Terrible service. Took my order. Promised delivery 7-10 days. I followed up 3 weeks later. No one can tell me the status of my order. Left multiple messages for the sales rep and store manager to call me. No response after 5 days. read more

I had an appointment scheduled for January 27th at 2 pm. I got a text message from this location, 2 hours before my scheduled appointment letting me know that the doctor was out of office and I needed to reschedule. I rescheduled for February 6th and today received a call from this location to reschedule yet again because the doctor was not going to be in office. The representatice I spoke with. Amelia, was not only unhelpful and rude, but hung up on me mid conversation we I told her that the issue was on their end not mine. I must have dodged a bullet knowing that their staff frequently cancels on patients because they doctors are never in office, and that their front desk staff will hang up on you. I do not recommend this location to anyone read more

Made an appointment for my daughter 2 weeks ago. Recieved a text with the appointment date and time. Never received a confirmation text, so I checked the link that was sent with the original text. The only options on the link are to cancel or reschedule. Got to the appointment only to find out that they cancelled it because I did not confirm. They apparently had left a message on Saturday at noon. Make sure to answer the phone when call to confirm, as they do not send text confirmations, and they dont have the option to confirm online. Visionworks - Optometrists Near Me - Concord, North Carolina

So I went to Visionworks for my eye exam. The specialist who helped me was phenomenal. However My experience with Dr. Moratti was not very good. My past experiences at this particular Visionworks were always pretty good. They always took a great deal of time getting my eye glass prescription correct. Not this time. Dr. Moratti had the personality of a wet noodle gave the vibe of someone who didn't want to be there. When I received my eyeglasses and put them on I immediately became dizzy. I could not see anything and started getting a headache. Everything was blurry and completely off. My eyesight was better without the glasses. I took them back to Visionworks and requested another Dr. He gave me a new prescription and apologized for the mixup. As previously stated, everyone else was very nice. The store was very clean and there was plenty of parking. My main issue was that the Dr. obviously didn't know what she was doing. read more

Office in Matthews, NC... scheduling an appointment was easy, time and date given were acceptable. Customer service from the dr. and her staff was good. However, customer service from the front desk and front staff (the staff that helps you with picking glasses, placing your order) was terrible!! The staff was rude, not helpful, and not knowledgeable AT ALL. I received 4 calls stating that my items had been received at the store and ready for pickup, yet the first 3 times I went in to pick them up, the items had in fact not been received at the office. One pair of glasses took 4 weeks to arrive and when questioned as to the reason, all I got "we are unsure where they're at. We will call you when they come in". On one occasion when I went to the store to pick up my items, the office was locked (not during lunch or after hours). The reason the office was locked... the office staff was on the sidewalk on the phone and smoking. I will NEVER recommend this office to anyone!! read more

My appointment was going good for my autistic son until they gave my son a prescription for glasses. When we asked why Dr. Marradi wrote the prescription, she told us that the office visit was over and she had to see other patients and that my son had to give permission for me to be present. He did. We waited at least 20 minutes for her to see us. Within this time she saw at least 2 other patients. We could not wait any longer because my son had to clock into his job in 10 minutes. I was deeply disturbed. Why would they give him a prescription, without explaining what it was for in the first place? Even if they did, why would they be so transaction oriented, that they didn't care whether he understood it or not. I recommend that if Dr. Marradi is giving you the exam, then run, do not walk. read more

I was visiting from out of town and had a contact emergency. The staff helped me without hesitation. They were kind and efficient and went out of their way after 3 other optical places refused to help me. Thank you! read more

Poor customer service. I went here twice and right away they told us that they were closing although it was 1hr away from closing time and the 2nd time, although we already have an appointment outright told us they are closing. NEVER coming back here. read more

Warning**** This office has gone upside down. Today was my appt where I arrived 30 mins early and did not get attended 30 mins after my scheduled appt. Then finally asked about my info and they can't find my service provider.. Now, I have been coming to this office for the past 3 years and never had an issue. The excuse is they can't find my provider info. This office should be ashamed of themselves. They definitely need to staff or hire more staff.. Now to look for a new practice... read more

Had an appointment on December 7 at 10 AM. Got there early just to be told that nobody on staff showed up and all the appointments were canceled that day. Then the gentleman in the eyeglass place told me they didn't have appointments available anytime soon. read more

I came in today to get the prescription put in a pair of frames I ordered online with another company. Maggie saw to me quickly. She was very nice, looked up my insurance information and was just very patient and accommodating. I didn't have my prescription printed so she suggested I fax it over. While there I downloaded a fax app and sent it right to her...she was impressed! Lol Maggie also provided suggestions about what would be most helpful while deciding on the types of lenses. She was very honest and provided her professional opinion. Overall, I would use Visionworks again... I can't wait to pick up my new glasses in a couple of weeks. read more

This is my second time visiting this location and I was pleased with the customer service. It also didnt hurt that there was a great sale going on. There was a wait, but Sheila took great care with my needs and clarified what I wanted before placing my order for frames. I'm sure to visit this location in the future. read more

This has to be the most incompetent group of staff I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. From the general staff to the unpleasant office manager whom wouldn't give me her name after I asked her three times. Do yourself a favor and don't even bother coming to this location. read more

Disappointing visit. Upon entering the establishment the associate at the front of the store behind the desk turned her back as if she did not want to be bothered. We were there for well beyond five minutes before being acknowledged. There was no one else waiting before us. This was a scheduled appointment. Once being acknowledged the associate was rude and condescending. Her tone was less than professional. I am a professional individual who has worked with the public for more than 20 years. This type of behavior is not appropriate and certainly is not customer service oriented. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. Perhaps Lens Crafters, Vision Loft, America's Best, etc. read more

I( am definitely not using Vision Works again after the experience I had tonight. Please read on so you will understand. I'm a retail manager at the mall near your store and really feel customer service is truly #1. Although the customer may not always be right, there should be some understanding and basic respect they receive at the minimum. I'm truly stunned at this point. So a year ago I bought glasses for my daughter and myself at your location in Myrtle Beach, SC in the Coastal Grand mall. The woman helping me was an older woman from New Jersey. She was very loud and took forever getting my glasses ordered because the computers froze and they shut down twice. It took about three hours or so. She was complaining about the company and how it would be closed soon due to this and that it was a terrible place. Then a man came cursing and screaming from the eye exam area at the receptionist. It was awkward so I sent my 12 year old daughter to the hair salon across from the store to get her hair cut while I waited. I could see her from the store so I knew she was ok. I also had my two year old in toe so as you can imagine this was frustrating to say the least. One thing a specifically specified was for her to put insurance on my daughters glasses because she is a child and could have an accident. So a nearly a year goes by and the stem gets snapped at the base. So we now live in Concord, NC and I go to the Vision Works outside the mall on Concord Mills Blvd. I take her glasses in and the clerk tells me the frame needs replaced because of the type of break. I said that's cool we have insurance on them. She goes to look it up and wouldn't you know, it's not there, it's on mine instead. So I am now upset and ask if it can be changed. I'm told no. So she gives me the number to a Quickfix place at the Northlake Mall, they end up breaking them more. Now, my daughter is wearing her old prescription because she needs some type of glasses. We get them replaced yearly, so we were going to go the Vision Works again but I was thinking about my experiences and sent an email to let you know. The manager of the Concord store calls me. We actually just got off the phone. He had tried to call a day or two prior and I missed the call. When I called back the woman who answered said he was off and asked why I was calling him. I replied I wasn't sure, because it was explained in his message and she rudely snapped, "I can't help you if you don't even tell me why you're calling him." I asked her to please let him know I called, "She said,"Uh Yeh,..hmph." So any way, he called and we spoke and I'm kind of stunned. His voice sounded like he didn't even care. I tried to keep it light and seem ok about things and just let him know about my experiences. I also let him know about the how rude the woman was on the phone. In the end he offered to fix my daughters glasses for $50.00. $30 for the insurance and the rest towards the repair. WTH? I was shocked. I said I will pass because I don't want to pay insurance on a pair of glasses I'll be replacing soon? I told him how I'd ask if they could fix the insurance. He said he was doing this for me because my experience, I hardly see how charging me $50 dollars is worth it. Anyway, I said no thank you and his response was. "Ok, I hope you use us again and if not that's ok too but anyway if you do come see me and I'll take care of you. If not it's fine." What in the world kind of response is that from a manager? Any way, I just wanted you to know, to whom it concerns. Ridiculous. I expected better service from a place like Vision Works and really if people don't like their job, they shouldn't even apply for it. I really hope no one else has to deal with this again. Please speak with your teams about customer service and basic empathy and courtesy. read more

This is my 2nd time entering this establishment and not being greeted or asked if I needed help until about 15 minutes have passed. Today I entered to pick up my 4 pairs of glasses that I purchased on my 1st visit. I went straight to the counter and the rep looked at me but said nothing. I ignored it because he was helping another customer, but still 10 minutes later and countless eye catches, still no acknowledgement. At about the 15-20 minute mark (after a Caucasian gentleman enters) he then says "I'll be with you people in a few." I hate to pull the race card out, but today it seemed to be so blatant that I could not ignore it. Please do better. read more
