Everything!!!! I was needing to get new glasses, and I was on a deadline, and while other stores were telling me 7-10, even 14, days I was going out of town in 2 weeks and needed them before that. I went in Monday, have them my Rx, they created the work order, I picked out my frames, and they said they'd be ready the next day, or maybe the day after. I went home, and an hour or so later, I get a text message saying my glasses were ready - same day - I called, told them it's be there to get them the next day, and I was just thrilled at the turnaround. Very poor customer service. they do not stand behind what they sell. I know the "designer" glasses are all mass produced and not worth what you pay for them but apparently they have a protection plan that's an additional cost. I wasnt offered this plan and if I had been I wouldn't have purchased glasses there. I needed glasses quickly and am new to the area. I peviously had an eye doctor where if your glasses broke they fixed them at no charge especially after four months like these. That is what I expected at LensCrafters but did not happen. I was told since I didn't buy the protection there was nothing they could do. The store team was unhelpful and I have not received a response from LensCrafters corporate or the management team. I've had exceptional service from both Laurence and Rony at LensCrafters Stonebriar! Both associates were patient, professional, and honest and did not rush the process as I had trouble choosing frames. I had an issue with my sunglasses from the LensCrafters at Willowbend and Rony resolved the problem almost immediately! I wound up ordering totally different frames that I think will fit my face much better! "Optical Honesty" is what both of these associates provided which is what was needed! My wife and I went to this location around 3:00pm Sunday February 20 where we were promptly greeted by a gentleman who introduced himself and explained where everything was located. I wish I could remember his name as he was great. I do believe he stated he was new and still in training. We had our prescriptions in hand for a total of 4 sets of glasses. Including a mix of transition lenses, readers and progressive lenses. We were prepared to spend quite a lot. The selection is very limited and primarily consists of higher end name brand designer frames. After some browsing, we found some frames we liked and sat down with our associate to start the order. I was told I could drag a nearby chair over next to my wife so we could both be served at the same time. That's when the wheels came off. A few moments later, I believe his name is Michael, walked up behind me and not so politely said he needed my chair. As I stood up, Michael doubled down with rudeness by saying "Sir, we have customers who are buying!" As if to say I was some kind of second class customer because he assumed I wasn't buying. When I informed him I was also buying, he stuttered for a few seconds, obviously unsure how to respond but still took the chair leaving me, a paying customer to stand there. I immediately informed our associate he needed to return our prescriptions and insurance information as we weren't about to spend nearly $2000 on 4 pair of glasses after being spoken to in such a way. I feel bad for our salesperson. I suspect they are commission and he lost out due to the boorish behavior of a coworker. I hope management finds this review and realizes they have a complete tool working there with no business in customer service. Especially a healthcare type position. That guy would be better suited cleaning bedpans at the hospital. read more

The service was alright when I came around 11am to noon on a Saturday. I saw possibly two customers prior to me that were already being assisted. The associate free to help me was Mark, store market manager. He asked me professionally how can I be helped today. I told him I have a prescription and are looking for some glasses with my insurance. He asked about my insurance and it turns out VSP is out of network. He told me that even with out of network, I will have a $70 allowance towards frame. He handed me a tray and told me to go ahead pick some glasses to try out. He directed me to where the female glasses were. I circled around and truly only picked a few I like on the Ray Ban section. There was many brands ranging from Michael Kors, Coach, Vogue, Tiffany & Co, Bvlgari, Gucci, Tory Burch etc. The location was honestly made for someone in market for high end luxury eyewear. Ray bans were the only ones I felt not too crazy in the hundreds in pricing. The price tag of some of these glasses can be upwards to $500 for frame. I had a hard time finding a pair of frames I liked and honestly I only got help when I asked for it. I circled back to Mark a few times asking for specific types of glasses like metal, squared/round, flexible and must have nose piece. He told me there wasn't much options that check those boxes and said I can check in the mens eyewear for more of what I might want. Finally when we found a pair of glasses and I wanted to start paperwork, there was a rush of customers. I had to wait about 15 minutes or so to get assisted again. We got through paperwork and I paid. I thought it was strange that Ray Bans lens were cheaper than LensCrafters and they were better in quality. Only difference was having to wait for order to arrive to store for pick up versus LensCrafters lens make it same day pick up possible. I didn't realize until looking at itemized receipt that I was paying for warranty on each pair of glasses I got. I also was sold by Mark that if I get a second pair of glasses it's 50% off but honestly it doesn't feel like a deal when your other pair frames are so costly. After a day or two of research, we found a better location that took our insurance and saved us $$$. We called (on following Monday) in to return LensCrafters purchase. Luckily enough, since no business days have pass, we were able to refund purchase without waiting for arrival of purchases. For two pair of glasses, the receipt was almost $800 at LensCrafters. We decided to check out Visionworks, benefits there went further and the price tags weren't extreme. We were told about warranty and not surprised by additional fees. We got two pairs of Ray Bans for $300-$400 at Visionworks to give a price comparison. read more

I have been receiving help from Tricia for the last few years and believe me when I tell you that the management is going to miss her when/if she ever leaves!! My readers keep fogging up, it's clearly a faulty by the manufacturer but the store wont do anything about it since its past 30 days. I got these in Jan, didnt get to use them regularly (they are readers ), got them out in February, called the store but due to covid lockdown i emailed them since stores were closed. I went last month after i called and the manager said he ll take care of it when i come in thr store! Gave me a new box which i thought maybe causing the issue. A couple weeks later same problem. Now that i work virtually im in front of the computer and this has become bothersome. I called the store again and there is NOTHING they can do about it. My wife and I have been purchasing our glasses here since we moved to the area about five years ago. They're located in the Stonebriar Mall so you can window shop while you wait. There are lots of business around the mall also. Sometimes the mall can be busy. Parking (5/5): There's plenty of parking at the mall. However, depending on the day or season it can be busy. Park near Dick's Sporting Good and LensCrafters is right across from them. Service (5/5): The people are very friendly. We've never had a bad experience with them or the Optometrist next door. On several occasions, we've even popped in to have glasses adjusted or repaired that we didn't purchases through them. They've never charged us. The optometrist next door takes appointments so if you want to use them for an exam you won't have to wait in line. We always make an appointment and we've never had to wait. Selection (5/5): They have a large selection of glasses for both men and women, including kids. They have several high end brands like Ray-Ban etc. Price (3/5): They're a mainstream retailer so their prices are comparable to what you would expect. They're not a bargain retailer but they almost always have some kind of special. For two pairs of Oakley it was $1000 after discounts no insurance. The normal price was over $2000, so ask them about discounts. read more

I am reviewing this place for customer service. I am super indecisive when it comes to picking out frames but my salesperson was super helpful and patient. As she helped me, an extremely rude man walked in, demanded help, said that he bought his frames from there almost a decade ago and wanted to re-buy the exact same pair. They told them they didn't have the exact same pair but could find something similar. Although he was a complete ass about everything, they were super nice and helpful to him. I might have punched him in his old glasses! Anyway, they helped me find super cute glasses and explained the insurance benefits very clearly. I would highly recommend this location. read more

Ordered prescription sunglasses 2nd week of December. They said it would take about 10 days. No news after 2 weeks so went into the store to check what happened. They said we are so sorry we should have called you and said the model was out , so we couldn't complete your order. Are you okay with another color of the same frame , I said I am okay with that. They promised they would expedite the order and would get it back soon. Another 10 days go by and again no news. So call back again and ask what happened , still searching for the order. They said it will be there by the end of the week. So call them again after a week, they have no clue what is going on. 5 weeks after my initial order I go in and ask what's the status, they are scrambling and found the lens lying around, they took the frame from the showroom and fixed and gave it to me and then finally sent an email that my order is rready for pickup. Very irritated!! Poor customer service and no accountability. read more

So disappointed. I scheduled an appointment online. I thought it was for 1pm. I work, have a crazy schedule and thought I was showing up 10 mins early. Arrived at 12:51pm. Apparently my appointment was for 12:40 & they only have a 10 min leeway which I missed based on that by ONE MINUTE. The person at the front was of no help nor kind or caring & allowed me to leave disgruntled. No wonder they are so cheap. That don't care at all not do they have to apparently. Taking consideration before coming to this place. After they charge you, it is over. They don't care if you have problem with your glasses or not. I was traveling for work and when I was back to TX to get my glasses done with them. I wore it for the first week, it was ok. However, the second week, my lenses was blurred. I had no time to come back to TX to get it fix. When I was back to TX, they said" they can not fix it because I got it done in November and now April" It does not matter what i explained for them that I did not know if the prescription or their lenses and I asked them please take a look. They still said "no". I paid the most expensive lenses I have ever been paid for. I don't actually want to get it done with them anymore. I only need them to take a look if their lenses or the doctor prescription so that I can get another glasses somewhere else. I don't understand how can Lenscrafters can hire the gentleman is so rude to communicate with female client in the their business. read more

If you like higher priced frames, they have a good selection but difficult to get someone to wait on you. About 20% higher in price than similar stores and 33%+ higher than one line sites. Selection of frames was pitiful and overpriced and my prescription was basically unusable to me when my glasses came in. I returned to have the glasses corrected and complained that the transition lenses were not good, they told me that "yeah, they don't work in the car". I told them that is exactly why I wanted them to start with and they just let me waste $80+ on it anyway. Upon changing the prescription for my lenses they refund me $40 for the bifocal that was to be removed. When I received my replacement glasses that were corrected so I could use them to drive, the transition lenses were not included. So of course I call to get my money back and am told that I am not getting anymore money back, they apparently gave me more expensive lenses that I did not ask for. How is it that having one lens is more expensive than one that has a lineless bifocal?? ME THINKS NOT. On a side note, the doctor was creepy.. I went because Dr. Williams had great reviews, I unfortunately did not get to see that man.. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!! read more

So I moved here last June from New York . Usually I use a optometrist for all my eye care but I was new here and needed new glasses . I went here and talked to a guy who sold me on frameless glasses . Saying that they are more sturdy and don't break or scratch as easily . 600.00 later I purchased these glasses. About 3 weeks into have by them they began to fall apart and I brought them back into the store . They took them in the back and said they were tightening the screws . About 3 weeks after that the same thing again . So I bring them back and they ask if I bought the protection plan . I didn't cause I assume like many others their must be a manufacturers warranty of some sort on faulty stuff. But apparently their isn't . So now here I am sitting on a 600.00 pile of junk. Never again will I use a LensCrafters . I am extremely disappointed in the quality and service here. But they did end up fixing the problem so I will make this a 5 Star . read more
