I wanted a new pair of prescription reading glasses and did not get them from my optometrist's office. This location was featured as a plus provider with my vision insurance, so I called to see if I needed an appointment. It is not required for choosing frames. I went close to when they opened and quickly chose a nice pair. They don't have a huge selection, but large enough that there is something for everyone. I was helped by a wonderful optician and was out the door very timely. I was promised a pickup date in less than 2 weeks. My insurance covered most of the cost and the remaining amount I put on my Target card using a 5% discount. When I went back for pick up, I was helped by a different optician who was equally helpful and personable. I love my new glasses. I won't hesitate to return. read more

Had a very bad experience at this location. I ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses; however, when I received the call to pick them up two weeks later, they had ordered the wrong glasses. They had ordered the sunglass lenses on a normal Coach glass frame, not the Coach sunglass frame I had ordered. I am not sure how they even created sunglass lenses on such a small frame. I then left and had to return two weeks later, so the whole process of getting the correct glasses took one month and two drives out to Morse Crossing. I was also not offered the $25 discount for signing up for Target Optical website. My husband received this discount at Target Optical on Sawmill Rd just last year. When I mentioned this to the associate, she said nothing could be done about it as everything was processed and she could not even send me a digital receipt of my order through email. I find it weird that this option was never offered to me, even though it exists. She then was able to process a $25 check mailed out to me from Luxottica in place of the in-store discount, which took a month to receive. Overall, the whole process felt like a hassle and I will not be returning to this location for glasses again. read more

Went to Easton Target Optical this past Saturday due to nose rubber thing was missing (lost) from my glasses. It was about 1030AM. They were a little busy so I checked in and they told me to do a little shopping then come back. I have strained my back so I could only stand/walk for about 10 minutes before I needed to sit. So I headed back to optical. I sat there for about 20 minutes. Now there was only one other person in the area I was in. Assuming she was waiting for the eye doctor. So, after waiting 20 minutes and listening to the,I will call her a receptionist answering the phone and spending time with folks on the phone and sitting at computer, I guessing training a new receptionist I asked if it was going to be much longer? She looked at me and said "YES, I need to get customers that have appointments in first." As I said,there were only 2 of us in their lobby area! The other person was already checked in. This receptionist was RUDE! There was no one else to checking! Since I did not know when she could take 2 minutes to help me I decided to leave. As i left I let her know that I was going to write a review. All she did was laugh as I walked away. I hopped on 270 and went to Sawmill Target Optical. The lady there was awesome! In and out within 2 minutes and glasses fixed! Easton Optical you have lost my business! And due something with your rude ass receptionist! read more

Nothing impressive about this location. It felt like the older setup that you encounter in stores that haven't been given that TLC just yet. I'll be truthful, I'm not even really sure why I stopped here, I'm completely blanking on that. What I am remembering is how lost I got coming here. I'm an out-of-towner, so I didn't know the way here, I actually passed it up at least once, if not more. Staff were nice, I remember the check out process as well, but still no idea what I bought. This is, essentially, "our" Target, and I'm surprised I haven't reviewed it. Sweetie goes a few times a month, and I go once a month or so. It's a pretty typical Target: home goods, clothes, some groceries (though not enough for me to do grocery shopping here, just pick up a few things we forgot elsewhere, etc.) This time we were looking for cleaning supplies, and they have a decent selection. My general impression of Target is that prices and quality are slightly higher than average. That held true here. We didn't end up finding everything we needed, so we went elsewhere. Usually, we can find what we want, and get in and out. It's Easton so traffic can be bad, but the parking lot isn't too crazy, and the store is laid out well so you don't have to fight crowds too much. In the end, I still prefer Meijer- bigger selection, lower prices. But this is handy if you only need a few things. read more

Ordered first pair of frames online in February...already had prescription just wanted a second pair. About a month later I reached out to Target to learn order was 'missing' but not cancelled. They had no plan to contact me. Chat agent was fair at best. Instructed to cancel and reorder. I should've learned but reluctantly ordered another online pair early April. Contacted them late April to learn order was 'pending'. Service agent on phone contacted my Doctor and confirmed RX, which she said was the hold-up and we were all set. Today, May 6, I called to check status and low and behold, the order was stuck pending RX. Ridiculous - cancelled and ordered at a normal O.D. Expecting in 5 business days with only $6 increase in cost. Much easier to use insurance too. Well worth it. Target Optical is a mess - don't make the same mistake. read more

I totally heart Target, though I wish this location was Super Target, I can't really complain. They are always neat and clean with up-to-date merchandise. On most occasion, they have full line of opened check out lines which I really appreciate; it makes it go by fast. Even if they do get really busy, they have a assistant who kindly directs you to shorter line for fast, efficient check out. My choice for quick in and out supply store from toiletries to... well, almost everything except groceries! read more

I personally love target. This particular target is much better than the ghetto walmart across the street. .Its clean, well stocked and the staff is very friendly. Always quite a bit of parking too which is nice for lazy people such as myself who stop in after working all day! The only cons i have about this target are that they often have too many customers waiting to check out and not enough check lanes open. .also theres never many employees around the sales floor to help with and questions. Other than that this place is just swell! i prefer to go later in the evening around 7 or 8 when its not too busy, not sure what its like during the day time. read more

This location is not the most convenient for me, but it has the best selection. I live near the Lennox Center and its always more crowded and more picked over than it is out at Easton. It's all the same stuff, there's just more of it in my size. Same goes for my wife who can never find anything in her size at the Lennox Target. Not my favorite Target location as thus store always seems to be a bit disorganized. The wait times for checkout are a bit longer than usual too. Even express. Price check for matching competitors needs to be streamlined. Merely bringing in a current price, print out or ad is insufficient. Customer service insists on hauling out their giant old iPads, enclosed in an otter box, to slowly, slowly, double and triple check the prices. Whether it's 10 cents or 30 dollars it must undergo the scrutiny usually reserved for national security. read more

Can you really say anything bad about Target!!! It always has everything I'm looking for and even more of what my children want and beg for. Now that the remodeling is complete, I really like the set up. The shelving in some areas of the store are lower (i.e. pharmacy and shoes) it really opened up the store. Puts things at eye level. Target inventory and prices will pretty much be the same no matter which you shop. Sure is nice knowing they'll be carrying basics in all departments right along with more trendy items. Of the three Target locations I've frequented, things have gotten messier here. And I have had more unfriendly (in the form of indifference) experiences with various staff members here. This is one of the more popular Targets in Columbus, and as such, I always expect it to be packed and picked clean. But it never is! Love Tarzay! My nickname for this retail giant. I am always able to find a thing or two here. From a cute little top to stuff for the house and everything in between. The shopping experience feels better than walmart and Meijers, the local competitors. It's a bit more upscale with great prices to match. Nothing like grabbing Starbucks to start my shopping experience. It's definitely a psychological move in Targets part by including them inside their stores. Have you been to Target before? Yes? Then you'll know exactly what to expect here. They have done some re-design/upgrades in the home goods section which looks quite nice. I've had good luck with the grocery section, some of my usual items are much cheaper here than at the normal grocery stores. I still am a bit leery of the fresh produce because I don't know how often it gets refreshed by staff. Oh! A new improvement here is the addition of self-checkout lanes. This store never seems to have the cash registers appropriately staffed so the self-checkout lanes will be a big help in getting me the heck out of there. read more

The store was a little more cluttered and disorganized for my likes, but the cashier we had was top-notch. She was friendly, efficient, and even bagged my items the way I like them organized (by size, shape, fragile, hot/cold, spill-factor, and items needed right away -- sorry, I'm OCD about that type of thing). For me, this was THE BEST experience I have EVER had with getting an eye exam and contact lens exam! Samantha checked me in, and explained ALL of the benefits I have with my current vision insurance. She was knowledgeable, and very engaging, as we laughed and talked about wearing glasses, and how I wear progressive bifocals, but her Mom can't. She did my pre-exam quickly and efficiently. I did not wait very long to see Dr. Gliniecki, the optometrist at all, she was actually ready for me before the pre-exam, which was impressive to me. Dr. Gliniecki was very patient, very thorough, and answered any and all of my questions, she even gave me some inside tips and advice for my particular vision issues. I came away feeling so confident that my eyeglasses and my contacts are perfect for me! Before I left, I was given copies of both my prescriptions, and a little gift bag with solution for my trial pair of contacts. To say it was awesome for me, is an understatement! The worst Starbucks ever. At least a 20 min wait, even if there are only 2 people in front of you. Expect to not be politely thanked for waiting. (first faux pas) Expect an EXTREMELY RUDE and unprofessional employee to desperately attempt to get confrontational even when ignored! When asked for her name so I could talk to her manager she gladly referred me to, she refused to provide it.Terrible service from a frustrated employee. Too bad! Don't waste your time using this Target pharmacy. They arbitrarily raise prices on drugs. I was purchasing my dog's Tramadol there for $20. I went to pick my her new monthly supply and lo and behold the price was $55 now! When asked why the big price jump, supposedly there was some sort of discount card that expired. I was not aware of the "discount card" and I have been buying this med for over a year there. So instead of giving it to me for the old price of $20, the pharmacist informed me they would hold it for awhile in case I got this mystery discount card. I find it interesting that they would rather throw it out then at least getting some money for it and keep a customer coming back. But there is a happy ending to this story. I am a Costco member and went to their pharmacy. They have a member drug prescription program for people who do not have insurance and it also applies to dogs. $12 for Tramadol at Costco. And I also transferred two other prescriptions to Costco at a considerable savings over Target. I don't like this Target. It is dirty, messy, and the cashiers are rude. So happy not to have to shop there again or any Target for that matter. Target has seen its heyday and it is in decline now. read more

They are currently remodeling? So things are out of place and there is a lot of empty spaces in random places. This location is always busy. The lines move quickly though and the inventory always seems to be up to speed. There is rarely ever anyone around to answer a question. And if there are people around, they don't speak to you, you have to initiate the conversation. I have been to this location A LOT, and its always been that way with the staff. read more

This store gets 3 stars for having generally everything I would need in a pinch (since they are so close to me compared to like Kroger's and Meijer's) but their customer service is lacking. I would also like to note that (perhaps it's due to their location) but they are nearly always busy and therefore the lines at the checkout can take longer to get through than it does to actually go in, get what you're in their for and then get to the checkout. The only people that are really pretty nice are the cashiers and this one dude back in Electronics with a tattoo. The people at the customer service desk/returns are generally not very nice. Again, I think there is one guy there that works at that desk who is really pretty nice. I believe it's the department manager of electronics, I say that because she was wearing a badge that said "manager" of some kind on it and was back in that department, but at any rate - very rude. Example: There was a TV in her department - it was at the very top of the display wall where the TVs hang therefore I couldn't see it. She "couldn't" bring it down for me to look at after being a total b!tch and telling me that I couldn't open the box without buying it even though I told her if it wasn't what I was looking for I would just be immediately returning it. I wasn't rude in any way, shape or form and tried to be nice during the entire transaction. As I walked away I heard her scoff and that was it for me. Unless it's the dude back in electronics with the tattoo or the fellow at customer service, I think their staff aren't worth talking to. Only other complaint is that a lot of the staff doesn't seem to care. I think that perhaps this stems from management as I know that at work, if management is beating us down we start acting like that. Outside of that, the store generally has everything I need, they have pretty good sales and prices and can be a lot of fun to shop at as long as you ignore the people that work there until you get to the register. My husband and I often shop at the Easton Target because we live close by. Usually we buy dvds, cds, food, candy, toiletries and just about anything we need on short notice. I've never been totally impressed but my husband likes it so I go along with him. I have decided as of this morning, April 14, 2014 to NEVER Step Foot In This Store Ever again and I told the Supervisor in Customer Service as much. Five days ago, my three year old grandson was visiting for the day. I noticed one of his shoes had the bottom coming off so I decided to take him over to Target and get a new pair of shoes. The selection was extremely small and the shoes were cheap and poorly made but I didn't want to send him home without a new pair. We found a pair of Spiderman Shoes that light up and they only cost $18. He loved them and I figured they would last at least a couple of months until summer. We went back to my house for a couple of hours where he played kick the ball and ran around the back yard. I was astonished when I discovered the front of one shoe was already pulling loose. I put the shoes with the receipt back in the box and tried to return them today. The supervisor told me I could not return them because the wear was unusually bad. Perhaps I was mistaken, but I think she was implying I was trying to return a pair of old shoes. I told her these were the shoes I bought and they could be found on the shelf in the shoe department. I told her I would never shop at this store ever again. Initially, I told her to keep the shoes and took the receipt. My husband went back in and retrieved the shoes. We both left the store. I'd like to point out, there is a Walmart across the street that I stay away from because they sell poorly made merchandise. Now I consider Target to be on the same level at that store. I do not appreciate being treated like a liar and a cheat, especially over $18. We have spent thousands at this store since it opened and this was my first attempted return. Target is a pretty nice store and I still like to go there but there phone service i just experienced was horrible and rude. Trying to find a toy for my 21 month little girl for Christmas. My first attempt they could not hear me clearly probably because I own a sucky magic jack phone lol so I say I will call back on my cell. I call back a second time and asked for toy deparment and said what I was looking for but she said she could help me but to hold. Now I am on hold for 5 minutes then hear a ringing tone on and off every minute but still get nothing and I hang up and try to call back. Third time same person answers I am sure, she says sorry there busy but will help again and puts me back on hold for even longer so I hang up and try back talking to same person saying I have limited minutes on my cell and she still hasnt found what I'm looking for yet and keeps asking someone in the back ground then I think there phone hung up on me. Forth time a man answers and I tell him I am having a very hard time to get any help then he says he thinks theres alot of Kaous there with the phones and tries to help and a few seconds later my phone says lost call. I am not sure if this was caused by my phone or theres but this was very annoying and thought I would make a comment. All I wanted was the Playschool sit and spin in pink and just found out after my mother acually got through on her phone that thats a big seller and that when there truck comes everyday that they'll get 1 or 2 of them and then it sells out and that i have to call every morning to see if its there.
