This store is terrible. It is ALWAYS filthy, and I am constantly a witness to employees sarcasm and lack of work ethic. Every time I come here I am disappointed by the cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff. While I feel they have a decent grocery department, the other parts of the store, ESPECIALLY the clothing and shoes are a joke. I do not enjoy shopping here because everything is filthy all the time. They should really make placing things back and giving things a vacuum or sweep a priority. I was in the dressing room and there were hairs and pieces of lint (I hope) everywhere. Wasted way too much of my time on an error that could have easily been avoided & have ignored any contact I've made to try to resolve this at the store level- resulting in hours spent on the phone trying to fix an issue that should never have happened- since they can't seem to be bothered with replying to my concerns- & it's been nearly 10 days so sufficient to reasonably expect a response- I share them with you here so you can hopefully avoid wasting as much time as I had to calling in- which also I was hung up on unduly several times before I was even frustrated enough to have an escalated conversation. Whenever I head up to Utah from Las Vegas, this is always my first stop heading into Salt Lake! Their deli chicken tenders are amazing! They have their own parking lot, huge grocery section, Pizza Hut Express for the road, a great music section, and the best pastries in the bakery area. Store includes Pharmacy, Photo, Optical, Portrait Studio, and a U.S. Bank Branch- everything a SuperTarget should have, along with 32 checklanes to speed you on your way. I completly agree, take a look at this Orem SuperTarget before you ever go to the "w" store again. The food is cheaper, the people nicer, and the store cleaner. This location has extened hours too! 5 stars for the Orem SuperTarget... I love the classic "Target Neon" inised too! read more

Wow. Rarely have I seen a super-store worthy of five stars. Within its category, this particular SuperTarget stands so far out that you can't even detect any competition from here. Nor would you need to. This place has everything you could ever need. The first thing you notice about the evident remodel are their new Jetsonian shopping carts. It's ultra-light, and ultra-bright red, so you don't miss it and "accidentally" leave it by your car as you drive away. They're fun, easier to push around than most, and can haul a lot. So, you grab one, and head on in...upon entering, I thought for a second that I may be onstage. It's brightly lit, but not obnoxiously so. It's laid out well, so you don't spend a lot of time aimlessly wandering trying to figure it out. The grocery aisles are wide, with a great selection. Their private label brands, Archer Farms and Market Pantry, are not too bad. I've tried several items and have only been disappointed a couple of times. Associates are friendly and helpful, and seem like they enjoy working here. There's no terribly annoying music playing, nor nasty smells to deal with. It's clean and shiny. Oh, and there's a Starbuck's, if you're into that. Once it's all said and done, no, you won't get out of here for as cheap as you would at Walmart. But if you value your sanity, time, and possibly even freedom, you're much safer shopping here. read more

I've been in this place several times now and every time it is a hot mess. You can't even look at the clothes they are so tightly packed on the racks. It looks like no one ever bothers to put anything back in its proper place. The rest of the store is much the same with random items everywhere. I'm not sure what the issue is but overall an unpleasant place to shop. read more

Everything I needed was in stock. I had several employees ask me if I needed help in different parts of the store, not just close to one area. Greeted upon arrival and was asked if I needed a basket or cart and employee showed me the deals that were right by the door. As huge mega box stores go, Target really is the best. I don't do clothes shopping. I occasionally get food, but the checkers are pretty horribly slow when dealing with food that doesn't have a bar code on it. They also don't carry much of the speciality items they carried when they were new. I do purchase various other items here. I got the Fitbit, Sonos, some furnishings for the basement, that kind of stuff. If I was looking for a toaster oven, I'd be here in a second. It's nice to have it around when I need something. Oh, Target, you are one of my favorites. This store especially because it houses a Starbucks so I can get my caffeine fix while strolling down the aisles. Talk about a one stop shop, get your groceries, school items, clothing and more here. This is a very clean store, well stocked, and plenty of moving room. Went shopping for a clever bookshelf in the shape of stairs. I've purchased this item before, in 2007 at the Sandy Utah Target, and I wanted another for my children's homeschool books. On 08/18/15, I sauntered into Super Target with my helpful husband (pack horse) at my side. Walked up to the wallets, where everything looked a bit shuffled. Came upon the Women's workout clothes and found most of the merchandise on the floor. Then, I saw the shoes. Not only were 75% of the merchandise on the floor, there were carts abandoned in the aisles, more merchandise stacked in the middle of the aisles, and customers climbing over shoes to find shoes. Hazardous? Yes! Disappointing? Yes! I realize that they had a sale, but come on! Hire more people! This was unacceptable! I snapped a bunch of photos. I actually asked customers to clear out of the wreckage so they wouldn't be caught on film. Every customer said the same thing, "What happened? Why aren't the employees over here to clean this up?" It looked like there was an earthquake and all the merchandise fell to the floor! Luckily we found what we came for and jumped over shoe hurdles to check out. Although I must say, I have had to ask wondering associates to go in the back and retrieve items not on display....even though they were fully stocked in the back (and I checked every day for that product...honestly, they were too lazy to restock the shelf). Target, please hire more employees that actually like to work and keep your store tidy! Nobody likes to shop in a mess! If I wanted to sort through merchandise on the floor, I would have gone to a garge sale! read more

Target is wonderful. I don't know why I don't think to go there more. I love the Starbucks in the store and the new remodel. Their carts are the nicest. Walmart has crappy carts but the Target ones are quiet, smooth, and easy to push. The store is always neat and clean and the staff friendly. My only complaint is that they don't open until 8:00 am. Smiths, Ridleys, Walmart, and everyone else is open at 7 or are 24 hours. When work starts at 8:00 you need to grab stuff beforehand and I usually can't choose Target. read more

Customer service staff was incredibly rude about a return for a purchase made online. Came close to flat out accusing me of shoplifting. I will never shop here again. I realize the futility of that statement, but if they continue to treat people rudely then I'm sure more will follow. read more

Went to purchase my son his paw patrol fire truck. All the products were stacked w signage of $49.95, went to register and rang up $59.99. I asked if they would honor their signage bc it was all clearly stocked there. The associate said yes, let me just get approval from the manager, Kelly. Kelly refused to honor the pricing stating that it wasn't her fault, even though it was clearly marked and she is the manager who can easily price adjust. She was very rude about the situation and not understanding at all and didn't even fix the signage just walked away. This is insane, somebody needs to talk to this Kelly about customer service and how to properly manage a store. Maybe she was better as an associate?? Probably not, but we will give the benefit of the doubt unlike her.. read more

We went in to get started on Christmas gifts, and I noticed that the price was different on my phone than the price ringing up. Turns out it was the online price. The self check out associate was quick to come over and corrected the price and told me to go ahead and price check all the other toys if I wanted to, and it saved me over 45 bucks! I had never heard about price matching online prices. She was so helpful with a situation we were having with a gift card too. Best experience. read more

It's at my own expense that they falsely advertised a sale. It says that this the wrong item is on sale. I had to walk all the way back to the movies to take a picture and show the cashier that the movie I scanned was the one with the sale. And she dismissed the fact that they misplaced the sale and made me walk back to the movies a third time to return it and grab the one that's actually on sale. The employees are almost always friendly and willing to help even when asking a woman about the material in men's underwear lol. Inventory is awful. Employees are unhelpful. I can never find the games that I would like to buy. A few months ago, I tried to buy Diablo 3 for the PS4 but they did not have any in stock. Today, I tried to buy Ni No Kuni 2 but there was none in stock. Whenever I want to buy a game, they do not have the game in stock. I checked their website and there seems to be plenty of Ni No Kuni 2 games at the American Fork store. Every time I cannot find a game, I ask a store clerk. The store clerk will just check the inventory and say, "Sorry! It's not in stock." Other game stores will help me find the game I want. Do not waste your time by going to this store. Just buy stuff from Amazon instead. Amazon has the games I want in their inventory. Target Orem does not. read more

Photography Studio was Great. It was my first time getting professional photos of my 6 and 3 year old. We had Maddison as our photographer and she was really good and SUPER patient. My kids actually had fun with the process. We used a coupon off the Target website and saved a ton of $ -so definitely go online and print that or have it on your phone when you go in. This woman, in a bun, I don't know what her job position is but she was the most inconsiderate employee I have ever met. She yelled at me and my friends, quickly judging us and threatening us that she would call the cops on us because we were running to the restroom. I was trying to find the restroom and I needed to quickly use the restroom, however, according to this woman... we can not use the restroom? I guess the target employee didn't understand that one of my friends needed to use the restroom desperately. I wanted to report the incident to the manager because she was so rude to Targets customers. We were trying to get our groceries, however, after her behavior and attitude I didn't want to continue shopping here. I would rather drive to a Target five hours from here than ever approach her. She permanently ruined my Target experience here. Don't get me wrong, I love target... but she should not represent Target in that manner. read more

I am extremely disappointed in Target's customer service. I received a Nintendo eshop game card ($70) for Christmas. When I went to redeem the card, I noticed there wasn't a code on the physical card. I looked the card up online to see where the code was located and to my surprise it was printed on the receipt at purchase. The Target employee who helped check out the person who gave me the gift didn't say (or didn't know) that the code was on the receipt and now the receipt is lost. I called customer support and spoke to a target representative who could barely speak English who ultimately told me he doesn't know what to do. I waited for 30 minutes at one target for an employee to tell me she couldn't help. And as a last attempt I went to another target where I was told there is no way to redeem the code. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? There has to be a better system for these eshop cards. Employees need to be educated and trained so they can tell customers details like this. $70 waisted and I was told "if you have a problem with it, call Nintendo". read more

I love Target for their "dollar shop" stuff, groceries, and other random things. I mean, they have Einstein Bagels IN the store. Also, when they have them. When Target employees pour BLEACH in your bag.. Used the drive up service for the first time today at your Orem, UT location. Bought two pairs of shorts for my daughter for a trip we are leaving for on Thursday.. pulled the shorts out of the bag and noticed they were soaking wet!! All the sudden I could smell BLEACH. My husband flipped on the light in the car, sure enough the shorts were covered in bleach, bleach was all over my hands, and ruined my clothes I was wearing! The smell was overwhelming, we had our 4 kids in the car!! Typically I would think that somehow bleach from another order leaked onto my order BUT the outside of the bag was completely dry! There was only bleach on the inside of the bag and all over the shorts. I went inside and got in the pick up/customer service line. I was greeted by Austin. I told him what happened to my order..his reaction? Nothing. No shock. No apology. NOTHING. He walked over to see if he could switch out the shorts for me, only able to switch out one pair, he recommended I get refunded for the other pair, and that I would need to rebuy them. Didn't offer to try to get me free shipping or any type of apology for the situation. Leaving me paying shipping and my clothes covered in bleach. Again, with no apology. He walked me over to a register where I politely asked to talk to a manager because I felt this situation was not being taken seriously. He told me he was the manager, accused me of lying by saying he "doesn't understand how this could happen and couldn't see how it would happen". When I asked to get a number for someone higher up at the store he got mad at walked away. I told him I just wanted someone to help me. He then turned around and YELLED at me from the customer service area. Everyone around turned to look. I have never been treated so badly in my entire life. He walked in the back and I stood there, all eyes on me.. never saw him again. Finally Lisa walked out, listened to my story, never apologized for the situation (though she was being kind to me at least), then magically was able to do what Austin (the manager?) couldn't do. Got my exchange done, other shorts refunded, and a new order with free shipping. I still never got an apology of any kind. I left the store in tears, embarrassed that I was yelled at in front of the entire store. My hand was burning from the bleach that had now sat for 40+ minutes while I dealt with a horrible customer service experience, while my husband had to sit in a car that smelt like bleach with our 4 young kids for 40+ minutes. On our way home after seeing how upset I was, my husband called the Target to get a number for corporate and they refused to give it to us. Major red flag. How can Target treat their customers this way? How can they justify employing people like Austin who yell at customers from across the store? I used to think that my Target back home was great because it had two stories...that's high class right there. But this Target is amazing. It's huge, for one. Super Targets are a great one-stop shop. Please, oh please don't go to Walmart when Target is only a few miles farther. There are many reasons for my affinity to target. I think I shall discuss them by section of the store (don't worry, I'm not going to talk about every isle). Movies It's true, they don't have EVERY movie that I've been looking for, specifically The Legend of Bagger Vance, but they do carry a decent selection. It's difficult not to snatch up a DVD that's on sale for $13.78, $10.00, or even $5.00 - even when I don't care for it all that much. They constantly have movies on sale, so I always check whenever I walk into the store. Clothes I've got to hand it to Target, they make a good amount of clothes that I love to buy. There are some items that you wonder what the person was on when creating such crap, but most of it is very cute and standard. Best of all, it's really inexpensive, especially if you catch Target at the right time and find racks and racks of clothing at 30% off or more. I am usualy wary of the quality of clothes when it's so cheep, but Target really hasn't let me down in this department. Organizational I went yesterday, disappointed to see that all of their wood hangers were out of stock. But that's not enough to discourage me. This place typically has a bunch of stuff to help you get organized, which is key for me. Unfortunately, whenever I come there seems to be some newly engaged couple roaming this isle with that gun they give you when you want to register. Why would you be tagging hanging shoe racks and drawer organizers? Food For the most part, Target has a really good food selection. When I went yesterday they had a nice selection of green leaf lettuce, which surprised me because I usually don't depend on Target for my produce needs (not always the freshest). Everything is pretty easy to find, and they usually have a good sale on Lean Cuisines that help me with work lunches. The only gripe I have from my last trip is the frozen pizza that I bought. Target's Archers Farms brand is more expensive than even some of the name brands, but I saw this pizza that looked really good when I bought it. For some reason, I thought that it was an alfredo chicken pizza, but instead it was a roasted garlic pizza. This wouldn't be bad except for the fact that the pizza was paper thin and had more garlic and onions on it than I could stomach. I ended up giving it to my friend who will pretty much eat anything. But aside from that, I'm never a unhappy customer. I want to stress how much I love Target over Walmart. Granted, Walmart is open 24-hours a day, which is potentially very convenient; however, I don't really find a hankering to buy groceries or a new rice cooker at 3:00 in the morning. In addition, the quality of Target products exceeds that of Walmart by far. read more

Ordered something online for my son and had it shipped to the store. It was suppose to be delivered on Friday July 28th and then I was to pick it up after it arrived. Instead it was delivered to the store on Tuesday July 25th while I was out of town, I called and told them I was out of town and would be back on the date they said it was suppose to be delivered on. Instead of holding the item for me until Saturday my order was canceled on the date it was suppose to be delivered. I was told I could reorder it. Nope sorry my money is going to go somewhere else. Quinn is the greatest grocery packaging technician of all time, and deserves some recognition. I asked him if he teaches others, and he said he didn't, but that he has been bagging groceries for at least five years. His expert eye identified properly that frozen foods go with other perishables, like sized boxes go together, heavy items go on the bottom, and bread goes on top. He even put the extra yogurts in a smaller bag. It is sad how many grocery baggers do not understand these things. There should be a special course, taught by Quinn as Professor of Grocery Packaging Technology, for bagging novices who put hot deli foods with frozen and bread with the canned food. It's a Target. It's one of the better ones I've visited though. It's always very clean and the employees are helpful and friendly. Returns at guest service are quick and hassle free, checkout is efficient, and the Starbucks has consistent Starbucks coffee.
