As I found out because I called my insurance company to request this a refund I had to pay out of pocket to get new glasses. Prior to getting new glasses I called my insurance to make sure I knew exactly what my budget was and make sure when I went to pick out new glasses I stayed within my budget. My surprise when the worker told me that would be $30 that my insurance wouldn't cover. I asked her what it was it for she really couldn't give me an clear answer of why I was being charged $30 out of pocket. Instead of fighting with her because from the instant I walked in I noticed she had an attitude and was very rude not just to me but the other customers so I decided I would just take it up with my insurance company. Call my insurance company let them know what was going on and thought maybe the worker I spoke to prior gave me the wrong information. Nope my insurance company informed me that I was well within my budget and I should not have been charged $30 out of pocket. They asked me to email me a copy of my receipt which I did and that's what I found out that they were trying to scan my insurance company out of money because the amount that they claimed my glasses cost and the amount that was actually on the receipt was off by a couple hundred dollars.

I came in the late afternoon/early evening to order boxes of new contacts. All employees were busy helping other customers; however, I was greeted promptly and informed someone would be with me shortly. Thank you for not ignoring me. I was helped by a gentleman named Khal. He looked over all my paperwork, gave me several options for ordering and was very knowledgeable. He also answered several questions that I had about brand (switching to another brand, etc). I very much appreciated that he let me know about the option to have my contacts shipped to my home vs. having to come back into the store. As a busy professional, my time is important to me. The store was very neat, orderly and clean. The employees seemed very courteous to everyone. I also over heard an employee, might be the same gentleman that helped, speaking in Spanish to a customer (important to have bilingual employees). Overall, an errand that good have taken a long time and been frustrating was quick and I walked out very happy. Thank you Rachel M.

Every single staff person there went above and beyond to make it a great experience. They were friendly, knowledgeable, communicative and listened. My first appointment was the the very end of the work day, on a holiday (Valentine's Day) and no one was rushing me to out the door. In fact, they assured me they'd stay as long as I needed them to stay. I went back today to pick up my glasses and was treated warmly and welcoming, like Id been a client for 10 years instead of 2 weeks. They gave me "lessons" in how to adjust to my progressive lenses. Highly, highly recommend.

The first time, the prescription was clearly wrong. When I came back to get it fixed, instead of resolving the issue smoothly, I was told their machine was broken, causing even more delays and excuses. At that point, I had already wasted multiple trips, time off my schedule, and plenty of patience. There was no urgency, no accountability, and no real effort to make things right. When you're paying good money for prescription glasses, basic accuracy and quality control should be the bare minimum--and they couldn't even manage that. I would not recommend Eyeglass World to anyone who values their time, money, or vision.
