When I first went in, I brought my old glasses and said I want exactly what my old glasses have. I had my old glasses with me. Apparently they didn't come from Target, however, that was not a problem when I brought them in for this visit today to let them know I think anti glare was missing because I was having an issue. The lady looked at both pairs and knew exactly what my old glasses had and my new ones didn't... I ended up being charged for $103 to add anti -glare to my new glasses which is what I asked for when I came in the first time. Then after I pay, the lady informs me that adding that anti glare, cancels out another feature I had paid for before that helps with blue light when working on a computer. As I stated the first time and this time, I'm not a glasses person. This is my second time looking for glasses at all, this was an annual follow up with a tweek to an optional prescription to use ONLY when using a computer. And she told me I removed the feature that helps with that when I added anti glare. She says people have said that anti glare has helped people when on the computer and seeing at night. I didn't get them for seeing at night. I never wore glasses for driving at night. I was told by my doctor if I wanted to try them at night, I could, but I hadn't. There was too much glare on using with the PC. I am beyond upset because all of my needs were communicated the first time. I either shouldn't pay for the $103 because I asked for it the first time when it was sent to my insurance... Or I need the original charge for the blue whatever that was paid for but removed when I added the anti glare that cancelled out when I added anti glare. This whole experience made zero sense. I will not go in the future. And I won't tell anyone I know that wears glasses regularly to go either. read more

I've been getting my glasses here for years and no one has been able to beat the price, service or quality. I don't get my exam done here, I just bring my prescription and choose my frames, lenses and contacts. It's a breezy experience each time and the staff is amazing!! There's a fair amount of idle time on various junctures that would spent more wisely if I was back home. One thing I sometimes do is explore by driving around, occasionally stopping, and then wandering around varies stores like Target. Everything's big in Texas and this Super Target is no exception. Yet, in terms of selection and choice, it's almost too much. When I go to stores like this, I pretty much know what I want, and the rest is either eye candy or clutter. I love this SuperTarget. It's in the perfect location close to the Tollway. The store is always clean and well organized. The employees are helpful and knowledgeable in their area or specialty and I appreciate that. I also love that there is a Starbucks in here. They provide fast service and I wouldn't mind stopping in here just for a java fix. I have price compared Target vs Walmart on various items I purchase regularly and Target was cheaper so it gives me even more of a reason to shop here. This is a great Target store. It is not a Super Target, but still has lots of things you could get at the bigger Targets. It is usually pretty clean and the layout is similar to,most Targets. My only complaint is when I need assistance finding oddball items it takes time to find a sales person. The checkout clerks have always been very friendly, even make sure you are getting the best deals based on their weekly sales and promotions. Also, the produce I've gotten here hasn't been too bad either. read more

The service here is phenomenal. I'm so mad at myself for not getting the names of the doctor, but it's two African American women here (the doctor and her assistant). After having a terrible experience with the rude people at Pearle Vision across the street, I decided to give this place a try. They were so attentive and helpful and from the time I was serviced until the moment I received my glasses, there was constant and clear communication. I recommend highly. I live all the way in Austin Texas and was just here to visit my parents but I will make this the place I go to for all of my optical needs. read more

For a lot of those who know me, I am not a usual fan of Target, mainly because of the crowds and no checkers. I am so glad to see that this location is reminiscent of the Kemah location with plenty of checkers ready and eager to get you checked out. This location is big, bright, spacious and well organized. This has to be my fave Target yet, and I am thoroughly enjoying visiting this location more frequently. Everyone I have run into is super friendly and always have a smile on their face. The bathrooms, I am pleased to report, are clean and stocked. Everything is marked clearly on the shelves so it's easy to figure out if the price is correct on what you're picking out. The scanners are easy to find and clearly marked. The fruits and veggies are very vibrant and fresh; the meats all look so fresh. Also, I am very glad to see this location is not trashed like other locations I have seen; it is very neat and not cluttered. There always seems to be plenty of shopping cards INSIDE, and not scattered about all over the parking lot either. read more

The last 2 times I came here I was being absent minded and forgot a bag of groceries or 2 when I walked out the store. I was half way to my car when I an employee stopped me and said I forgot a bag inside. They were nice enough to bring it out for me too. Now that's what I call customer service. read more

So BIG literally HUGE!! Been such a long time I seen a super target... Quite impressed... Staff are friendly and attentive. I guess that's apart of the southern hospitality... Walked around the store and it was super super clean everything was organized. Wished there was a super target near home I would be here everyday... Walked to the food section was so amazed. Their bakery was full of goodies. I picked up a blueberry muffin and it looked good but it tasted Humm a OK! ST has a Starbucks inside too like most other one... Starbucks is the same everywhere! Man. I love Target. The prices may be a bit higher compared to Wal Mart (which I never, ever go to...blech!) or other stores, but I don't mind because I will pay a bit more just so I can have a semi-clean place to shop. This Target has an ample selection of clothing, makeup (it's actually pretty huge - there are testers, too...yay!), household items, pet food, and toothpaste, but I'd say their produce side isn't so super. The vegetables and fruit look a bit sad and sheepish. For my grocery needs, I hit up the HEB on Kirkwood or Whole Foods in Sugarland. Other than that, this Target is my "go-to" place. They're also developing the shopping area around it, so it's a nice, new area. Customer service is just like any other Target; sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not. The only thing I wish this particular Super Target had was my optometrist. They're located at the other Super Target in Sugarland (59 and Highway 6). Oh, and quick safety tip...drive slowly in this parking lot (actually, any Target lot). Everything is red (d'oh!) and I totally missed all the stop signs. Oops. read more

This is a review for Target Optical because you know...there is an actual listing for this store under Super Target for the main store, but not everyone is very bright. But I digress... My experience here with getting new glasses was FANTASTIC. I made an appointment here the day before with the eye doctor, Dr. Ly, and had my exam for eyeglasses, which was much overdue. Her office is VERY SMALL so I hope you don't have claustrophobia because it will be difficult to wait in the sardine can size space allotted for patients. This review however is not for Dr. Ly, but for my experience with the Target Optical staff, so once I finished up with the doctor, I moved over to the Target Optical side. I had looked at some eyeglass options online, but of course needed to try some on before being able to make a decision. I'm also extremely indecisive when presented with a multitude of options, so boy am I happy Lillie was there to help guide me in making a selection. Lillie was knowledgeable, considerate, and gave some of the best customer service I have ever received anywhere. If you are unsure of what optical options may be available or have questions, or just want to try something different from your usual choice, please pay Lillie a visit at Target Optical on Eldridge. I am actually not writing this review on Target but on the TV Delivery & Installation company they use, zip Powered by ASSURANT Solutions. I HIGHLY suggest that you stay as far away from this installation company as possible! They are terrible! I called to schedule an appointment, which the fee was $250.00. I was on the phone with them for over an hour to schedule, then on the day of the delivery...no show. I called to find out what happened (yes, I stayed home from work for this due to the four hour window they give). I was informed that they had all of my information however did not have the appointment in the log. What?!? Best Buy had the same TV, and through experience, I know that I would be sitting in front of the TV watching it if I had gone to them to purchase and schedule the delivery. read more

Bullied me told me to go to Walmart if you want customer service. She told me today, take my cracker ass some other store if I didn't like it their. I work about 1 mile from this Target location. I have to say that this store is awesome. First of all, the store is not that old. I think that they opened about a year ago. The store is clean almost to a fault. It is hardly ever crowded and most important of all, is the great customer service they provide. Not sure why is under Optical, this is an actual store. I have been in this location two times (Oct 10 & Oct 23) and always had the same issue, lack of open registers. They are over 20 registers and found they are only 2 or 3 open. In my recent visit on 10.23.15 (Friday @ 4:49pm) I had to stop to buy only 2 items really needed; there were only 3 registers open one without the light on. No express line open and only one person working in guest services with 4 customers. I had to wait forever only to pay 2 items. Its not the first time, same thing happened on To make it worst. I stop at Starbucks and wait and wait (already 4 customers behind me) since they were only one female working on a Friday PM and fixing some type of meal to go. After she finished I placed my order (White Chocolate Mocha) and she said "sorry, the expresso machine is not working".... Really? after all I waited. Why she did not mentioned anything while she was taking her sweet time with the other order? At least "I will be right with you but FYI the espresso machine is not working" or a sign. They also had a strike out line in part of the menu. On 10.17.15 I went for coffee and they had a long white tape diagonally across to more than half of the menu that said "we are out". They need a good person to work on inventory,rush . Its been already two weeks with that game. read more

Hello, This is my first yelp review. I just want to say thank you to the staff here for helping me choose the right kind of glasses for my face and prescription. Ms. Lilie was helpful overall; there is a reason why she is the lead optician. However, I want to call out Ms. Darlene for her WONDERFUL, PATIENT and AMAZING assistance. When I received my glasses, it was obvious (to me) that one side of my glasses was tilted due to the shape of my nose bridge. While all other just flat out told me that I looked fine and there was no tilting, there was ONE person sitting with me through a whole half an hour trying to modify so that my glasses would no longer tilt because of my nose bridge. She tried and tried and tried again (while others just want me to ... sign and leave). In the end, she was able to fit the eyeglasses to my face FLAWLESSLY. This is very heartfelt to me. It left a strong impression that even AFTER I PAID, I'm still a valuable customer and still receiving the much need assistance from a knowledgeable optician. If you go here, LOOK FOR MS. DARLENE!!! PERIOD! If you don't see her then GO find another way. Then you will love coming back to Target Optical to buy new eyeglasses. I was ok with my experience at first but now I'm like... Woohoo! The first thing that will jump out at you is that this location is clean and modern. No crappy carts, no chipped and stained floor tiles, and no buzzing fluorescent lighting. This store is huge, but things are easy to find. Prices are decent. I've always enjoyed their selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. My only gripe with this location is that checkout lines are almost always a long wait, made worse by the number of staff you see wandering around oblivious to it. read more

I am a Super Target glutton! I live at Target, it is my second home, I go at least once a week. I sometimes go 2-3 times a week but I don't check in because people make fun of my Target addiction. I am here almost everyday. The place is always well stocked and clean. The staff always friendly and happy to help out. When I look lost, they don't hesitate to check on me. The pharmacy staff are impeccable. Even when they're crazy busy, they take the time to answer my questions either by phone or in person. I am moving soon and will miss them all. I tried to ask someone to help me get something off the shelf (because I'm short) and one of the guy was being rude, and I tried to get another person but that person ran off and avoided me. I love this Super Target it is big, it is in a great location, and it always has everything I need. You can find anything there that you may need, it really is amazing. At the entrance the employees always greet you, and ask how you are doing. There is always an employee cleaning or organizing wow. It is the cleanest and the most organized Target I have been to. I would go to this one all the time, but I live in the Northwest area, but it for sure beats the Target I have near my house hands down. read more

This is the worst target I have ever been to. The customer service is horrible each and every time I go. All the staff has a chip on their shoulder towards customers, at least that's what it seems like. No smiles, no greetings, no one wants to help, and everyone has an attitude. I had to call corporate on them when I was still in the store because the customer service was that bad. The manager ended up lying to corporate about the situation and I filed a complaint. It was such a waste of my time but after 10 horrible experiences I had to do something. I only stopped by this location when I'm in the area but I'll never go to it again. read more

I'm always at this target because it's the closest one to where I stay. This is one of the newer targets and it's not as organized as I would like to it to be. Everything else is fine except for that one employee at the dressing room who saw me waiting completely ignored me untill i said something to her..
