I've been going to Bridge Opticians for about 3 years, starting when I lived in Englewood Cliffs, but I've kept going even after moving down to Hoboken, despite the long subway/bus ride up to Ft Lee. Dr. Rosenberg is fantastic. He's helped me switch contact brands several times to try and fix various problems I've had with my lenses and every time is very generous with his time and free samples. I'm much happier with my current contacts than the ones I'd be using previously. The thing that's made the biggest impression was the last time I ordered contacts 2 months ago. I told him I was going on vacation in a week and he gave me an extra sample pair just in case my contacts didn't come in before then. The contacts were shipped to me from the distributor and would have arrived before my vacation, but I never received them (I was out when UPS tried to deliver. They needed a signature and left one of those sticky notes, which I signed to let them know to leave it the next day. They took the note, but somehow the package disappeared before I got home. Unfortunately, as far as UPS' records are concerned, I signed for it, so they weren't willing/able to compensate me). After getting the tracking number from Bridge Opticians and dealing with UPS customer service, I finally gave up and ordered new contacts. Dr. Rosenberg apologized profusely (despite it being in no way his fault) and offered to have them shipped to his office and then mail them on to me himself through USPS (so they could be left in my mailbox). Even better, he offered to split the cost of the new contacts so I wouldn't be charged full price (my annual insurance benefit for contacts was used up by the first order) and told me to wait to give him my credit card information to pay until I actually received them. He really went above and beyond to help fix an issue that wasn't his fault at all. read more

My family has been going to Bridge Opticians for years. The service is OUTSTANDING. Dr. Harrison Rosenberg is kind, patient and willing to go the extra mile for his patients to be satisfied with the product whether it is frames, lenses or contacts. In addition, the hours are phenomenal. You can catch them there at 7:30am on most days before you go to work and up to 8:00 at night a couple days a week. I went to see Dr. Rosenberg for my annual eye exam. He was very thorough and polite. He even fixed my current pair of glasses that were broken at the hinge. He was very accommodating with the other patients that were there as well. The guy at the front was very polite as well and they answered all the questions I had. Overall, excellent service. What on earth? Dr. Rosenberg is a whole different type of optometrist than what Im used to. I'm used to going to Costco and having to wait in line for over 30 minutes before I'm seen. Then quickly rushed out once I am. Then having to wait 2 weeks before I get my new glasses to test out. Forget all that. Dr. Rosenberg spent so much time welcoming me and educating me about my eyes that Im a little annoyed none of my optometrists did this for me before. Nicest doctor I've met so far and very smart. If you want to feel rushed(but given slow service) and thrown in and out, go to those big chain stores. You want individualized service and someone who actually cares? Dr. Rosenberg will go out of his way to help you out. As a pharmacist, I've dealt with a lot of optometrists before, and none are as engaging and interested in helping patients as he is. HIGHLY Recommend! After going on google searching for an eye exam in a local area, I came across several and luckily chose the right one! I called in and scheduled a same day appointment. Arrived on time and filled out the questionnaire, and proceeded to Dr Rosenberg which I waited 5 mins until it was my turn. Now, the Doctor was extremely helpful and answered any questions I had and also explained the exam thoroughly. Throughout the whole process we were in conversation and time went by rather quickly. To keep this spiel short, words cannot express how perfect it was and talk about service, WOW!! Absolutely, outstanding 110% customer satisfaction.. A+ BBB across the board! I am glad I did - they have big selection of all kind of frames and David (who also speaks Russian) helped me find great frame to fit my style & advised on best lenses for me. I really enjoyed my visit with Dr. Harrison Rosenberg. He is willing to spend the right amount of time to give you a thorough eye exam, and he is extremely pleasant to deal with. He answered all of my questions and explained things clearly. He also gave me several contact lens brands to try out, just to make sure that I had the best contact lenses for me. This sounds normal, but due to my travel schedule, I could not see him again in time, and he gave me another pair (the ones I liked) to double-check my vision with them on - to really ensure I had the right prescription. Dr. Rosenberg is the most knowledgeable and courteous optometrist in the country. Been to many different places for an eye exam, but have never been so satisfied and thoroughly explained. Dr. Rosenberg personally sent me 4 months worth of contact lenses because I said I don't feel comfortable wearing contact lenses and it is always very irritating to wear them. Dr. Rosenberg wanted me to find the most comfortable contact lens that suits me, and I found it. I've been wearing contacts for the past 11 years, and I finally found the one. I tried many different brands, but was not able to find one until Dr. Rosenberg helped me out. He will treat his clients like he is treating his own child, meaning, he will do whatever it takes to satisfy your needs even at his own costs. I will visit Dr. Rosenberg for my eye glasses and contacts whenever I am in the country, even if I am in California, I will visit Dr. Rosenberg because I know I can trust him and I have no doubt that he will more than satisfy my needs. read more

AMAZING place!!! Dr. Rosenberg is one of the nicest, most thoughtful doctors I have had the pleasure of meeting. I usually see his brother, Dr. Michael Rosenberg on the 2nd floor, but I went to Bridge Opticians once my husband got vision ins at his job, and couldn't be happier. The whole family, (Dr. Rosenberg from BP & his brother's practice upstairs), are so friendly and genuinely concerned about your well being. If you have vision ins, Bridge Opticians is great place to get your glasses and contacts, but if you only have medical ins, head upstairs to his brother (he's an ophthalmologist so he accepts medical).
