I came by to browse their eyeglasses selection. The store was located in a residential building so I almost missed it. I called ahead of time and they said I could just walk in. They had a nice selection of brands, including designer brands. They only had one sales associate ag the time I went and the doctor was attending to a client. Something that bothered me was that the doctor had a really rough manner with the client. He was talking to her in a very harsh tone and it almost caused me to leave. She was a senior woman's J like their glasses but not how they treat their clients. The other employees I interacted with were friendly but it still left a bad impression. read more

Dr. Harrison Rosenberg is a kind, caring, patient and very professional optician. He has provided my teenage son and me with really good and quick service in testing our eyes, getting new eyeglasses and referring me to a retina specialist to ensure that diabetes wasn't adversely affecting the health of my eyes and especially helping my son when he had eye infections. Overall team is 4/5 stars, but Dr. Rosenberg is a 5/5 star doctor. Very kind, funny and patient. Thorough in his exams and never feels rushed. He will also answer questions that might be meant more for the front staff...I would deduct 1 star because there can be a long wait in the front display room sometimes. For example, I had a simple question about whether I need certain lens coating when driving at night. I went in and was told to wait. I probably waited about 5 minutes while staff was working on their own things, not really paying attention to me. I wasn't sure who I was waiting for and why they couldn't provide the answer. Luckily, Dr Rosenberg came out of the exam room with a patient and saw me waiting and asked and answered my question in a heartbeat. read more

I don't leave reviews often, but I need to let the Internet know that Dr. Rosenberg and the staff at Bridge Opticians are INCREDIBLE. My entire experience from booking an appointment through my actual visit was second to none. When I called, they were extremely kind and accommodating with my schedule. I immediately received a text message confirmation for my appointment following the initial call. When I arrived for my first appointment, I was given a warm welcome even though they were helping another patient at the time, and was ready to be seen quickly after. I also loved the displays and product selection to peruse around the office. Dr. Rosenberg is well trained and has the best rapport with his patients. I observed his banter with the patients before me and could tell that he can make even more reserved pediatric patients feel comfortable there. He was so generous with his time and performed the most thorough eye exam that I've ever had (and I've been getting eye exams for a long time). He asked about my family and well-being throughout the visit and you could tell he truly cared. I also went during the pandemic and the entire staff was so thoughtful about precautions. Everyone was wearing a mask. Dr. Rosenberg wore gloves and changed them many times throughout the exam. Equipment was sanitized between patients. You could tell there is a lot of attention to detail at this practice. To be honest, I thought that I was saving money before by going to optometrists at large brand-name retail stores and avoiding smaller practices. Oh my gosh, what a mistake. I am so glad that I moved to the area and that those big retailers are not conducting eye exams during this time, because I will never go anywhere else. I would drive hours to come back here. It also did not end up being more expensive, at all. No need to keep searching, you've come to the right place. The office building also has an attached parking lot with plenty of spaces. I have never had glasses or a full scale eye exam before in my life. I'm glad I came to Bridge Opticians. Dr. Harrison Rosenberg is great! He was very professional, thorough and answered all of my questions during the exam. (I'm pretty inquisitive and tend to ask a lot of questions so I appreciated his patience). I used my vision insurance plan so pricing was more than reasonable. Bridge Opticians has a pretty nice variety of frames and David, the optician, helped me pick out the perfect pair. When I picked up my reading glasses, Dr. Rosenberg made sure that they fit perfectly. In addition, he fixed some Chanel sunglasses that I haven't been able to wear for years because I never knew where to take them to be repaired. PLEASE do not go to Dr. Rosenberg. He will completely waste your time. He treats his patients like they are stupid. The most disappointing doctor's appointment I have ever experienced in my life. I wish I could give this place zero stars. I have never met such an unprofessional, monotonous, emotionless, and bored doctor ever. What doctor sits there and yawns in their patients' faces throughout the entire appointment? I went in for an eye exam because my vision had been getting worse (headaches, eyes trouble concentrating, blurred vision, trouble reading, driving, doing daily activities). I had been prescribed reading glasses a year ago for schoolwork, using my phone, in class. I told the doctor during my eye exam that I had become dependent on the reading glasses and that I was hoping to get lenses to help me 24/7, not just for reading. After examining my eyes the first time, Dr. Rosenberg told me that he could not find anything wrong with my eyes and that my prescription for new lenses would barely change, that he would not recommend me getting new lenses as they would "not do me any good." He then started other tests on me, one which required a computer. It took about 35 min for us to complete this test because the computer crashed and rebooted, taking nearly 25 min. The entire time it was rebooting, we were inside this small cramped closet room, and the doctor was yawning and mumbling to himself the entire time. Even during my entire exam he was YAWNING IN MY FACE! I've never seen a doctor so bored and unprofessional to his patient in my entire life. He then completed other exams on me, one in which he had to put eye drops in my eyes. I asked him if these drops would be okay for me since I was driving home, and he waved off my question. Though after I left the office, my vision was still blurred from the eye drops and eyes felt very uncomfortable, making it difficult for me to concentrate while driving. In the end, he straight up told me there was nothing he could do for me. He could not figure out my problems. He even had the nerve to say to me that I was probably just "stressed out" from college and that's why I was getting headaches. He recommended I "de-stress" and go see a neurologist. Who is he to tell me that I am not having vision problems? Dr. Rosenberg was also typing away on his computer the entire exam whenever he was not physically attending to me. I had to sit there and wait multiple times in the exam room with him sitting right next to me, clearly attending to other things on his computer while I am waiting for him to assess me and look at the images he took of my eye. In total, I was there for an hour and a half, even after arriving 30 min early. It was not even busy inside, as I was the only patient there. I really do not recommend anyone go see this doctor as it truly seems like he does not know what he is doing. I felt disrespected and treated as if I were stupid throughout this entire doctor's appointment. He completely wasted the one eye exam I am eligible to receive a year through my health insurance. PLEASE do yourself a favor and pick a different eye doctor! read more

The doctor was very friendly and patient. He saw my older glasses could use a quick fix a voluntarily adjusted them on his own. He reviewed my insurance and helped me get the best bang for my buck, instead of pushing more expensive frames and add-ons like so many others do. I'd highly recommend coming here! read more

Dr. Harrison and his team at Bridge Opticians are fantastic! The exam room is clean and tidy, and Dr. Harrison definitely knows his stuff. He was incredibly thorough with his exam and very patient with his explanations. Not only that, he makes sure to keep his patients relaxed and comfortable - we chatted during the whole exam, which certainly made me feel more at ease about having my eyeballs prodded at. Getting my glasses fit with David was also a pleasant experience as well. He was helpful in suggesting glasses, and did a great job of going over my insurance with me. Even the gentleman who I picked up my glasses from (whose name I didn't get... oops!) was so kind and friendly. My glasses turned out perfectly as well! Nice selection of sunglasses. Younger man working there was quite mice. The older gentleman, very gruff, with an accent (maybe Russian or Eastern European ?) was, simply put, a nasty snot. I asked one question, just one, and very politely, I might add, and he answered me with such disdain that it bordered on hatred!. I'll find somewhere else to get my sunglasses, thank you very much!
