Had me fill a costly pre-cataract eye drop prescription prior to surgery, only to tell me I couldn't use it because of mediation allergies (which I previously reported at first meeting and mentioned afterwards) so I was stuck with a bill for a useless medication. Then they reported to Medicare that they performed surgery on my left eye, when they had done so on my right eye, so I had to prove to Medicare to change the file to avoid rejection when my left eye finally got done (which I later had done elsewhere). Staff and Surgeon didn't communicate with each other and when they did, they gave opposing answers. All they wanted was to move me through so they could get their money from my insurance. Find another place for your eye care.

I went here for my first eye exam after having blurry eyes when I started reading. He not only gave me an exam making it worse, he prescribed a glass so strong, I got headaches. I never even ended up using them. His wife works with him and she's just as crazy as he is. They try to push you toward getting frames that are more expensive too. I was so unhappy with the whole experience, I went to another doctor and was told the glasses I had were too strong and wrong for the condition I had. I'm so grateful I went somewhere else after this experience instead of sticking with what he said. Dr. Palance could have done some serious damage to those that believed what he said so my two cents: go somewhere else, those eyes are yours for life-and sometimes you won't see the mistake you made until problems start down the road.

Thoroughly examining her requires much more time than usual, more empathy than is typical, and a great deal of creative problem solving. Dr Guba and his staff went above and beyond to get the job done as well as it could possibly be done. We were grateful for all they did and thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. We highly recommend anyone to utilize his services who needs them.

I went back to see Dr Guba recently and under his guidance my eyes have actually improved. I had…read moresome issues but he put me on notice to add certain food groups and vitamins to my diet and amazingly enough the problems I had have either stabilized or improved. As before his staff is wonderful, the exam he gives is more than comprehensive and Dr Guba takes plenty of time with you to explain everything fully. I brought my kids there for their annual exams. The office charges $40 if you want to get blood drawn there instead of going to quest or labcorp. They also charge $15 for an eye exam. Blood draws and eye exams are supposed to be part of a well child exam and a doctors office should not be billing the patient/parents extra for these services. The insurance covers all these services for an annual exam. This was confirmed by our insurance company who called the office. The insurance company wanted to speak to whoever is in charge but they didnt put the insurance rep thru to the person. The receptionist at the doctors office did not tell me they charge for covered well child services or else I wouldn't have made the appointment there. We only went to this office once and won't be returning because of this. There are plenty of pediatricians who do not try to bill the parents for services already covered under insurance.

But the woman said it's not gonna be available until June. So I said I want to make an appointment now. But she said, "you want to make an appointment for June NOW??".. Like what is wrong with her? She obviously said the appointment are not available until June, so I want to make early before it's getting more longer. But she look like so lazy to work to make the appointment. I just cancel then, better start to find a new pediatric!
