She was nice and welcoming but the doctor not so much, he didn't introduce himself nor did he greet me he just told me to follow him into the room and have a seat, after that interaction I just felt uneasy afterwards. He started things without explaining what he was going to do or what it was for. Afterwards I went next door for the frames and lenses and I was assisted by Mari and she was extremely helpful, kind and informative and made me feel comfortable. Mari definitely needs a raise because while she was helping me she was also the only one picking up the phone to assist callers as well and because of her great social and professional skills. I gave this place 3 starts because of the doctor, I never even learned his name but he was a short white male that had grey hair and that's all I learned of him.

The front desk staff provided a warm and welcoming greeting and made the check-in process smooth and efficient. The technicians were knowledgeable, professional, and guided me through each step while clearly answering all of my questions or any curiosities I may have had about the equipment. The eye doctor was thorough and attentive, throughout my entire exam (as well as answering any questions I may have had) and the optician was incredibly helpful in assisting me with selecting the perfect pair of glasses. Every team member demonstrated strong expertise in their role and made me feel genuinely welcomed throughout my visit. The entire staff was kind, professional, and personable, and the facility itself was very clean and well maintained. I highly recommend this eye center to anyone looking for exceptional care and service! P.S- Definitely everyone needs a pay raise for the experience they provide at this facility!

He simply told me I was responsible for the $39 fee. That is fraud since these photos are elective. Also, they do not give you an option of a puff of air to your eye for the eye pressure exam. Dr. Bonnie Chen, absolutely not. I have been wearing glasses and seeing specialist since I was in elementary school, but she has been the worst eye doctor I've ever seen. I am very nearsighted, have a decent astigmatism, retinal issues, and family history of eye health issues that could lead to blindness. When I would address my concerns with her, she dismissed them. She would tell me it is average life stuff that I wasn't having issues with. My final straw was when I expressed to her that I was having more troubles with light sensitivity - mainly when driving, but also when I was outside in general - even with the use of sunglasses. She told me it wasn't possible for me to have this experience because I have brown eyes. She then went on to tell me that I just needed my prescription updated (hadn't changed much), make sure my windshield was clean (already clean), and continue wearing sunglasses (still doesn't help). I went to my pcp and got a referral to another eye doctor. I'm glad I did. My concerns were finally heard and addressed.

While there I downloaded a fax app and sent it right to her...she was impressed! Lol Maggie also provided suggestions about what would be most helpful while deciding on the types of lenses. She was very honest and provided her professional opinion. Overall, I would use Visionworks again... I can't wait to pick up my new glasses in a couple of weeks.

7/27/21 So by the…read moretime I picked out my glasses last time and received them, I was so pleased with the overall experience that I scheduled an appointment for my mom to have her exam. I liked how safe the experience was and that is always something I'm thinking about for my Mom. I have to say I am more than pleased with how both Lynn and the technician took care of my Mom. They were caring and gentle. My Mom is not in the best of health and the technician was SO patient with her. There was some trouble with the machine so the appointment took a lot longer but the challenges were communicated throughout with apologies. The tech did a much better job with addressing the issues I had for the first appt. Its almost as if she read my review! I love the prescription sunglasses I picked out which didn't even take a full two weeks to come back. My regular glasses was the first time I got progressive lenses. After two weeks of wearing them and not adjusting, I brought them back today and Lynn was happy to make adjustments. I would encourage anyone who wants no fuss with personalized experience to get their eye exam and/or glasses or contacts to come here. No waiting in a room full of people. I went to the Concord Wal-Mart vision center because it took my vision insurance. I arrived for my…read moreappointment, did the new patient paperwork and waited about 15 minutes for my appointment. I went into the exam room and met Dr. Meredith LeBlanc. She explained her husband, Dr. Ryan LeBlanc, was the normal eye doctor, but he was away for a conf and she was covering for him as she is also an eye doctor. Dr. Meredith was super friendly, asked me about the changes in my vision that brought me in for an eye exam. She gave me good information about how my eyes work and the bifocals that I now needed. She took her time with my exam and was nice about me blinking while I waited for that little jet of air for the dilation. She was very personable, informative and I felt good about my visit. I went out to choose some frames while I waited the required time for my eyes to dilate for her to check them. They had a wide variety of frames from basic wire rims to some of the name brand frames. The prices also varied with a good selection under 50.00 (even a few under 30) all the way up to a couple of hundred for the name brand frames. While I did see some cat eye frame and a few trend frames...the bulk of their stock is plastic standard square/oval/wire rims. If you are looking for round frames (which would have been my first choice) or anything unusual, this may not be the place for you. I do understand, since they focus on basic glasses that would work for a wide audience who is looking for value. I found a cute pair and took them to Andy, the gentleman working the frames area, and finished up with Dr. Meredith. Once I got finished with my exam, I came back out to Andy to finish my transaction. He was also very friendly and explained the measurements he was taking and how they work on deciding on the type of bifocal lens I wanted. I made all my choices (including the insurance, as I have super bad eyesight and knew they would be hitting the floor every once in awhile while I blindly try to locate them when I get up) and Andy gave me a pair of the disposal sunglasses to shield my eyes after being dilated. Even when I went back to pick them up, Andy was very helpful and told me to stop back in a few days after I had worn them a bit if they needed to be adjusted again. I've been to a lot of places over the 40+ years I have worn glasses. I have to say, I had a better visit at this location than at some private eye doctor offices or big chain offices that I have been to before and spent a lot more money on glasses at. I would recommend this office and will go back again.
