I then waited around half an hour while the salesperson tried to get the lenses in, only for him to tell me he'd ordered the wrong size and they were too small for the frame. He assured me he would order the correct pair, and it would only take about another week to arrive. He once again told me he would call me to let me know when the new lenses arrived. I waited over another two weeks and had not heard anything. I called the store, only to be greeted by the same employee who sounded frantic when he realized he had not ordered my lenses. He told me they hadn't arrived yet and would let me know when they have. I'm over two months into this whole process and still don't have lenses to fit my frames. The employees at this location don't know what they're doing, and do not do their job correctly. Just save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else.

I don't buy my contacts there because they're almost double the price of what I can buy them for at Costco. They will give you a printed prescription if you ask. My insurance now covers the $35 for the imaging of the back of my eye but even before it was covered it was well worth the $35 to not have half a day where I cannot see because I had my pupils dilated. I'm taking off a star because of a couple issues. I brought my glasses in to have the prescription read last year and it was never entered into my chart I was then told I would need to make an appointment to bring them in for a second time to have them read. It's really inconvenient to have to take off time from work for a mistake they made as they're not open on Saturdays. The second issue being that the eye doctor seemed really annoyed with me that I haven't gotten the new glasses she wants me to get. I have had the same glasses for about 10 years and don't feel I am having issues with seeing out of them--in fact I still wear them instead of my contacts if I am doing up close work like embroidery. When I asked if the new prescription was much different than the glasses I already have they were unable to tell me since they read and then didn't enter the prescription. They asked if I brought my glasses with me--why would I when I brought them last year? They also seemed annoyed that I am not wearing readers when I use the computer which I explained was because they give me a headache. I was told to use a lower power, which would only be available somewhere online, and should hold the lens up to light to see if they look distorted--hard to do when buying online. I decided not to explain that I had tried a couple different strengths and found they all gave me a headache. Just didn't sit super well with me to feel like I'm trying to explain I'm seeing well and I'm being told I just need to buy the new glasses and I have to wear readers. My parents had a similar feeling about their eye visits with the same eye doctor. I'll give them another shot but after that I'll ask to see someone else.

I decided it was time to get a refund and move on... I fortunately landed in the hands of a an excellent optometrist and staff at Verona Vision Center. We are talking top notch experts in their field. The quality of service from the phone call to the exam to the fitting to receiving my glasses is a 10+. My lenses are crisp and clear. It's wonderful to see so clearly out of the high quality material they use.
