My wife and I have been coming to this place for several years, without incident. I think they changed the optometrist, because all of a sudden I was able to book an appointment for the next day. I was never able to do that it's always been at least the three or four day wait. So I scheduled an appointment for today May 31st at 11 a.m. . I arrive at 10:45 a.m., fill out the forms and wait. 11 nothing. 11:15 and I asked the clerk what's going on. I was advised that the doctor was not there yet. So I wait until 11:25, and ask again. Then I am told the doctor is stuck in traffic somewhere in the Land of Oz or some other place. So I ask how long is it going to be. I am then advice that the doctor said another 15 minutes. Considering we were at our second 15 minutes at that point I decided to call it a day. Maybe I am picky, I understand traffic, I understand people get booked, but it was 45 minutes past my appointment, and if I had not asked I would have been sitting there like a schmuck waiting for the doctor to grace me with his or her presence. By the time the doctor got there and settled in, it would have easily been 12:15, which is 75 minutes after my appointment. Remember we are talking about an optometrist at the Target, not the top oncologist in New York City. Some things are not worth waiting for, and this place is one of them. I am an attorney, and I would never ever leave a client sitting for more than a few minutes without an explanation and an apology. Maybe I'm silly but I expect the same irrespective of what the person does. read more

I just went for an appt and there was a new young Dr and she was wonderful. Great patient interaction and really answered all my questions plus she's more than happy to give me samples based on what I want not just what brand their pushing. I was able to try out a bunch of contacts before I ordered. I really didn't have to deal with the people at the counters and they were upfront about everything. It is the patients job to make sure they take your insurance this is the case with every doc. I just found it so convenient to get some errands done and get a eye dr visit in. There are no opticians at this location she is an Optometrist so you are only going to deal with a real Dr. read more

I just went to pick up my new glasses when I tried them on I found I could see better without them. I told the man behind the counter and he just acted like I was an idiot and didn't know what I was talking about . His only reply was "well that's what the prescription says" I left without the glasses; I wish I had seen reviews first read more

I've been coming here for my eye care needs for about two years and am more than satisfied. The doctors and their staff are very personable and friendly. I came in for my annual last night and it was super quick and easy. The doctor provided me with a generous sample of contact lens solution to take home and they even had my contact lens order in stock so I was able to make my purchase and bring my contacts home last night. I would definitely recommend this office and I will return again next year :) read more

It has been more than 2 weeks and they still haven't called me to collect my prescription glasses. This is my first pair I cannot see properly. Never again will I use this place. I have called numerous times for my glasses. Most incompetent staff. Too much attitude problem with one of the staff who thinks she talks to people or says hi only when she feels like. This Company is HORRIBLE!!!!! When it comes to optical. STAY AWAY!!!!!!. I ordered glasses almost 16 days ago to today and still haven't received my glasses and they still haven't shipped them as of today. I drive for a living and my glasses are scratched so bad that I can't drive at night because of the glare they leave. I understand the Pandemic but this is not the worse of the situation. You pay up front every dime and then this. They actually broke my glasses at the warehouse before shipping. Then had to wait literally another week for them to refill the prescription. Then they gave me three different shipping dates. I asked because of there mistake and the situation that I desperately needed my glasses. There response was sorry for the inconvenience here is 10% off and we can't expedite your shipping status once you make your order. Such bull ****!!!! Multi million dollar company cant make changes. I am not only giving this horrible review i am also reporting them to the BBB asap. No one should be treated this way Pandemic or not. read more

I went to this place out of convenience....bad idea. Worst customer service. They didn't take my insurance, and they never went over the costs until I had to pay. They made me wait 4 wks until I could get my prescription. When I got upset, they just blew me off. What a waste of time. Next time Ill remember that retail stores and optricians don't mix. Made an appointment with target for my annual eye exam and to purchase glasses and contacts. Received a phone call same day as the appointment to tell me that they were unable to find my insurance, I was told to call the insurance and call back again. When returning the call they refused to listen to me, refused to check again and I was just told that they were very busy and rudely asked if I was coming in or not. When I told them that I verified with my insurance and was told that they are in network and covered, he said "we cant find it so I'm just going to say you are not covered". The new lady Doctor was very nice and patient..The guys that work there are helpful. The only thing that bothered me is they grab your Rx's and didn't release them to me so I would have to use them for glasses/contacts. Their disposable contacts aren't competitive price wise in the least bit! I wasn't thinking at the time I got out of her office, in a rush, should've just asked for it. Now every time I try to order from this online contacts company, they have to call to confirm with them each time, which is a major pain because they get back to them whenever. If I had the Rx I could've just faxed to them on file ONE TIME. read more

I didn't have my eyes examined here but ordered my glasses and had them, perfectly done, in 2 days. Both Shawn and Angelique were very friendly and helpful. They offered me a discount of 30% off retail and worked with me on my insurance and FSA to make the cost very reasonable. Overall a very positive experience. read more

Purchased a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses with NO prescriptions, paid in full and I was told to pick it up in 5 days but it ended up two and a half weeks to arrived. When it came, there were no lens cloth. glasses was in the case with filthy finger prints on it. read more

Where was my "Happy New Year?" and why did it take 2 people to do everything for one customer (huh?) So beyond that, everything was going fairly well up until the final step; payment. As I was off to the side waiting and observing all the "Happy New Year" and eye contacts the lady at the desk was giving out, it took 2 people again to complete my transaction, I was shoved off to the side to wait so people BEHIND me can be helped (what the??) So as the lady at the desk was chit chatting with the person behind me, now in front of me, she hands me the receipt without a single word. Expecting equal customer treatment, I paused to review my receipt because one, at this stage, my confidence is waning, and 2, I was sort of waiting for a kind word. Me, as an excellent customer service team member at target: I look up at the customer, smile, and apologize for the long wait and or thank them for waiting patiently. I went to target for new prescription glasses. I picked out frames along with antiglare and all the bells and whistles. Was happy with glasses till about a month ago when I started to notice antiglare was coming off and I could hardly see through the glasses. Very upset and went back with my receipt and the glasses and was told had no guarantee & they would order me new lenses for about $525 and had to use the old frames. When I bought the glasses they were originally $457 I'm very upset and can't believe nothing can be done. Antiglare shouldn't come off like that. My glasses were purchased September 2013 but I still think that the coating should not come off the lenses. Should last longer than 2 1/2 years I thought. And to replace lenses over $500 are they kidding? Not happy. read more
