I came to Kohl's just to go to Sephora. I purchased some foundation and when I got home, I realized the foundation had already expired a month ago. I don't know if the make up just doesn't sell at the store fast enough. But definitely check the expiration dates because paying $60 for foundation only to find that it is expired is a bit of a pain. read more

I shopped at Kohl's today looking for a particular brand of socks for my grandson. I was in a hurry and had no idea where I might find these socks. I saw a sales person named Cossette. She took me to where the socks were but they didn't have the the size I was looking for. She checked her phone and found there were more socks in the shoes section. First to start with I went to the Sephora to buy a birthday gift. But once we came to pay for the gift we gave the cashier 25 dollars and gave 10 more dollars. The whole issue is that present costs 24 dollars and we already gave 35 but we got only 7 cents change. All happened is cashier was trying to steal 10 dollars from us. But never in my wildest dreams would I expect one of their customer service representative to mutter under their breath The word Nigro. I'm generally not a Kohl's fan but, I needed a blender and was in the area. I've been through about 3 blenders in the past couple of years. Don't know if it's the brand I'm getting or what? Whatever! Kohl's used to be my favorite place to get clothes when I shopped in the juniors section. But now that I shop in the women's section I didn't find much that I liked. I did find one tank top that I would have bought but it was 30$ and I couldn't bring myself to spend that on a tank top. read more

Haven't shopped at this location in a while. Typically find the store in disarray, understaffed, and cluttered. In need of travel clothes, took a chance coming in today and found the store much more tidy than previous visits. Not crowded. Still seems understaffed but workers doing a good job trying to keep up with duties. Music awful! read more

Have always had good service at the Kohl's in American Fork. They keep it pretty clean and have friendly associates. My only complaint is that sometimes I can't find my size clothing...I think it must be a very popular size. They send out coupons in the mail if you subscribe (for free) to their Kohl's Rewards program, so if you wait for a 30% off coupon and hit the store during their biggest sales events, you can usually get a good bargain. My only complaint is that I wish they carried more brands. They seem to stick to (for men): Dockers, Haggar, Arrow, Columbia, Levi's, Lee, Nike, Adidas, Rock & Republic, Marc Anthony and a few others. Their in-house brands are Sonoma, Croft & Barrow, Apt. 9, and Tek-Gear. Some of the store brands aren't the best quality, but some of them seem to be very durable; have held up for 10 years or more. read more

Typical Utah customer service, not good. My wife had purchased some Christmas items that did not fit. We tried to return them in Feb. but 2 of the items we could not find the receipt (who has a filing cabinet big enough to hold all their receipts anyway) or which card it was purchase on, maybe cash. No problem, they told us we could just exchange the items for anything in the store with the same retail value...that sounds good but finding an item of the exact same value is not that easy. We could not find anything at the time but they assured us it was ok we could do it any time. We went out of town most of March and early April. I finally found some time to run those little errands we all put off because we have created a lifestyle of "on demand" service with our cellphones and internet that was supposed to simplify our lives (sarcasm)...sorry. Anyway, after spending an hour in the store locating matching items, I went to the counter and they told me the policy had changed and could only give me the last sale price which was like $2-5 per item (approx $15 and $20 value orig.) I asked to see the manager and she just reiterated the clerks statement and told me they had change the policy a "while ago", A MONTH (really!!). I explained that this was not the policy we were told and believed they should honor it. after going several rounds with her and hearing her say "your LUCKY we let you bring things back this late". I had had enough and began to walk out, then realizing there was nothing I could do with the items I turned and tried to give the items to her explaining I had no need for them, she refused to take them and said " we can return them", me "For $2, no thanks, I'm done" I dropped the items on the nearest stand and walked out. (childish, yes...irritated, HIGHLY). Watch out for the customer service at this store! read more

Went in to use a $10 off $30 coupon that I received by email, picked out some Nikes, and when I went to the register was told that Nikes were exempt - I asked the salesperson where it said that on the coupon and was told "I don't know - Sorry abouy that". It turns out that the disclaimer about Nike is 2 clicks away in small print. Pretty cheap sales tactic Kohls. read more

This review won't necessarily be about the store though I'll touch on that briefly. The store is nice and you usually find what you need but in a lot of areas it's a mess. The aisle are too narrow (clothes racks are way too close together) and no one is around if you need help with anything (they seem to be up at the front registers and even then they don't seem to adequately staff them). The reason for this review is to point out their Kiosk system in the stores. For those not familiar with these kiosks, if you can't find the size/color, etc of the item you're looking for you can go to one of the Kiosks to see if you can have it shipped to your house. Theoretically this is a brilliant idea but how this system was designed and/or how it operates is a customer service nightmare. If this system is truly there for sales and service it needs to be revamped. The system should be responsive to touches, giving CC information should be streamlined and overall the process needs to be cut down by 5 minutes if it's really going to be utilized by more than 4-6 people an hour. Three likes... 1. Kohls is conveniently located 2. Usually a great stop to get the clothes, shoes and even toys for your family 3. Good merchandise selection Three areas for improvement... 1. Aisle management (one of your carts should easily go down each aisle and be able to make every turn without knocking over merchandise) 2. More carts (if we get one it's usually because we found the one in the parking lot because there is never any at the entrance) 3. Fix the Kiosk system (see review above) - I would be willing to be part of the UI testing even...please just fix it or get rid of it Overall, Kohl's is a pretty good place to shop. I know my wife likes the store and is always a place on here Black Friday places to be so give them a try but don't go in with really high expectations or you might leave disappointed. read more

I think I just had the best shopping trip ever at Kohl's in American Fork! Even though I ended up ordering one of my items online (due to the size not being in stock on the store) I would definitely go back for the great customer service.
