So, I have quite a few glasses, Cartier, ic! Berlin, etc. I tried on a pair of IC, the guy gave me…read morea price for prescription including the glasses. I asked him for the name of the glasses and he said we don't give out the names of the glasses. So basically what he's saying is he's afraid the price may be more than at other boutiques and doesn't want me to price them out. That alone is telling me he's hiding price on the glasses. I needed to know the size of the lens so as to compare my other IC's for prescription purposes and size over my eye which I could compare online then order them there if I wanted something larger etc. But this practice of not telling a customer the name of the frame is a very deceptive practice. If they're pushing the price up too high and have to hide that it should tell you everything you need to know. Dishonest. I won't be back. You know I know that the names are on the frame I asked him for the name of the frame and he wouldn't give me the name or hand me back the glasses. He simply said we'll have the name in our computer here for you. That's not forthcoming!

(it's hard enough trying them on when you can't see. There's nothing worse than someone saying everything looks good on you, because let's face it that's not true) Dai helped me out and he was awesome from start to finish. I told him I'm find to be pushed out of my comfort zone and he did it. He walked though what we discovered what looks best on my face. So I feel confident that I could go in next time and say exactly what pair I am looking for. He was super friendly and helpful. I was a little worried that the location would mean these glasses would be more expensive than the silhouette glasses I would usually get, but I was surprised that they were much cheaper. I was able to get two pairs for almost the price of one of my old go-to brands. They have a fun and some very unique glasses. I am getting so many compliments on my new ones. I recommend them and especially Dai for helping you step up your glasses style.

Lost a Valued Customer of Four Years Over $190…read more I've been a loyal customer here for over four years and have purchased more than 20 pairs of glasses, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I ordered prescription Ray-Ban glasses, and when they arrived, the Ray-Ban logo was missing from the frames. Naturally, I questioned it because the branding is part of what customers expect when purchasing Ray-Bans. I was then told that in all the years the optician had practiced, he had "never seen that happen." Instead of helping resolve the issue, the blame was placed on me for "not requesting" that the Ray-Ban logo be on the glasses. Let's be realistic -- I'm the customer, not the manufacturer. Why would anyone intentionally purchase Ray-Ban glasses without the Ray-Ban branding? The entire point of paying for a designer brand is to receive the authentic product as expected. What should have been explained from the beginning is that authentic Ray-Ban branded prescription lenses and frames may need to be ordered directly through an authorized Ray-Ban dealer or manufacturer. Had that been communicated honestly upfront, I would not have wasted $190. Instead, I had to purchase another pair of glasses elsewhere and was denied a refund because I was told the misunderstanding was somehow my fault. Losing a loyal customer over $190, after years of business and repeat purchases, is extremely disappointing. Good customer service is about communication, accountability, and valuing long-term customers -- and unfortunately, I did not experience that here.

Every time I have my annual visit I am given a sells pitch to purchase his up charged products (…read moretelling me that no other products are the same ) when I have found exact products or/and different brands with the exact ingredients thru AI that are substantially lower in cost. My last visit I was told how much eye therapy would help. The whooping cost....$1200.00. And yes, I did NOT need it and this "Therapy" would not even address the concerns I had regarding my vision related to drying eyes and aging. I purchased his lubricant eye drops for $39 to get home and find the EXACT brand on Amazon for $21. He says "use caution when purchasing from Amazon because there products sit in a warehouse.." You order from a distributor just like Amazon!!! Additionally, through my insurance I have a $10 co-pay, I am always charged $49 because his office have you sign this is a condition for service. This office performs a mandatory retinal screening (Texas law prohibits imposing certain additional fees as a condition for service, yet Viewpoint Vision in Carrollton does) And don't get me started on the frames and prescription cost. I purchased a pair for $657.00 . I kept looking through my lenses and then without. I couldn't see the difference. I went back and informed him....get ready....he stated..." the lenses were just to minimize possible strain on your eyes, not to adjust the vision that's 20/20!!! All sales are final. So why was this prescription so freakin high or even written? He will NEVER scam me again! I will never buy glasses or products from an optometrist office from now on. I get my exams, get the prescription, pick my own frames and get the prescription filled at Costco or somewhere else. I've have never paid over $150.00 by doing this. Healthcare is seemingly more of a racket than it is about patient care. Greed always steps in.

The Custer location not so much Felt worth leaving. review 2 years ago my husband had cataract surgery with IOL implant I took his glasses in to remove one lense to replace with no Rx clear lenses for protection the week before his second eye VERY easy and great service So much so, he brought in multiple RX glasses and RX sunglass to have those replaced with regular non RX sunglass lenses GREAT experience More than $200.00 to much better than buying new sunglasses as his frames were on trend and in good condition Now to me. I'm doing the same process and went on a month ago to arrange similar project for my surgery Greeting was meh The tech, not the greater began helping me He seemed to struggle with my request, so I decided to forget the process Now today My husband returned to bring in my PEARLE VISION frames for the same process, remove one lense and replace with clear non RX lense to help guard my surgical eye until the following week when 2nd eye would be done. i was going to replace my other RX both clear and sunglasses to non-RX sunglasses So staff was in an "I can't be bothered mood" and shut my husband down and dismissing, his request and saying I don't know if we can etc... blaming lab issues not letting get his questions answered etc So off he goes Happened to stop in Walmart where service could not have been easier! Knowledge, suggested things about sunglass replacement and my clear lense will be replaced BEFORE my surgery or sooner! The optician suggested so many options for replacing all my frames from RX sunglasses to sunglasses EVEN suggesting one pair to have blue light lenses for computer screen work! Thanks Walmart! In fact, there was a paper sign on the door saying they'd be closed Super Bowl Sunday. I think that's a smart move on their part! Huuuge selection of frames all arranged by frame shape/type and Men's or Women's and also price. The salesgirl was very friendly and knowledgeable. We narrowed it down to a couple of choices and finally down to the winner. She took measurements and we decided what kind of progressive lens - premium, premium digital, or workplace. She was able to apply some coupons to our order - the frames were originally $199.95 with a $79.98 discount came out to $119.97. The digital progressive polycarbonate polarized lenses were originally $525 but with a $210 discount came out to $315. Total cost with the 40% discount was $434.97. We ordered them on Saturday 2/10/24 and they were promised for 2/24. Imagine our delight when we received a text message on 2/19 that the sunglasses were ready for pick up! Hubby picked them up and he loves them! Just what he wanted! Excellent shopping experience.
