me happier than to see this Target! It has all of my basic necessities, it's convenient and DUH it's Target! What's not to like? I've been to a couple of micro Target locations in other cities and I'm happy to say downtown Pittsburgh location is spot on. Even better because of the food selection. Very clean and organized. Keep in mind this is a micro store and not a typical size with everything you can ever think of. Really happy with the food selection. This is a fantastic Target located in a place known to all Pittsburgh's folks of yesteryear You can tell your friends meet me by the clock. I drove there and parked in their well lighted basement garage with a dedicated elevator right into Target. Spend over $20 the free one hour parking voucher prints with your receipt This is the smallest target I have ever visited but it might be one of my favorites They do have many things the big one in East Liberty has but much smaller scale small appliances yes but only 1-2 some bedding very small amount of clothing as in very small but they do have a decent amount of underwear and socks some essentials for kids cleaning supplies and soaps and other toiletries much less then the big but enough to choose from small pet section nice grocery selection Many of their own label organic items which pleases me Everyone working there was nice and friendly Easy check out what a fantastic addition to downtown Pittsburgh I can get lost looking in big stores this one is just my size Use the app before you go then you will know what they have and don't have read more

The parking garage in this downtown Target is awful! Narrow access lanes to even park. I gouged and scraped up my right rim tire and scratched my right backside on the corner pillars because turning my car to the next level was so tight. Don't even attempt to park in this garage. I've been waiting for this new Target ever since I moved here in late 2021, and I could barely contain my joy when it finally opened. I live two blocks away and it has made my life so much easier. No, it doesn't have everything you'd normally find in a Super Target (which you can't reasonably expect at such a prime location in Downtown Pittsburgh), but it does have all the essentials. I've never had trouble finding what I needed, be it fresh food, cleaning supplies, even comfy socks! This location is kept exceptionally clean and is frequently rounded by security who are both friendly and efficient. The staff is helpful and respectful as long as you too are respectful to them. Just as a note, it's not ideal for someone in a car; there's no place to park other than a few parking garages nearby. However, it's perfect for anyone on foot, and not at all hard to walk to if you're at a show nearby or attending a sporting event. I absolutely love this Target and I'm thrilled to have it nestled in Downtown Pittsburgh. read more

I needed some grocery items and my wife raved about this Target. There is one good thing about this Target. The first and major thing is that there is free parking as long as you spend at least I think it was $20. For being in the city that is a huge convenience as there is nowhere generally to park and certainly not for free. The store itself is very small compared to average Target stores. This is the size of a small convenience store. The selection is not great but there is a little of everything. The prices I noticed on many items are more than at my local Target. I was going to buy one item and noticed it was $3 more than I normally pay??????? I did not notice all the price differences but there is definitely enough for me to say I would not go back again. I think the parking in the middle of the city is a big plus , but I probably overpaid for a lot of the items so I could have gone somewhere and paid for parking. I would not recommend this Target at all unless you where desperate. I will not be going again. If you go please no your prices. read more

Website/google does not make it clear this place is a miniature target. Identically sized to a dollar general or Walgreens. One bathroom for the entire store that needs to be unlocked. Super weird, never seen anything like it. read more

I was so ecstatic to find out that they had built a Target downtown! Very necessary! I have to say this is my favorite target! For multiple reasons, let me explain. The Target is small, so don't expect it to be large but it has everything you need. Everything is organized and the store is so clean. From the moment you walk in to the moment you check out. The experience is fantastic. They have a small clothing section and a small grocery section. The grocery section has your essentials, from dairy products, fresh produce, bread and etc. When checking out, their are multiple self checkout kiosks and also a checkout kiosk with a target sales associate. I've been to this target several times since its opened and its always been clean, stocked, organized and staff has been very helpful. read more

Absolutely love! It's smaller than a usual Target due to the downtown urban environment, but it has all the necessities you'd need if you live here. I no longer have to drive to get groceries! Great time to be a downtown resident. read more
