I have been going to Bilancio for just over a year for eye exams and contacts. The optometrist…read moreDavid is very kind. He answered all the questions that I had that didn't come fully answered at the last place I had gone for an eye exam. Lisa, the owner, is about as sweet as they come. She definitely goes out of her way to make things hassle-free for customers. Places like this make doing business locally feel extra good.

I had to call back the following Monday, the 6th. It was Lisa that answered again. I explained that she had previously told me she would call back to schedule an appointment and I haven't heard from her. Instead of offering any sort of apology or acknowledgement, she just replied, "are you available Tuesday?". I appreciate that Lisa tried to call back, but my answering system caught her saying, "and she wonders why she can't get an appointment". The snide remark from the owner of a small business gives me pause. Being in a family of small business owners and having worked in one for half my life, what being in a family-owned business has taught me is, above all, humility and exercising consideration to make your customers feel cared for. This was not the feeling I received from my interaction with Lisa. Based on my initial experience, I am not confident that any future experience will be different. It's too bad because the clinic is right down the road from me.

I've had glasses and contacts for 27 years, so I've been to many different clinics to get service…read more I had a great experience and am very impressed about every person I interacted with, every step of the way. I was running out of contacts but also out of time, so I was pressed to find a doctor and get my eyes sorted out quickly. Luckily, I was able to be squeezed in as a new patient at Pearle Vision on very short notice. The technician was very pleasant and explained to me the style glasses have taken on, which was very helpful. The doctor was fabulous. He took the time needed to answer my questions, explaining things to me that I now understand so much better. He didn't talk down to me and showed me respect in doing so. I felt like a partner in my care rather than just another patient on an assembly line. The doctor even showed me google images of a possible condition, warning me with a joke that of course the images would be horrifying and my case is not so bad - but then went ahead and showed me, explaining what I have going on. This is such a good idea for practice, because the first thing I would have done was to google the condition and see for myself. It was so helpful to have him there with me. I felt respected. Finally, the worker who checked me out was excellent in walking me through how to best fit the contacts I ordered into my budget. She helped me step by step so I'm sure to get my rebate and everything. She empathized with my pain about glasses styles, explaining how her husband had similar struggles in finding the right pair. I just really appreciated that. It was a lovely experience. I'm so glad to have found Pearle Vision.

PRODUCT: First, their product selection is second to none. They have styles for anyone's taste - fun, practical, trendy, high fashion, you name it. As a result of their availability, I was able to find a pair of Ogi drill mounts that fit me wonderfully as well as a pair of polarized Kate Spade sunglasses (non-RX). CUSTOMER SERVICE: The optician that assisted me, Ben, has a natural talent for consultative sales. There was absolutely zero pressure involved and he helped me identify two products that genuinely fit my personality, appearance, and lifestyle. I was grateful that he was honest and as a result of his expertise I left with two pairs of eyewear that I can't wear enough. EYE EXAMS: I do not have experience with eye exams provided at Brandon Eyes. I usually purchase from an eyewear boutique in Milwaukee (which is where I live). My prescription from my original Doctor of Optometry was still current, but I wanted to try Brandon Eyes. Needless to say, my prescription was transferred (with no complications) to Brandon Eyes and I was able to buy eyewear. I suggest visiting Brandon Eyes for any eyewear need and ask for Ben, though I am confident that any of the employees will be able to help.
