I've been going here for years. The staff is awesome- I'm always greeted as I walk in and the wait time is minimal. The techs have a great sense of humor! The doctors are very caring and thorough, and will explain the test results in terms that anyone could understand. Parking is limited onsite, but it's usually not a problem. The office is very clean- even the saltwater fish tank! They have an outstanding collection of frames, and will help to keep glasses selection within my budget. read more

My husband and I have been using these folks for about five years. A few weeks ago I came in, received an exam and purchased lenses and sunglass clip to fit my glasses. A year and a half ago I purchased two pairs of frames and lens and spent close to 800$ out of pocket. This year they received almost a thousand with the insurance included. I paid over half upon ordering my glasses and the rest due upon pick up. Since we have used them before, both my husband and I have always paid remaining due upon us picking up our glasses. This time when I left, a few hours later I was contacted by them stating they screwed up and didn't charge me the entire amount and that I still owed 87.00$. We had left on vacation but everyday when we were gone I was receiving calls about this 87$. My husband told me we would contact them upon our return to pay this. When my husband called to pay this morning he advised that he would pay this but this was their fault for not charging me the entire amount that day. Good customer service would be just to waive the 87 dollars because again, it was their error. He was told it was a privilege for us to only pay deposit and they made an exception for me. Really?! For the last five years we have been paying more than half without an issue nor have we ever asked to pay just the deposit. My husband informed them due to their mistake by not correctly charging the full amount owed this 87$ they would be receiving would cost them two patients and future business from us. They did not care and did not take responsibility in their mistake, and then had the audacity to try to turn it around by making us feel less than because of deposits we have paid in the past. Really?! I hope the 87 bucks was worth the future business and dollars we would have spent. By the way we have great vision insurance, which I'm sure many patients do not, so there's that. Just owe up to your mistakes and try not to blame a patient because of an employee's error. That is just a good business practice, but obviously not for Ogletree Eye Care. Oh, might want to pay attention to your reviews because your one time perfect five star rating has now gone to 4.7, just saying. I'm glad for your sake that my husband was the one who contacted you because if this was said to me...I would have told you all to pound sand and hung up. read more

I've been going to Ogletree for a few years and have had good experiences. But my last visit was so frustrating. I arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment but the doctor didn't come in until 55 minutes after my scheduled appointment. No explanations or apologies. She said she'd go over my optional $80 tests 'real quick.' While trying to select eyeglasses afterwards, they wanted me to sit at a table and point to glasses for the gal to go get and bring me to look at. It was ridiculous and a waste of time. I asked to walk up to them and she said no. The whole reason I need glasses is because I can't see that far. I told the gal at checkout (two hours later) that I'd just pay for the exam and purchase glasses somewhere else because I wasn't happy with my visit. She said okay and gave me a copy of my vision prescription. I'll be going to a different doctor this year. read more

Everyone there has been extremely helpful.. I'm 48 yrs old and I have terrible anxiety about any and all doctors visits.. and honestly, I've only been to an eye doc a handful of times, probably because it was such a terrible experience... this was different! Front of house staff was great! Helped me friend my perfect Tom Ford Cat eye glasses that match my personality perfectly.. and found out that the doc I saw , and I .. are pretty much from the same town back in Lil Ole South Mississippi! I went to Ogletree for help when my dad was in the hospital. The staff at the hospital broke his glasses... like mangled them. I brought them to Ogletree and they said to bring him in for a fitting. Obviously, I couldn't as he was in long term. When I explained the situation, Ogletree was super kind. His vision was very important as he was deaf. Without his glasses, he was blind, too. He was lost without them. They took his glasses, put new frames on them and tried their best to fit them as they were before. I was told if they didn't fit then bring them back and they would try again. They were ready in a few days and looked better than before and they fit him first try. I appreciate their help. There was a lot of difficulties with my dad's situation and they made it one less problem and one less stressful situation. This place is great and very understanding. Thank you. read more

Best eye doctor I have been to ever. I have been wearing glasses for 25 years so I have a little experience in the area. The staff is so nice and friendly. Always remember me and treat like a close friend. They also use a different method during exam where they don't have to diolate your eyes. Go here for all your eye care needs. Quick and courteous. Staff is... Fun? They really seem to enjoy working together and their approach to their work is very customer-friendly. Appointments started on time, facility is clean and in great condition, convenient and uncrowded. Good bedside manner with kids and adults. They give very thorough explanations of the examination and answer questions readily. Eyeware is not cheap, but they stock a reasonable range of frames and styles to fit most budgets. Dr. Ogletree is the best! She is extremely thorough, detailed, friendly and does a great job of explaining her process and results. I had what was the beginning of a detached retina, but Dr. Ogletree detected it early and referred me to a specialist before it became a bigger problem. Really is as good as it gets. I got my RX somewhere else, but they did not have the selection of frames or service that Ogletree has. I need 57 mm and up frames, and they had plenty to look at and show me. Very patient and helpful, especially to me as I am new to the world of glasses.
