The doctor told me I had dry eyes and the beginning of cataracts. My previous eye doctor had never mentioned this to me. He prescribed Meiobe which can have a ton of side effects. I only took it a couple of times & it made my eyes blurry. He also told me I had an ingrown eyelash, which I couldn't see or feel. He said even though it didn't bother me it bothered him so he supposedly removed it & he charged it to insurance. He wrote a new prescription for eye classes. I picked out of frames. I was told they were on backorder. I called several times & they weren't available. After a couple of months, I picked out some frames at another place and had my prescription filled. The prescription was way off. I went back to the Rosemore eye care and was told that I would have to get a new eye exam and pay for it because I got the glasses somewhere else. They actually told me that the other place might've put the lens in backwards I went to Plano eye associates in Plano and got a new exam. I do not have dry eyes or cataracts. The rosemore eye prescription had gone from a two to a three for my prescription and the new exam showed I needed a 2.5. I got the new prescription put in my new frames and they are wonderful. Rosemore only cares about money. They don't care about you.

Dr Minh Nguyen was the absolute BEST eye doctor I dealt with…read more In 12 months, I dealt with 2 optometrist and 3 ophthalmologist to try to see clearly. I went to 5 in ONE YEAR !!! Dr Nguyen was SO MUCH BETTER than anyone I got to see who actually tried to fix my blurriness with glasses..... AND succeeded!!! I can truthfully say Dr Nguyen was actually more perfect for my eyesight than all the others in 2025.

Dr. Bui is an excellent optometrist - he offers services and equipment that most ophthalmologists…read moreuse. I have multiple complex eye issues going on at the same time and he is very accommodating and understanding - which is great for someone like me who is terrified of having people and objects go near her eyeballs (think Kubrick's "A Clockwork Orange"). I never feel pressured to spend money I don't have, and though it can be complicated every year billing and I work together to parse through my primary and secondary medical insurances as well as my vision insurance to get everything covered as much as possible. I never have a problem getting squeezed in when I scratch my cornea either - though that happens far less frequently now than it used to as we have figured out why it kept happening and how to better prevent it. He has no ego like so many other doctors and sent me to a retina specialist and now they work together, and we coordinate with my migraine management schedule to try and take tests at the right time. If anything doesn't work for me I typically have what I would consider a long window of time to test and return for either a refund or replacement - imagine if other doctors did that for medications or treatments! Huge shout-out to Jen/Jenn/Jenny (please forgive me - I am terrible with names) is AH-MAZE-ING when it comes to frame adjustments so she has been able fit all my frame choices to not only crooked features but also to adjust the nose bridge flare and and other angles for the more "Alternative Fit" I need - which is harder to do when you only wear acetate frames. She's a magician, I swear it, and if you ever find that your frames never seem to look right or fit right, or after a while they need re-adjusting, call and ask when she'll be in to ask for her help. I have even learned the hard way that sometimes my Rx is right but after adjustments (and sometimes due to the shape/curvature of the frames initially) need to be tweaked with added measurements.

My whole house got sick, we all started feeling it Sunday (New Years) morning and it progressively got worst. In fact I lost my voice, it hurt to much to swallow and even lift my head. Sure enough the house got COVID. I had an appointment on Tuesday and Monday (the day before) they were closed. I called in Monday not knowing they were closed and didn't leave a message because frankly I was so sick, I was just trying to be courteous hoping to get a live person, when I heard the answering machine I just hung up. Tuesday comes around and I got up to make sure I call right at 9:01am and tell them how sick we were and we'd like to reschedule our 2PM appointment. It was very clear I was sick bc I don't have my voice. The lady said she would ask how to handle that and when she got back on the phone said, sorry the policy is that you have to show up or we will charge you a late cancellation fee. I then said, so you guys want us to come and both my son and I both have COVID? She said "well you can bring a doctor's note"... huh? I barely have energy to leave the house for 1 appointment you're asking me to go to the doctors now? Lol comedy. Nope, we'll be there at 2PM. I find it absolutely unsympathetic and ridiculous that in a scenario such as this there is no empathy or consideration. I've been going here for the past 4yrs or so and have had NO track record of cancellations, but they treat me as if I am a frequent cancellation customer... in fact we moved to Carrollton which isn't close and we decided to still keep our business here. To top it off, we get here at 1:49 our appointment is at 2:00 and they didn't see us until 2:30 . What exactly is the point of an appointment when you can't follow it? This will be our last visit.

They also have trendy sunglasses as well. The optician was very sweet and patient as I took my time to pick out the perfect frames. I went in on a Saturday and the glasses was scheduled to be ready for pick up by Monday! As a person with a very high prescription I have some restrictions on frames but the optician was very sweet and explained to me which frames would be best. He was not following me everywhere and didn't push me with his recommendations (I've been to many opticals and they just want to make a sale rather than help and genuinely care for the customer). Great customer service! The space is very clean and neat. They have gloves and hand sanitizers for you to have and masks are required!
