The doctor at Huntersville Eye Care Center took a while to warm up, but once he did, he was very easy to talk to and he laughed genuinely and often. Friendly and knowledgeable guy with a calm demeanor. I'm always worried when the eye doctor takes that magnifying-glass-thingy and gets really close to your eye. This stems from an experience back in NY. That dude's mouth was WAY to close to mine. If I was Popeye, I woulda eaten me spinach. I was quite perturbed and borderline breaking point (takes a lot). He finally pulled away. With body language and tone of voice, I let him know I wasn't happy and wouldn't return. This eye doctor doesn't play those games. Very professional. The day after the eye tests (very thorough and no eye dilation but lots of lights), I woke up with vertigo. After brushing my teeth, I needed to use the wall for balance, then sat on the bed, then slid off the bed. The worst is at the gym. I hide it well (I think) because I don't want someone working there telling me I'm not in condition to work out. It will eventually pass. Had it for six months once already (gym included with no problems). I don't know if this is result of eye test or coincidence. I recommend this eye doctor. Especially my daughter who was a little apprehensive about getting eye drops and the "puff" of air. They were patient with her and educational about why they were doing it and actually got her to oblige! Del was especially helpful at helping my husband select his eye glasses. She has an innate and trained eye at seeing what will look good on patients. Regarding my experience with other doctors: I have been to 6 other optometrists and opthamologists for problems related to this. Some took my money and continued to make appointments with me even though they didn't know my condition well and weren't comfortable treating my condition. CEENTA charged me $160 while I waited 2 hours for them to rush me through an appointment with a specialist opthamologist that ended up doing me no good. Some didn't spend time with me and made me wait a long time. I felt that none of them both knew about my condition and were willing to explain it in detail to me. I even got some harmful advice from an opthamologist's office in New York that put me in a very bad condition. Dr. Khoshnevis's exceptional care was the best by far. He was extremely knowledgeable regarding my condition and was extremely helpful in explaining the condition to me and recommending treatment plans. He was accommodating when I had near emergency pain. My first appointment was within 2 hours of making it! I highly and wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Khoshnevis.

Check on if they take your insurance. Take a pile of cash because they are not credit card friendly. That meaning they charge you about 3% on your total payment. In today's world I find that very unusual because most people don't carry cash or a checkbook. For us older people that equates to 3 to 4 days food. Since the warranty only works on one frame and mine broke in 30 days, I can't get another frame WHEN this one breaks. One warranty, no refunds, poor customer service and lack of accountability of anyone there doing wrong.
